A simply lovely small hotel in the heart of the old town. Beautiful decoration, thoughtful touches in the rooms. The staff were excellent, very helpful and accommodating. Even though parking is not offered, they helped with a parking permit. Breakfast was delicious. Perfect location walking distance to everything in Ioannina. Highly recommended.

I LOVED staying here. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the room comfortable and quiet. It's close to everything and very convenient to shopping and dining. Staying in the Castro is highly recommended.

Had a phenomenal stay with Penny helping us in Ioannina. The hotel is well located within the castle walls, walking distance from somw good food options in the city. When we had difficulty with our AC it was resolved immediately. The included breakfast was a generous and delicious spread, along with optional (also included) cooked items. As for the room itself, it was modern, stylish (as was the entire hotel), comfortable, secure, and well kept by the room cleaners. The bed was the best we slept on our entire trip. I would highly recommend anyone stay here in their travels.
