The Sewanee Inn was a last minute replacement for a hotel for our Bonnaroo attendance. We had heard some bad thing about our original hotel. SO GLAD we upgraded the the INN. Beautiful facility, very comfortable. We enjoyed our first evening on our balcony overlooking the golf course and had dinner and drinks via room service. The food was amazing. Continental breakfast could have used a few more items but was adequate. We hope to go back so my husband can enjoy the golf next time.

The property was beyond my expectations! I remember it many years ago and wasn't sure how it would be. I found out while staying there that the old property had been torn down and rebuilt all new. The rooms were very comfortable. The property offered a wonderful patio with firepits a bar and restaurant on site. Matthew was very helpful answering my questions about it. We only stayed for a night but would definately stay there again if visiting Sewanee! Thank you for an enjoyable and relaxing stay!

Elevator was broken, couldn’t turn off the noisy air conditioning and when we contacted the reception telling about the problem, they said they could do nothing till the next morning. Person at check in was unpleasant.

This hotel is nice! It was nice that the rooms are on one side and the restaurant is on the other. Beautiful lobby and entryway. There was a fire going in the lobby when we arrived which made it feel cozy. The beds were soft which made for a great nights sleep! We definitely would stay here again! We stayed here to go to The Caverns for an event so it was ideal location.

There was a fire going in the lobby when we arrived which made it feel cozy. The beds were soft which made for a great nights sleep! We definitely would stay here again! We stayed here to go to The Caverns for an event so it was ideal location.

The Inn is super clean and so comfortable. They do a turn down service and have bathrobes, the room even has an umbrella. Staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds and hotel were very nice. Enjoyed the restaurant and bar area as well for dinner and drinks. The only two things I found a little disappointing where that the bathroom shower was small with a wand that was semi broken and wouldn't stay in place and the television channel selection was basic channels. I didn't find an HBO or Showtime or any other movie channels besides AMC. We will definitely come back though because of the setting and the other features of the hotel.

The Inn is great and a real plus to the Sewanee community. The staff is not super nice and often seem a bit one edge. But by far it's the best place to stay in Sewanee. Food is great as well!

The stay itself was nice enough, but upon checking in we were informed that we had two reservations. I only received confirmation for one. We got on the phone with both Expedia and Mr Hampton in guest services. Mr Hampton claimed the room was prepaid, but it was not and this was confirmed by Expedia. Mr Hampton insisted that only Expedia could refund us, but Expedia said they could not issue a refund because they did not collect the payment. Expedia authorized Sewanee Inn to issue a refund, but Mr Hampton refused. We finally asked and were transferred to someone else who explained they have a 72 hour cancellation policy to which I said I didn’t even know about the second reservation because I never received confirmation and asked how could I cancel a reservation that I didn’t know existed. I asked if they could make an exception to their cancellation policy and was told only the general manager has that authority. We still hope to resolve the issue.

Staff in the restaurant/bar seemed a little like we were bothering them. We also found those in the bar with a southern accent were treated much better (we were obviously not southerners). I thought we were past that nonsense. Otherwise a great hotel.

This is a beautiful property! It is lovely to walk around the grounds near Sewanee, the University of the South. The restaurant is very cozy, and the food is fantastic! The staff was amiable and accommodating! We will stay there again!

This hotel is nice! It was nice that the rooms are on one side and the restaurant is on the other. Beautiful lobby and entryway. There was a fire going in the lobby when we arrived which made it feel cozy. The beds were soft which made for a great nights sleep! We definitely would stay here again! We stayed here to go to The Caverns for an event so it was ideal location.

The hotel is beautiful, beautifully located and beautifully apportioned need. It is sparkling clean and fresh. The restaurant menu is somewhat limited. The food was excellent, ample and reasonably priced.

Booked a night for our 35th wedding anniversary. Nothing special way way overpriced. Bar closes at 9 pm and nothing to do here. Would not recommend.

The Sewanee Inn was a last minute replacement for a hotel for our Bonnaroo attendance. We had heard some bad thing about our original hotel. SO GLAD we upgraded the the INN. Beautiful facility, very comfortable. We enjoyed our first evening on our balcony overlooking the golf course and had dinner and drinks via room service. The food was amazing. Continental breakfast could have used a few more items but was adequate. We hope to go back so my husband can enjoy the golf next time.

It was exceptional. Wonderful amenities such as outdoor seating for relaxing, reading, having drinks. Sewanee is a beautiful place made even better by the Inn. Restaurant is superb.

This is the 1st time we stayed at this Inn. It was very nice. The room was clean and had plenty of room. Smelled clean. It had a freshness in the room. We ate in the restaurant for dinner and it was delicious. We also ate breakfast in the morning and it was buffet. It was not so good. There wasnt a lot of people eating in the restaurant so the buffet food was cold and old. It wasn’t worth the money we paid.
