Rye Motor Inn - Oceanfront, Walk to Beach

Cute motel, interior is really nice! Tasteful decorations, comfortable bed, and a nice kitchenette - all appreciated. Some odd things like the bedside sconces are not bright enough to read by, even when dimmer was put on full. Bath was out of conditioner and lotion, not a big deal. It is across from the ocean but you can’t see the ocean from the motel. Once you cross the rock barrier, it is a truly lovely beach. We cozied up with books and the sun this morning, explored the tidal pools - all so nice! Pool looked ready but it was padlocked closed so maybe not just yet. All in all we had a great stay.

Love the Retro Renovation decor and the proximity to some nice restaurants and things to do. Great place if you like exploring the outdoors and wildlife .. Clean rooms and great staff!!!

The Rye Motor Inn completely exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless, cozy, and designed with the kind of taste that makes you wonder why every hotel isn’t doing it like this. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the whole stay feel easy, peaceful, and safe. The location was perfect too, close enough to explore but quiet enough to actually relax. I left feeling grateful, refreshed, and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend.
