Rycerska - Stone Steps Apartments

The location of this apartment is unbeatable, right in the old town, steps away from the Market square, the Barbican, all nice restaurants and historic places. Having a good working washing machine in your unit is a plus, the place was excellent cleaning but my not perfect score is because they left a dirty sponge for the kitchen and also the beddings ,there was some extra pillows in the closet but we didnt use them because they were stinky and look dirty. We had no issues because the weather was cold in the nights, but this place has AC, it is a fan that we didnt need to use it.so, summer time i bet you it is very hot. We stayed 2 days so it was perfect for us, we didnt cook so i canno attest how the other appliances work but the washer did a good job, although no laundry detergent was in the house, we had to go and purchase a little bag in the corner store. Finding the place was a little challenging because we artive when it was dark and although instructions were great, it is alittle confusing, we found a person who helped us figuring the place but I think is because the layout of the complex is a very old, hisoric place that gives you worries when you see it at night and first time but once you see the apartment it is very different story, well lit, spacious and newly renovated. I would recomend if you want a comfortable place near the amenities and easy for exploring., a longer stay you may need to request clean and more beddings.

The home was in a beautiful and quite convent place. But the address given on Expedia was incorrect, which made booking Uber a but challenging. The owner, whom you meet to obtain access does not speak English, only Polish. Never an issue, just have your translator app up and ready to use. The following were the two biggest challenges I faced with this unit. First off, based upon the pictures, there appears to be TWO units you could be assigned. Second, In the listing on Expedia, it says cash or credit card is accepted and taken at time of checkin. In reality, they want cash only. Their credit card machine did not work, so ended up following the person whom we met for check in to a cash machine in Old Warsaw to obtain cash. Third, the listing at the time of my booking, which I did screenshot, said they had laundry facilities and a dryer. Their "dryer" was not part of the washing machine as a 2 in 1 which is quite common in Europe, but was a literal drying rack. You will need to hang up your wet clothes in the bedroom closet and use the fan provided for hours to dry your clothes. It was very frustrating. Communication was a bit of a challenge, which is why I gave this listing 4 stars.

Room wasn't in quality shape. Shower was funky and soap was watered down. Great location and plenty of room. Wouldn't stay there again.

Beautiful apartment, clean and close to the shopping area!! Would highly recommend.
