Pool, was nice size & enclosed by fence w/security gate on each side & entire fenced in area around pool was clean.. Only problem was the pool itself needed cleaned&but needed to be cleaned and or treated.

Older hotel with not many perks but it was clean, comfortable, a great rate compared to other in the area, and outstanding customer service. The pool is green but hopefully they’ll have it easy for the summer.

This was an older hotel that had been recently renovated. It is easy access from the highway, and located on the lake (not a super great view tho). We asked for a first floor room due to mobility issues. We were able to park right outside our room. The room had a large king bed, which was very hard, and the pillows were too, one upholstered chair (would have enjoyed one more, or a sofa (there was plenty of room), a desk w/desk chair, refrigerator, microwave, dresser and small tv. Nightstands on both sides of the bed had USB plugs as well as electrical outlets on the lamps. Bathroom area was standard. Towels were small, clean, but had stains. Not enough towels for two people, and desk staff was intermittent. Ice machine was around the corner, but not a dispenser. Had to use an ice scoop to get the ice, and it was missing. We used our ice bucket, so kind of gross. Never know who else was diving in! Pool was nice, but it was still HOT, HOT in September, and there was not much shade. Couple of nice restaurants right across the street. If you're looking for budget accommodations, this is the place, but I will likely spend a few extra bucks next time.

The Inn was in a good location since we were visiting family. The cost of the Inn was good since we needed two rooms. We only slept at the Inn Disappointed that it was early season and the pool wasn't open, but we probably wouldn't have swam since the family we were visiting have a pool

There were bugs all over the room. Trash and gum stuck to the floor. And a dirty/used coffee cup in the stack of cups in our room. Do not stay here. It was not pleasant whatsoever.

I was very disappointed. I have stayed at this hotel in the past and the room was very nice, however, this time I book 2 rooms and both were dirty. The floors had not been swept, I had to clean the nightstand with a Lysol wipe, the shower curtain had pink mold on the bottom. Even though the room I stayed in was booked for 2 people for 2 nights we only had one washcloth had to ask for more. Overall I was so disappointed that I will not book this hotel in the future.

I noticed my allergies were bothering me really bad, the next morning I noticed an area where the bathroom wall, and the shower met. It was rotten and full of mold. The next morning I looked for the piece my coffee maker needed to put the bag in. It was never found. Looked in Ice Bucket. Wasn't there but two half eaten English Muffins were. Geez. I have pics if it lets me share.

BED BUGS! BEWARE! This place is horrible! The pool is green, the AC didn’t work properly and rattled, the room smelled putrid. We also we unfortunate enough to wake up to a bed bug infestation. When we went to the front desk to discuss and asked for the Manager the clerk acted like they didn’t understand what we were talking about and kept asking us if he had a dog, we had no pets fyi. The clerk asked for our info and said it would be given to the manager to contact us, we haven’t heard from anyone. I also emailed the property with no response. We left and destroyed our luggage to not transport the bed bugs elsewhere. I do have pictures for reference.

This is definitely a motel. But the rooms have been remodeled with hard floors. The bed was comfortable and had nice sheets/comforter. The room was clean. The refrigerator was larger than most hotel rooms. I’d stay here again. Great price too!

We didn't have any place to hang our clothes. We had to remove the ironing board so we could hang our clothes. Need more trash cans, pillows are too hard, and mattress. The heater worked great!!

The hotel was clean but the room was just set up very poorly. We booked a 600 sqft suite which was double the size of the standard room. But they set it up with no additional furniture so it was just big emptiness. And it just wasn't though through in many details. 1) the fridge and microwave were by the little 2' x 3' foot desk so there was no available outlet on that side of the room; 2) there were only 2 thin bath towels and 1 wash cloth for our stay and cleaning service happened only once in our 4 night stay; 3)there was no level surface in the shower to set your soap or razor; 4) there was no hook or towel ring or bar to hang a towel or your overnight kit in one of the sinks; 5)there were no hangers in the room; 6)there was one roll of toilet paper and no backup; 7)they had an ice machine but no scoop. I could just dip my bucket into the ice but it doesn't make you feel good about other people putting there hands or something in the ice you are scooping. I requested hangers and new towels and more toilet paper and the staff was accommodating but it was just poorly thought out and uninviting and I regretted to have given this independent hotel a try.

