Bannisters Retreat was perfectly situated with ocean views front and back, we had a family of 8 adults stay and we loved that all rooms were spacious and had full sized beds.There was everything that we needed and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

In the description it states 5 bedrooms. THERE IS NOT 5 BEDROOMS ONLY 4. I specifically booked this property as it said 5 bedrooms. This is miss leading and false advertising.It was also advertised as being air conditioned. The one antique air con it the upstairs lounge does not air condition any of the bedrooms and definitely not down stairs. The lack of security screen doors or even locks / latch’s downstairs means you are unable to leave doors open at night to get a breeze. The screens upstairs are torn and look trashy not to mention let insects through.There were dirty dishes (wine glasses & plates) in the cupboards. The location was lovely but our stay was definitely not comfortable or enjoyable.
