Advertising photos are taken in the front newly built the bistro and gambling club building. Accomodation hotel units are in the back at a bad stage and needs new development. Water taps and shower are in a bad stage at 1 star rating at best. At least receptionist was honest saying people are staying here for convenient location. This is a case of deceptive advertising.

Hotel was pretty basic, I did like the idea of having a complimentary block of chocolate. The first room had poor water pressure on the cold water. The second room was alot better. The parking out front of the room was more like russian roulette (lucky if you got a park close to your room)

Great stay, Aussie pubs at their best! A jug of beer for $12, a chicken snotty for $23 & a great bistro / dinning area with the footy on the big screen. Clean comfortable accomodation to go with the pub!

My husband and I checked my son n his girlfriend into this motel. We bought them a brand new nutri bullet for use during their stay in Brisbane. And to be returned to us when they leave. But unfortunately the cleaners have removed the nutri bullet box/packaging without his consent (the box was left next to his luggage) it wasn't Even near the bin. So the manual and the lid of the nutri bullet was removed and thrown at by the cleaners!!!! Secondly the empty plastic bottles n cans which was put on the table in the room were also cleared!!! They were not close to it in the bin to be removed or cleared by the cleaners. Now we are left with a brand new nutri bullet without a manual n a lid and both my husband and I don't know how to store it properly or even use it. How can it be use without its lid? Aren't the cleaners informed to ONLY clean n clear the bins? And not to touch other things in the room? Plus our call to the reception wasn't handled well n professionally. We would like to hear from the management of how these issues are resolved.

The staff were fantastic! Dining was awesome. Rooms are very run down as can be expected for a very old hotel. My main issues were the noise levels from fellow guests to outside noise from the surrounding area. It is just off a very busy road and the rooms are not sound proofed. Room was clean but there was zero cold water pressure in the bathroom basin and shower. Outside the building was not very clean.

Our stay was great. The lady that checked us on I think her name was Rhiannon was so nice. We had no tv remote in the room and she was straight onto it and replaced it.she is a credit to Sunnybank hotel. The staff as well were all so friendly and efficient. Will definitely stay again.

Originally built in the 60’s, the rooms are a portal back in time. However, they are clean, comfortable and quiet. The hotel bistro has excellent service and delicious meals. I highly recommend the Sunnybank Hotel for the budget conscious traveler.

Room was clean but there was zero cold water pressure in the bathroom basin and shower. Outside the building was not very clean.

The staff were fantastic! Dining was awesome. Rooms are very run down as can be expected for a very old hotel. My main issues were the noise levels from fellow guests to outside noise from the surrounding area. It is just off a very busy road and the rooms are not sound proofed. Room was clean but there was zero cold water pressure in the bathroom basin and shower. Outside the building was not very clean.

I had a pleasant stay at the Sunnybank Hotel accommodation. While the rooms are a little dated, everything was exceptionally clean, which made a great first impression. Reception staff were friendly, welcoming and the check-in process was quick and efficient. The room was spacious and comfortable, with clean towels, fresh bedding, and all the essentials for a short stay, including a fridge, microwave and air conditioning. As a guest, you also receive discounted dining at the Sunnybank Hotel bistro, which is a nice bonus if you don't feel like venturing out. The location is excellent, especially if you're visiting Sunnybank Private Hospital, which is right next door. Market Square and Sunnybank Shopping Centre are just across the road, offering an enormous choice of restaurants, cafés and shops within easy walking distance. The only minor drawback is that the walls are a little thin, so you can hear some muffled conversations from neighbouring rooms. That said, the guests during my stay were respectful and quiet, so I still enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable and well-located place to stay that offers great value for a short visit. I'd happily stay here again.
