The hotel is laid out very nicely with easy access to parking, the pool, the outside patio, the food area and the front desk. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The breakfast staff was very good at keeping the food trays full and they were friendly too. The pool is clean and nice size, and fun for the kids especially. We’d like to see a “hearty” coffee along with the Regular. We’ll return to this hotel.

The room was OK, with a lot of room. TV and Internet were good. Parking was a problem. I had to park rather far away across a busy street. But the main problem was at night I could not find this Hyatt and had to drive all over the place until I finally got to the Hyatt with help from my GPS. The problem is that the hotel's sign ("Hyatt") was way up in the air, where I don't usually look. I should be able to see the name of the place by looking straight at it. Instead when I look straight I don't see Hyatt; I see instead Beltone. I needed a place to stay; I already have hearing aids that I use.

First of all, there needs to be at least two people working at the front desk in the evenings. One person in charge of checking people in, getting food for people at the bar, answering phones, and doing housekeeping services is unfair to not only the hotel employee, but the guests at the hotel because people are left waiting for longer than normal periods of time. Only one elevator was working. The hallways smelled like garbage or sewage. The carpets were stained. The bathroom outlet did not work. Housekeeping came too early and never returned.

Really great value. Room was great! The property was in a convenient location. The only thing was there is no restaurant. The description says there is but i was directed to the Mexican restaurant around the corner. When i asked the next day i was told they do usually have “limited provisions” but not like a regular Hyatt hotel and the fryer was down so no provisions. I would stay again even without a restaurant but was definitely disappointed after expecting one.

Safe place close by the police station and strip mall. Hotel parkibgbis very dark so the staff recommend to park in the public parking by the grocery store. The staff charged me $16.80 for two small bottles until i dispute the charge. There is onky one cart to bring your stuff if you have lots to carry. The bathroom is clean.

The staff and personnel really made the place. The front desk attendant who checked me in was lovely and kind. The same for some of the workers staffing breakfast and checking us out. They really were doing a great job with what they have to work with. The free breakfast was decent and what to be expected, a nice feature, much appreciated. However, the place is worn a bit, scuff marks on walls, stains on carpet, stain on bathmat (which also had a rip), and no modern outlets for usb or usb-c's, plugs didn't stay in bed wall outlet well. I did quickly think about bed bugs being a possibility but they're were none, thank goodness. It would have been nice not to have thought that though. Pool is a nice amenity but water was cloudy / no towels available. Its in a strip mall with a food store which could be conveinent. It was fine enough for a quick overnight while traveling but not sure if ill return.

Extremely high quality all around. Only issue was the impact that renovations created on the first floor. Breakfast room was being renovated. Also affected was the gym and pool which were closed. They we just finishing up the work ao we'll be staying here again on the way back north.

I want to start by saying that I have been staying at Hyatt hotels for many years! Sadly, I have never been as disappointed as I was during this stay. The lower level is under renovation, which the website stated would be finished over a month ago. I looked past that issue until I got to my room and noticed that the hallways were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. My room door and the door beside it had wood chips falling off, and both locks looked like they had been pried open at some point. The bathrooms were clearly only quickly wiped down. The pool was closed with no mention of it on the website, yet they are still using it as a selling point. This is clearly false advertising, and we could have stayed at many other hotels in the area. To add insult to injury, they suggested that we use the gym instead to get what we paid for—as if they are the same. I chose this hotel for sentimental reasons and because I have never had a bad experience until now.

My husband and I stayed one night at a hotel in Fredericksburg, Virginia, as a midpoint on our drive home from Florida. Overall, the stay was clean and comfortable, and the room itself was cozy and well-kept. However, there was a noticeable musty smell in the room, which was a bit off-putting and ultimately the reason I rated our stay as “good” rather than “excellent.” We also had an issue with the TV when we arrived—it wouldn’t turn on because the previous guests had disconnected all the wires. Thankfully, the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and came up to the room right away to get it working again, which we really appreciated. The hotel is located in a charming small college town, and the same front desk attendant recommended a few cute local spots to eat, which we enjoyed exploring. Despite the minor hiccups, the staff’s responsiveness and the area’s charm made for a pleasant overnight stay.

