Had a lovely stay at the cottage. All the check in information was sent in advance and we had no trouble getting into the house. Had everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Location was brilliant, nice easy stroll down to the lake edge. Would definitely stay again.

This is a lovely little clean, welcoming dog friendly cottage right near the main shopping area of Bowness on Windermere . Our host answered all of my questions in a timely manner and gave easy to follow instructions, the cottage does not have a designated parking area however I found it relatively easy to find a spot on the street. Will definitely use again and would recommend.

Stayed for 1 night end of December really close to the main road where all the shops and restaurants are and only about 15 mins walk to lake front. Definitely recommend
