Great 12 room hotel right in town. Large room. Well equipped. There’s a breakfast available daily, too. Breads, yogurts, quiche, fruit. Parking is in a large lot behind the hotel.

Spa priveleges were wonderful. Although thd spa is 1/4 mile up the road, access to the lane pool, fitness center, and other facilities made it worthwhile. Plua your pass has in and out access, so you can come and go all day. Staff at the hotel were super friendly. Breakfast was unique for a hotel, but quite delightful.

One of our best experiences in the NAPA valley. *Situated in vibrant part of downtown St. Helena. *Easy to access the entire NAPA valley. *Friendly and welcoming staff. *An "A+" breakfast experience. *Spacious, comfortable and well appointed rooms. *Easy free parking behind the hotel. Looking forward to going back.

I was here for business but was able to sneak in some leisure and this place sits right in the heart of everything. To the left and right, shopping and restaurants. And 15 mins from wine tasting heaven! Highly recommend. Front clerk, Kara, house keeper, Rossy, and bfast staff member, Vicky/Becky, made the experience very much enjoyable. They were all personable, kind, professional, and helpful. This location does not have a gym on site BUT guest get free access to the Spa and fitness center which is amazing and has eucalyptus sauna, pool, steam rooms, and nice gym! From this lengthy review, you can tell that I was 110% satisfied and will be returning for a leisure stay!

Great place to stay unless you were counting on there being a pool. The photos are very misleading since there is a photo of a pool but if you read the description it says NEARBY pool. Apparently, it’s a few blocks away and accessible through a card you can get from the front desk.

The location is excellent for walking St. Helena, shopping, and dining. Parking in St. Helena can be difficult and fortunately the hotel has a covered parking lot on the back side of the property. We have stayed in more luxurious hotels but the Wydown was perfect for a Napa Valley trip.

This is a nice hotel with ample parking in downtown St. Helena. Very friendly and helpful staff. Don't look for great scenice vistas, our room looked into a narrow outdoor corridor across from another room. But who needs a view after a day of wine tasting?

Great location and walkable to many restaurants, shops and boutique wineries. Rooms are clean, however we were placed in an ADA-compliant room (maybe bc I booked on Expedia) so shower wasn’t as convenient but they had a nespresso coffee maker, and fresh baked cookies and waters in the evening. I would stay here again for the location.

The stay was comfortable and the front room staffers were so kind! They gave us wine, tea, homemade cookies, and local recommendations. The rooms were warm and clean and the parking was extra convenient. I would LOVE to return in the summer time, 10/10 would stay again.

The positive points of staying at WyDown hotel: This hotel is located in St Helena’s downtown on Main Street, even though hotel’s in a old building, but its lobby and rooms look very nice and very clean, it’s managers and staffs are well trained, they are friendly, and always willing to help. The first day after my husband and I arrived at WyDown, we couldn’t rest in peace because the heavy traffic noise from outside our room’s windows. The next morning I got an email from manager Michael, who promising to let us change room, by the afternoon we were able to move into a much quiet room. I’m very happy for hotel management’s quick response to our situation. Here’s some suggestions for the hotel: 1) improve the insulation of hotel’s windows 2) replace room’s tv screen to the wall which facing the bed’s headboard, not to the side of the bed. 3) add some simple morning bread toast or cereals in hotel’s continental breakfast

There are many pleasant things about the Wydown, but the hotel did not meet my expectations. When I arrived in the afternoon at around check-in time, I was advised that I was receiving an “upgrade” to a corner room. The room itself was lovely, but it faced Main Street. I was concerned about the street noise and called the front desk and asked to be moved elsewhere. I was advised that the only other room available was a similar corner room overlooking Main Street. No explanation was given why the premium room I had reserved was not available. I was offered the use of a white noise machine, which I accepted. Later that night we also turned on a Dyson fan in the room as an additional sound block. The problem is this. Main Street in St. Helena is also the main north/south highway running through Napa Valley, Route 29. The hotel is located on a block on which there is a traffic signal. Large trucks apparently make lots of noise when they decelerate to stop at the light, and then also when they accelerate to begin travel again. This room is on the second floor and this loud truck noise is not blocked out by either a white noise machine or a Dyson fan. There was a very loud truck at about 4:30 a.m., and at about 6:30 a.m. the loud truck noise began to come with some frequency. This is not the experience I was seeking from this hotel, and I would not stay in this room again.

