位置很好，旁邊就是7-11和老街，而且櫃檯就有賣便當。環境舒適，住日式客房還有送泡湯包。每天還有三個時段提供免費的旅遊導覽，下次去旅遊還會想再次入住。

看得出來重新裝修過，所以不太會有住到老旅社的古意感。淋浴水量充足，熱水夠熱，對於跋涉了一天的身體療癒很好。一人可蹲坐的檜木桶泡澡，男生會比較合用，畢竟它是很多遊客使用過。

Property was very cute & the bento lunch boxes were amazing. The only thing to note is that there is no elevator so if you are on the second floor, you have to carry your luggage up - staff did offer to help with this though :) Surrounding area is also beautiful, and an easy bus takes you to Alishan.

第一次去阿里里山玩，攻略沒有做好，發現住在奮起湖交通並不方便，一天大概只有一班車去阿里山，回程要趕在下午兩點多那班車才能回到奮起湖。撇開來往阿里山的不方便，奮起湖的環境還是不錯的。只是飯店環境有點殘舊，房間有霉味和斑點。而且飯店沒有提供洗衣服務，因為是夏天連續住兩個晚上的原因，沒有洗衣服真的挺不方便的。不過謝謝飯店超貼心的提供了小7現金劵跟浸浴藥包。

Excellent stay. Very interesting and clean room. Great value. Free guided tours to see fireflies and town exceptional. Would be nice to have a map of where to park around town. Parking is free but there is no place to park except for parking lots that the town has set up.

飯店本身很有特色，上去阿里山森林博物館觀看介紹阿里山影片時候，還會看到奮起湖大飯店創始人及晚上螢火蟲導覽員（應該是飯店創始人的女兒）接受訪問，很有歷史的一個地方。員工有一個年輕櫃檯男生，英文很流利及禮貌向外國客人介紹，感覺素質很高。不過奮起湖附近停車，及交通比較不清楚，希望可以做清楚標示。

Parking isn’t easy but it’s perfectly situated to explore the old street. Nice to stay here overnight to get some hours avoiding the hordes of tour bus groups that come through.

The bento that you can purchase was excellent. The hotel has different types of room that you can choose if available. We stayed in the Japanese room that has a soaking tub. The front desk recommended that you use it and provided two different types of bath soaks for you to use. It's interesting. You should shower before you soak, but bc the bathroom is slightly small, it was easy to get everything wet..

We hadden een aangenaam verblijf in dit hotel. Het is vlak aan het trein station, midden in het hart van Fenqihu. Het ontbijt is een bon van 100NTD per persoon voor de 7-11 vlak ernaast. De kamer is ruim, proper. Het Japans bad is leuk en je krijgt twee zakjes kruiden om te baden. De badkamer is wat afgeleefd, maar dat stoorde niet. De mensen aan het onthaal zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam en spreken vlot Engels. Ook kamer instructies zijn beschikbaar in het Engels.

Located in the hills of Alishan, this was a great little inn found in the historical village of Fenchihu. The room that we stayed has huge with Japanese tatami beds to stay. Make sure that you have a chance to enjoy the Fenchihu bento boxed meal when you stay there. The food is great!

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The bento which was sold in the hotel is very yummy! But the transport is not as convenient as I expected. Anyway I recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Alishan for a good break after a tired journey.

奮起湖駅も近く、老街に入口近くにあるので便利です。ここの奮起湖弁当は観光客に人気で、宿泊客には割引があります。阿里山まで急遽タクシーで行くことにしましたが、フロントに問い合わせるとすぐに手配してくれました。

De kamer is ruim, proper. Het Japans bad is leuk en je krijgt twee zakjes kruiden om te baden. De badkamer is wat afgeleefd, maar dat stoorde niet. De mensen aan het onthaal zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam en spreken vlot Engels. Ook kamer instructies zijn beschikbaar in het Engels.

Excellent stay. Very interesting and clean room. Great value. Free guided tours to see fireflies and town exceptional. Would be nice to have a map of where to park around town. Parking is free but there is no place to park except for parking lots that the town has set up.

飯店本身很有特色，上去阿里山森林博物館觀看介紹阿里山影片時候，還會看到奮起湖大飯店創始人及晚上螢火蟲導覽員（應該是飯店創始人的女兒）接受訪問，很有歷史的一個地方。員工有一個年輕櫃檯男生，英文很流利及禮貌向外國客人介紹，感覺素質很高。不過奮起湖附近停車，及交通比較不清楚，希望可以做清楚標示。

Property was very cute & the bento lunch boxes were amazing. The only thing to note is that there is no elevator so if you are on the second floor, you have to carry your luggage up - staff did offer to help with this though :) Surrounding area is also beautiful, and an easy bus takes you to Alishan.

第一次去阿里里山玩，攻略沒有做好，發現住在奮起湖交通並不方便，一天大概只有一班車去阿里山，回程要趕在下午兩點多那班車才能回到奮起湖。撇開來往阿里山的不方便，奮起湖的環境還是不錯的。只是飯店環境有點殘舊，房間有霉味和斑點。而且飯店沒有提供洗衣服務，因為是夏天連續住兩個晚上的原因，沒有洗衣服真的挺不方便的。不過謝謝飯店超貼心的提供了小7現金劵跟浸浴藥包。

Located in the hills of Alishan, this was a great little inn found in the historical village of Fenchihu. The room that we stayed has huge with Japanese tatami beds to stay. Make sure that you have a chance to enjoy the Fenchihu bento boxed meal when you stay there. The food is great!

Parking isn’t easy but it’s perfectly situated to explore the old street. Nice to stay here overnight to get some hours avoiding the hordes of tour bus groups that come through.

The bento that you can purchase was excellent. The hotel has different types of room that you can choose if available. We stayed in the Japanese room that has a soaking tub. The front desk recommended that you use it and provided two different types of bath soaks for you to use. It's interesting. You should shower before you soak, but bc the bathroom is slightly small, it was easy to get everything wet..

The staffs are very helpful and friendly. The bento which was sold in the hotel is very yummy! But the transport is not as convenient as I expected. Anyway I recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to stay in Alishan for a good break after a tired journey.

Very helpful and accommodating staff. Our room was the Japanese style mats. If you want a big bed watch if it is labeled Japanese style. It is right in the middle of the shops and eating area. It was very quite.

There was a night firefly walk included and guided hikes as well. The staff was great and spoke English well, but also spoke about us in Mandarin not knowing we also understood. Only mentioning that they were surprised we would show up in Taiwan with such a horrible president. While we agree about the horrible president part, it was still a bit rude. The room had a rustic feel, and we were able to have the cool mountain air come in the windows when it wasn’t raining too hard. Hard rain made the window sill and floor wet. We came during June, and didn’t need any AC. Great location. Watch for leeches if you hike in the forest during rainy season. We found out they sneak on to you from the under brush. Breakfast was 7-11 vouchers, but we would have rather had the money so we could spend it locally on the people. We found a great onion egg pancake just down the street when we ran out and of vouchers. We would stay here again

Fenchihu Hotel was perfect for our overnight to Alishan. The staff was excellent and very helpful. They went above and beyond to make sure we had proper arrangements to see the Alishan Sunrise and even helped us coordinate our trip to Sun Moon Lake. We loved it!
