Stayed many times over the years. Special place home away from home. Warm and cosy in cold weather. Views to die for. Easy walk into Daylesford. Accessible helpful hosts. Can’t fault anything about this cottage. Exactly as it looks in photos.

Rodney and Denise are excellent hosts. Their home is very welcoming ,charming and was perfect for our getaway. The views from the home both inside and out on the deck were gorgeous. There are multiple levels with little nooks to settle in with a good book with beautiful views. The home was full of character and had everything we needed. Heating was available both by ducted gas or you can have an open fire. Beautiful walks are available at the back door around the lake. We would definitely go back again . Thank you Rodney and Denise.

This is a great property if you're looking for easy access to the Daylesford Lake and its surrounds. The interior is very comfortable and clean and has most amenities. It's perfect for a family with a dog as the large, secure backyard keads straight to the lake with a variety of walking options. Theres even a sweet cafe just down the road where you can eat or grab a coffee to sit by the lake. Its only a short drive from the main shopping precinct, too. The hosts are very obliging and are good communicatirs. We would definitely love to return for a peaceful getaway. sesecure backyard

This house is a home away from home with the most wonderful views of the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the deck every day taking in the vista. Loved the direct access to the walking path. Rodney and Denise are always so helpful (this was our second stay), leaving tips for dog-friendly places to eat and to visit. The house is very well-equipped.

The property was perfectly located on Lake Daylesford with access to the walking track from a gate in the backyard. Lazy afternoons were spent reading on the deck overlooking the lake.Everything about this cottage was cozy. The hosts kindly made some suggestions of where to eat, drink and visit. This was the perfect mid-week break to relax and unwind after the Christmas festivities.

Three of us went to Daylesford for three nights. The home was cosy and beautifully clean and all three beds were wonderfully comfortable . We were warm as toast and everything we needed was there. This is our second year staying at this property for our annual girls weekend away. We love it so much we have already booked again for next year! Location is perfect, cottage has everything you need, beds are super comfy and Rodney is very responsive and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend. You won’t be disappointed.

This is the second time we have stayed at Lake Daylesford Cottage we love it so much. The position is right on the lake with wonderful views into the distance. The house is extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay - it feels like our home away from home & we can’t wait to return.

We had a lovely three days of fun and laughter with a group of school friends who have known each other for over 50 years. The cottage provided all of the living areas and relaxation spaces three couples would need as well as the bedrooms and bathrooms were adequate for the six of us, very pleasant and homely environment.

Wonderful cottage in a fantastic spot. Right on the lake, walk to the Borealis in July. Everything you need in the cottage. Cosy, warm and gorgeous. Hosts were amazing, gracious and so kind. Thank you Rodney and Denise. I'll be back

Right on the lake and not too far from town. Cottage has everything you could ask for. Owners are close by and so very helpful with tips for cafes and restaurants etc. Loved my stay the first time and didn't hesitate to book it again. Thank you, Rodney and Denise, for a wonderful stay.

I have been visiting Lake Daylesford Cottage for over a decade and hopefully will continue to visit for years to come. The cottage is warm and cosy with beautiful views of the lake and dog walkers. Communication with Rodney is always great. Perfect location that feels like a home away from home.

Really lovely . Everyone loved the location looking over the lake . Made doing the dishes an enjoyable task . Fresh flowers and very cosy . Excellent and easy communication with hosts throughout the process .

This is the second time we have stayed, and it has been heaven both times! Breakfast in the sun overlooking the lake, an easy walk to shops and food and nature everywhere! We feel relaxed and recharged. Thanks to Rodney and Denise for being wonderful hosts.

This is the second time we have stayed at Lake Daylesford Cottage we love it so much. The position is right on the lake with wonderful views into the distance. The house is extremely comfortable with everything you could possibly need for a short or long stay - it feels like our home away from home & we can’t wait to return.

Stayed many times over the years. Special place home away from home. Warm and cosy in cold weather. Views to die for. Easy walk into Daylesford. Accessible helpful hosts. Can’t fault anything about this cottage. Exactly as it looks in photos.

Wonderful cottage in a fantastic spot. Right on the lake, walk to the Borealis in July. Everything you need in the cottage. Cosy, warm and gorgeous. Hosts were amazing, gracious and so kind. Thank you Rodney and Denise. I'll be back

Right on the lake and not too far from town. Cottage has everything you could ask for. Owners are close by and so very helpful with tips for cafes and restaurants etc. Loved my stay the first time and didn't hesitate to book it again. Thank you, Rodney and Denise, for a wonderful stay.

This is a great property if you're looking for easy access to the Daylesford Lake and its surrounds. The interior is very comfortable and clean and has most amenities. It's perfect for a family with a dog as the large, secure backyard keads straight to the lake with a variety of walking options. Theres even a sweet cafe just down the road where you can eat or grab a coffee to sit by the lake. Its only a short drive from the main shopping precinct, too. The hosts are very obliging and are good communicatirs. We would definitely love to return for a peaceful getaway. sesecure backyard

The property was perfectly located on Lake Daylesford with access to the walking track from a gate in the backyard. Lazy afternoons were spent reading on the deck overlooking the lake.Everything about this cottage was cozy. The hosts kindly made some suggestions of where to eat, drink and visit. This was the perfect mid-week break to relax and unwind after the Christmas festivities.

Rodney’s beautiful cottage was cosy and the perfect location for a long weekend away with family. We were right on the shores of Lake Daylesford, so even when we had rain on our first day we could curl up with books on the comfy sofas, wrap up in warm blankets, and read our books with views of the lake. The sunroom was perfect for reading and relaxing.The kitchen was wonderful, with everything I needed to cook meals for my family. We had a fire one evening, and each night we could pop the provided hot water bottles into our comfortable beds. Rodney has thought of everything you might need for a stay. The cottage feels so homey and welcoming.Communication with Rodney was excellent, and he reminded us to book restaurants ahead of time, and had so many recommendations for local places to eat and activities. We can’t wait to return in sunnier weather to enjoy the deck and garden!

The cottage was lovely. 2 living areas, 2 bathrooms and a very well equipped kitchen. The log fire was fabulous and already set by the lovely hosts. We just had to light it and keep adding wood. It also had a great heating system throughout the cottage. The location was also good - not too far from town at all. Would highly recommend the Lake Cottage

The sun room was wonderfully bright and sunny in the afternoons and the early morning views were exceptional. It was small dog friendly and everything was clean.