Outstanding and charming hotel with a very friendly staff. The ONLY problem was the traffic noise from the street facing room. Once you get used to it, you're ok, but you have to get used to it.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! The building’s interior has a hip and modern vibe. Service was warm and friendly. Room was spacious. Appreciated the access to a semi private outdoor patio. The second floor halls are hardwood flooring which makes late night arrivals noisy. The hvac system in the room was also much too loud for our liking and didn’t consistently keep the desired room temp. Continental breakfast was perfect for an early morning start and hotel is in a great location in St. Helena.

I must say: I have never stayed at a hotel with a more friendly staff. THey we re SO great, pleasant, friendly, and happy to help and give us suggestions. Sabrina, Paula, Cara, Justin, James, Carol... I can't thank you enough for everything. The location of the hotel is excellent, close to shops, and restaurants.

The Wydown was recommended to us and did not disappoint! The location is perfect in downtown St. Helena. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and well-maintained. The complimentary continental breakfast was delicious with homemade English muffins and pastries from Model bakery. The best part for us was the customer service which was off the charts! Sabrina Overton was exceptional and elevated our entire experience. Thank you, Sabrina!

I was here for business but was able to sneak in some leisure and this place sits right in the heart of everything. To the left and right, shopping and restaurants. And 15 mins from wine tasting heaven! Highly recommend. Front clerk, Kara, house keeper, Rossy, and bfast staff member, Vicky/Becky, made the experience very much enjoyable. They were all personable, kind, professional, and helpful. This location does not have a gym on site BUT guest get free access to the Spa and fitness center which is amazing and has eucalyptus sauna, pool, steam rooms, and nice gym! From this lengthy review, you can tell that I was 110% satisfied and will be returning for a leisure stay!

I would love the addition of a hard boiled egg. Otherwise, the Model Bakery items were exceptional, quality teas, and cloth napkins - very impressive! We had an issue with the noisy heater in room 8, keeping my husband awake. Sabrina supplied us with an extra duvet, blanket, and space heater so we could turn off the heater. Then, he slept like a baby! Everyone on he staff were so warm and accomodating. Thank you!

The stay was comfortable and the front room staffers were so kind! They gave us wine, tea, homemade cookies, and local recommendations. The rooms were warm and clean and the parking was extra convenient. I would LOVE to return in the summer time, 10/10 would stay again.

Perfect spot to visit the vineyards and walking distance to good food in every price range. The small touches, 2 luggage valets in the room, fresh baked cookies, staffed breakfast employee to ensure excellent service. Staff was friendly and solved small issues quickly.

Great location and walkable to many restaurants, shops and boutique wineries. Rooms are clean, however we were placed in an ADA-compliant room (maybe bc I booked on Expedia) so shower wasn’t as convenient but they had a nespresso coffee maker, and fresh baked cookies and waters in the evening. I would stay here again for the location.

One of our best experiences in the NAPA valley. *Situated in vibrant part of downtown St. Helena. *Easy to access the entire NAPA valley. *Friendly and welcoming staff. *An "A+" breakfast experience. *Spacious, comfortable and well appointed rooms. *Easy free parking behind the hotel. Looking forward to going back.

We were visiting for a friend's birthday and enjoyed a couple of nights at the Wydown as we did wine tasting around St. Helena. It was a beautiful property within walking distance to shops and restaurants. I'd highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Room was lovely and spacious. The bed was amazing the best night of kid free sleep ever. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderfully light breakfast in the morning with a selection of yogurts locally made English muffins egg bites and juice. Would stay here again.

This property is very well-located, with friendly staff, a pretty common area and a simple, yet satisfying breakfast included. In the room, the nespresso and still/sparkling waters were a welcome amenity, as were the Molten Brown bath products. The bed was a bit saggy and uncomfortable to me (husband disagreed) and room and the bathroom were kind of sad and nondescript . There is a strange skylight in the room so bring a sleep mask if the light will bother you. It would have all been completely fine, except for the fact we averaged $700/night and at that rate were expecting much, much more. We never spend that much just to sleep and shower, however we had a wedding to attend and stay options are limited. This hotel is a $350 max/night experience,
