Sandman Signature London Gatwick Hotel

O hotel é excelente. Muito confortável. Perto do aeroporto, cerca de 10 min de carro. O único inconveniente que tivemos: reservamos um táxi e o preço cobrado pelo taxista foi diferente do informado pelo hotel. Além disso, na reserva, não nos foi informado que o pagamento deveria ser feito exclusivamente em cash. Ficam então essas informações importantes para outros hóspedes.

The hotel was fine for a one-night stay, but the lack of an airport shuttle is a drawback, you’ll need to take a taxi, which costs about £28 each way. We stayed from Sunday to Monday. Because of the hotel’s location, there aren’t any nearby shops to buy snacks, water, or drinks. There is a bar and restaurant on-site, but if you just want something to take back to your room, that isn’t really available.

This is not suitable for families with babies. The travel cot they put in our room was atrocious and dangerous. The ‘mattress’ was literally rock hard with a sheet thrown on top, not even a fitted sheet and it was dirty. When i called to get an explanation on this they said a fitted sheet was a health and safety hazard? But a loose sheet on a baby cot apparently isn’t? We had a nice travel cot with a fitted sheet in the Premier Inn, they seem to care more about baby comforts and safety. Clearly have no idea on a safe sleep environment for a baby, they offered no solution so we had to cosleep, also not safe. The room was tired, dirty and kind of falling apart. The curtains had mould and the carpet outside the bathroom was damaged and lifting up. Nice restaurant on site and comfortable beds is the only positive.

Very good for a stop over for airport

Lovely hotel with good facilities and helpful staff. Would highly recommend!