Mostly a great stay! Upon arrival I checked in after a very long drive because we are moving to the area. Went into my room and thought there was a huge black spider on the floor. It wasn't but instead a huge clump of hair. I called front desk and she did offer to come clean it but she was alone and had no help. After more inspection the bathroom was covered in black hair as of someone had cut their hair and left it. We chose this hotel for the indoor pool option and the 2 times we went down to have a swim it was cloudy and wasn't clean. We ask again the front desk and they said there was nothing they could do about it because they didn't have staff to help. Not a huge issue! But was disappointed. Breakfast was good. Staff was super nice. Room was mostly clean other than the hair. Great location.

Hotel was fine. The room was spacious but reeked of stale smoke even though signs say it is a non smoking hotel. The bathroom and shower were rather dated. Lobby was uninviting with hard furniture and harsh lighting. Also doors closed so loudly which made it rather noisy. Not terrible but I don’t get all the rave reviews.

Lobby was uninviting with hard furniture and harsh lighting. Also doors closed so loudly which made it rather noisy. Not terrible but I don’t get all the rave reviews.

Staff was amazing, totally saved my trip. The hotel was in the middle of updating the lobby but the rooms need updating even more. There were stains on the carpet in my room, the water pressure in the shower was the worst and the bed was lumpy.

Some features seemed as if they were "falling apart", such as paint peeling off the walls in the lobby and the elevator shaking heavily when used. The area was nice, staff was very friendly, but we experienced some technical issues with the TV and wifi.

we had a handicap room. the toilet and shower were in a separate room from the vanity. the vanity had no door.the shower room had no where to sit out side the shower. the toilet had no seat. nowhere to sit or flat surface to lay clothes to get dressed, to get dressed you had to go into the bedroom nude from the shower. no clock or microwave. hvac was loud could not hear tv when heat or air was running. other than that everything was fine.

Very nice room and friendly staff. Areas of the hotel still under construction. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of items. The shade in our room was broken and could not be opened.

It was fine. No TV channel listing available online or paper. Must scroll through over 200 channel listing to find channel being sought. Thus is laziness by hotel as all it takes is one person just one day to do this for posting. Majority of channel are shopping or info, it was very frustrating. I just wanted to relax in front of TV after long day.

Perfect hotel for traveling with teens. The hotel suite with 2 queen option was great, very spacious. The room was very clean and updated. The location was perfect for all the history locations we visited and close to food and shopping as well. The morning breakfast was included and it was a good selection of options. The only thing that we didn't like was, there was no microwave in the hotel room, only in the lobby. Which was a little inconvenient for my teens.

Our check in was terrible. First the cards we were given didn’t open our room. Had to go all the way back down to the lobby and get that fixed. Went back up and opened our room and other people were actually Sleeping in the room we were given. Went all the way back down with all 3 kids at 11pm to get a new room! That was so embarrassing and could have been really bad had those people been awake or anything else. My young kids were terrified! We wasted money on something to Sleep while driving from Florida to Connecticut.

It's proximity to Old Town and the train station is great and the staff is amazing. They were so accomodating during check-in, upon my return at the end of the day, at breakfast, and when I needed to store some things there after check-out. They made me feel so at home. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. I will always stay here when visiting Fredericksburg.

The staff at check-in and check-out were extremely friendly. The hotel was under renovation but it really didn't impact our stay. The room was very comfortable and quiet. It was clean and the shower was nice. The only issue we had was with the breakfast. We are trying to cut back on carbs so the only options we had were turkey sausage (not bad), eggs (ehhh - hotel eggs so you know what you are going to get), and some fruit. Everything else was breads (toast, bagels, muffins), cereal, and oatmeal. I'm sure most people would be fine with this as they did provide several options but if you are watching what you are eating, it didn't leave a lot. It was enough to get us through until lunch. We would defintely stay here again.