The front desk staff were super nice and the room was clean and comfy. The only problems I had were the TV not wanting to change channels and the bathroom door got stuck a few times. Mind you I never mentioned this to the staff cause it wasn't a big deal otherwise I'm sure they would have fixed it.

The rooms are clean and the beds are comfy .BUT if your on the ground floor and someone is in the room above you, you hear ever step they make and kids running around the room and every time they move a chair or dro something. I recommend getting a room on the second floor so you don't have to listen to it all night. Tim at the front office is great very friendly. Other than the people above us this is a great hotel.

I was excited about the suite, but after transferring rooms due to bad air conditioning and location being above the check in/out desk...we realized the less expensive rooms were 100 times more suitable. When I asked about the air conditioner they sent the young receptionist.

The room was advertised as a lake view scene but we were in the middle of the hotel only seeing a small slice. The room was hot as the air conditioner was not on. It didn’t take too long to cool down. However there were no vents to the bathroom. Stuffy. Staff was nice and kind.

This is definitely a motel. But the rooms have been remodeled with hard floors. The bed was comfortable and had nice sheets/comforter. The room was clean. The refrigerator was larger than most hotel rooms. I’d stay here again. Great price too!

Host was very accommodating. We were driving down from Arkansas in ice and didn’t know when we could get there. Call them and he said don’t worry just be safe and your room will be available when you get here. Came out to talk to us when we did arrive. Room clean and very comfortable.

This was an older hotel that had been recently renovated. It is easy access from the highway, and located on the lake (not a super great view tho). We asked for a first floor room due to mobility issues. We were able to park right outside our room. The room had a large king bed, which was very hard, and the pillows were too, one upholstered chair (would have enjoyed one more, or a sofa (there was plenty of room), a desk w/desk chair, refrigerator, microwave, dresser and small tv. Nightstands on both sides of the bed had USB plugs as well as electrical outlets on the lamps. Bathroom area was standard. Towels were small, clean, but had stains. Not enough towels for two people, and desk staff was intermittent. Ice machine was around the corner, but not a dispenser. Had to use an ice scoop to get the ice, and it was missing. We used our ice bucket, so kind of gross. Never know who else was diving in! Pool was nice, but it was still HOT, HOT in September, and there was not much shade. Couple of nice restaurants right across the street. If you're looking for budget accommodations, this is the place, but I will likely spend a few extra bucks next time.

The Lakeview Inn is in an excellent location, right on Lake Granbury, close to downtown and resturants. The only negative was our room had a slightly musty smell, but it was clean, updated and well supplied with a TV, coffee pot, microwave and mini-fridge. The staff was courteous and we enjoyed our over night stay at the Lakeview Inn.

Clean old hotel. It was quiet and beds were comfortable. Not sure if the beds are actually queens. They seemed small but we got by. Breakfast was a pass .Would not add it as part of the value of this place. Room rate was probably more than it should be .

I have stayed at this place many time, however, this was the last time I will go there. The rooms are okay, no frills. The pool area was horrible. Pool was not cleaned and the pool furniture was not usable. Looks like this place needs a total overhaul. There was no real breakfast served just some cereal in canisters with milk and 3day old bananas. I was sorry to see it in such disrepair. Great location it should be doing better!

Rooms were renovated and new. Issue was towels had stains from other people’s make up. Room above my room was so noisy and I couldn’t sleep all night. Walls are like paper. Towels were very thin. Breakfast was sad and depressing. Won’t be staying here again.

Not what I expected from the pictures. We got “upgraded“ to a suite. This suite had a nonworking TV, nonworking air conditioner, and if we wanted to open the windows because of the air condition, not working, there was no screens in the windows. When we came in we picked up the bugs that were on the floor and just dealt with It. I believe breakfast was cereal and bananas. Do not recommend.

The room and bed were nice. We especially like the shower instead of bathtub option. But the breakfast was lacking. The coffee was lukewarm and they offered to replace it, but we had to leave before they could do that. And there were only muffins, pecan rolls, yogurt, and fruit. Otherwise, it was a convenient place to stay.

This is an old hotel but maintained pretty good. Needs a face lift. Pool was closed due to a leak though the staff said we could swim if we wanted to. Not sure as to how that effected the swimming as we did just fine. View of the fireworks for the 4th were outstanding, just outside our door.
