Converted Water Tower

Amazing property with excellent view. One con is that you may need to carry your luggage upstairs. We opted to leave it downstairs and carry only what is needed. There is also a washing machine - that was great to get our clothes refreshed. Tranquility stay. Highly recommend this place. Host is super responsive and attends to your needs via whatsap.

House was perfect and view spectacular

For our family, this was the perfect place. The unique details of the renovation and decor, services like beverages and washer, the amazing views and the quiet location are the things we loved most. The host was very communicative and we had no issues. The house was clean, warm and bright. We especially enjoyed our walk in to town for dinner. We found Grindavik to be a very friendly and safe town. Papas was fun and unexpected.

Beautiful place to stay! The top floor kitchen/dining/living space is relaxing and very comfortable. The kitchen is nicely equipped for those who like to cook. The beds were comfortable. The owners are lovely people who are responsive to questions/concerns. There is a walking road close to the ocean where several shipwrecks can be seen. It is in a very convenient location for the Blue Lagoon and the airport. We also spent a day driving to the basalt columns and the Solheimajokull glacier. We look forward to returning to Iceland and staying in this lovely home again.

Beautiful views from the top floor windows and balcony. We could see smoke from the volcanic activity to the east. Nicely appointed. We did very simple self catered meals but there was a good selection of cookware for someone who wants to do more.