First let me say, the staff was excellent! However they did not have the original room I booked with Expedia, so they offered another. That room did not have a room darkening shade and the rug was pretty smelly and dated. We moved to another room, still not the one I originally booked. This room was right next to the elevator which I do not like, as it is normally pretty noisy. Thankfully it was quiet since there was very few people in the hotel. Another drawback is the fact that they collected a seventy five dollar deposit in case we did any damage to the room. Seriously? We have stayed in 5 star hotels that have never required a deposit. And we are both in our seventies… Would not recommend booking with a third party ever again as for some reason the property does not view the reservations in the same way.

First of all, there needs to be at least two people working at the front desk in the evenings. One person in charge of checking people in, getting food for people at the bar, answering phones, and doing housekeeping services is unfair to not only the hotel employee, but the guests at the hotel because people are left waiting for longer than normal periods of time. Only one elevator was working. The hallways smelled like garbage or sewage. The carpets were stained. The bathroom outlet did not work. Housekeeping came too early and never returned.

Upon arrival staff was welcoming and professional, however the room assigned, (2 queens non suite), wasn't the room we paid for, so back to the front desk we trudged, at the desk we were informed that this was a third party booking thru Expedia and that this was all that was available, unacceptable, requested refund and guess what a king bed suddenly became available however we paid for a king suite, disappointed no refund of overage mentioned or provided as of yet will enquire once settled at home. Lesson learned book directly with hotel. No other issues to mention.

Inside the property itself was lovely. Clean. Very nice room. Spacious bathroom. Small refrigerator. Staff was very friendly and polite. The area was sketchy. Felt unsafe. Passed 3 police cars with their sirens blaring on the road leading to the hotel. Only stayed one night though so it wasn’t a big deal. Just made my husband take the dog out for her walk instead of me.

The room was OK, with a lot of room. TV and Internet were good. Parking was a problem. I had to park rather far away across a busy street. But the main problem was at night I could not find this Hyatt and had to drive all over the place until I finally got to the Hyatt with help from my GPS. The problem is that the hotel's sign ("Hyatt") was way up in the air, where I don't usually look. I should be able to see the name of the place by looking straight at it. Instead when I look straight I don't see Hyatt; I see instead Beltone. I needed a place to stay; I already have hearing aids that I use.

I didn't fully realize that the property is in a strip mall. There are no large trees near the parking lot so it gets really hot without shade in the summer and parking was a bit far from the front door so check-in was awkward as it wasn't completely clear where/how to enter the building. People were very friendly and the hotel was clean and quiet. I would have liked a microwave in the room and some kind of very dim light or nightlight for the bathroom. Otherwise there was nothing special.

Really great value. Room was great! The property was in a convenient location. The only thing was there is no restaurant. The description says there is but i was directed to the Mexican restaurant around the corner. When i asked the next day i was told they do usually have “limited provisions” but not like a regular Hyatt hotel and the fryer was down so no provisions. I would stay again even without a restaurant but was definitely disappointed after expecting one.

Breakfast featured spoiled apple juice, bagels with mold on them, no regular milk available. Yes it was the morning after Christmas but someone failed to prepare here beforehand. Extremely disappointing and unhealthy.

We stopped here passing through from MA TO NC. We checked in late 8:30-9pm ish. Wanted a pool for kids to swim and burn off energy and gym for my husband and myself. Picked this one because it was rated best and was pricier than other hotels in area. We needed a good night rest for more travel. Bath tub drain did not keep up with shower. It was gross standing water while trying to shower. Then there was black mold in grout of shower. Outlets in room did not work. No tissues in room. I was told of an outage and fuse blown. Some people did not have TV. This was very inconvenient since we needed full charge in phones for maps. Sat in lobby to charge. Poor Connie. She was the only worker. She is amazing. She was doing everything. Hyatt has failed her. She was pleasant and kind amidst all the craziness. I was a little put off came back from plunging toilets then serving drinks. With an unstocked bar.3 baseball teams stayed tonight. Knocking on our door at all hours. Trash was everywhere they blocked a stairwell door with luggage rack on first floor. Connie was constantly yelling at them. Rowing machine did not function in gym The beds were not level.. all of us felt our heads were way lower than our feet Pool was closed because baseball kids destroyed it. Do not stay here.
