Bethune City Relax Spa & Sauna

So let me begin by saying that there is no check in process, no one on reception & they do not have a card machine. I secured my booking with a card that got blocked my bank due to fraud. There’s no way to change payment method on here but on the day, the hotel tried to take the payment & when it declined they emailed me. But it was from a gmail account so I wasn’t even sure if it was legitimate. My receipt on here showed I had paid so I wrote to them on here to explain that & said that if there is any problem then I’ll sort it out on my arrival if I need to pay. Then I didn’t hear from them again. I drove to this hotel from the UK after work & arrived at just before 9. All locked up & in the dark, no answer on the Ring doorbell, no answer to the various mobile numbers I found, hotels.com tried too… then a nice French lady tried calling them from her French phone & they answered! They said I could stay but they’ve rebooked my room & I’d have to pay cash for a lesser room! This is for work so we sorted it out by me booking another room on here to pay by card. It was ok but massive dip in the middle of the bed, gone off biscuits, no towels (none!) & I got bitten twice & more!I guess they were good enough to let me stay in the end given they hadn’t had payment but I wouldn’t return, I didn’t think it was great that they left me stranded over an hour & given the circumstances & I was communicating with them all the while, & then the room…I just can’t say I’d recommend it, sorry.

Aceuil familiale pour ces chambres d'hôtes. L'ambiance est chaleureuse et conviviale. Pour ceux qui aiment l'authrnticité des gens du nord. Je recommande à 1000 pourcents

FAITE ATTENTION IL N’Y A PAS DE SPA ! Le spa n’est pas compris dans la réservation. Il faut payer un supplément pas préciser dans l’annonce. Ne vous faite pas avoir.
