A lovely boutique hotel, charming decor The owner was very efficient, helpful and friendly The room was large with a pretty balcony with lovely views Very easy to walk to the beach and centre for restaurants, just be aware it's uphill on the way back!

Stayed 5 nights at liya boutique hotel. We were a late evening arrival. Emir from hotel messaged on day of arrival to check if we needed anything and made sure we were greeted. The hotel is perfectly located just a five minute stroll to beach and shops and is in traditional colonial style like all in area. Our room was well equipped and just right for 2 people. We had a little balcony that overlooked the front courtyard which was traditional stone with an abundance of flowers. Breakfasts were served here and were outstanding and truly a feast. Everything was freshly made with little differences every day, It was a joy to begin the day with this feast. What truly stands out about this hotel is the friendly and helpful management. Emir and ozzy were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble; from advice about the area, helping with trips, booking taxis ; making us a coffee anytime ! . They truly make you feel relaxed and greet every guest and ask after you. Would love to return there someday.

Despite only staying one night we were welcomed like long standing guests by the owner who could not do more for us during our short stay. From offering us a choice of room, to local recommendations, providing a lovely fresh Turkish breakfast and simple fast check out our stay far exceeded our expectations. The property is very quiet and safe and only a short 5-10 minute walk down to restaurants, the river cruise and beach. If you are looking for an authentic Turkish experience, a really helpful host and great value in Akyaka this is the place for you!
