The parking situation is not great. You are charged $15 per day for parking in the garage but event patrons only have to pay $5. That is the only con. EVERYTHING else is WONDERFUL!

We always stay here when we come to town for a concert at Propst Arena or Mars Music Hall. Always friendly service and clean rooms and the convenience of the location can't be beat. The bar is almost always closed by the time the shows let out, but they have a nice pantry if you need something late. Never have any complaints when we stay!

We stayed overnight for a concert at Propst Arena. Easy walk after concert and hotel seemed very secure since you needed your room key to enter and use the elevator. Staff was great, even though they were pretty busy. We were missing pillows for the pull-out couch, but we requested from the front desk while we had a few drinks at the hotel bar. They were in our room when we returned. I will say the pull-out couch does not appear to be a queen as advertised. More like a full.

Check In was easy, only thing that was a slight inconvenience was the parking. Had to pay $15/night to park in the parking garage when the parking cost for anyone else is only $5. That to me was ridiculous.

We really enjoyed the ease of walking around the downtown area and convention center from out hotel. The parking garage was easy to get to. Most of all it was clean.

I was not expecting this stay to be so immaculate and comfortable. For the price, this hotel is in such a good spot, with easy access to the nearby music venues and dining options. It looks like a brand new hotel. Our room was perfectly clean and smelled fantastic, and for the first time ever, I used the hotel-provided toiletries. The shampoo and body wash smell so nice to me! The hallways, elevator, and lobby are all equally as clean and well-kept. There were various options for the complimentary breakfast items. Also, kudos to the staff. Everyone was kind and made eye contact and greeted me, even in passing. When checking in, I was asked my room preferences (which floor, near elevator, etc), and this made me feel like royalty. I loved our room on the 6th floor, number 618 is super quiet with no neighboring headboards. The layout of the room keeps light out of your eyes when the sun tries peeking around the blackout curtains. I wish I could list every single thoughtful detail, but there are so many! Cons: I do wish we had more "vending" options. The canned Cokes were $2 each in the lobby shop. And there was a $50 deposit that I wasn't expecting, along with having to pay the hotel $15 to park in the garage. There were no other parking options nearby. However, I would happily stay here again, and probably will soon. It was our first leisure trip to Huntsville and we were both impressed with the Hampton that we kind of can't wait to come back!

The bathroom was dirty, the tv had a crack down the middle of the screen, the hotel lied about parking cost and charged me after checking out and gave me a hard time checking in with the card I used to book the rooms. They didn’t explain parking garage or amenities to me upon check in and treated me like second class. For the price of the hotel rooms I could have at least gotten a clean bathroom with a tv that worked. Worst experience at this brand hotel.

I can only give this hotel 3 stars. The hotel and staff were terrific. But at the end of the day, I got the hotel room to sleep. The mattresses were torture devices and the pillows and the pillows collapsed completely flat the moment my head hit them. My entire body hurt each morning. The hotel needs to look into a change.

I was really happy with my stay. Check in was very easy. The woman at the front desk and the bartender were very friendly. The room was clean and seemed newly renovated. The bathroom had nice amenities, including sulfate free and paraben free shampoo and conditioner! The room was also really spacious! The A/C was rather loud, and had a hard time keeping the room cold. I like my room at 68 degrees usually. Probably because it had been a hot day and the room was so big. That was really my only complaint.

The hotel was very clean and the room was perfect! However, the road noise and the frequent trains were very bothersome. Breakfast was ok. The hot food was not good at all, but prepackaged stuff was fine. The location was convenient and beds were very comfy!

Great location, great staff, rooms very clean and well stocked. Loved the ability to manage the AC temp as I have hot flashes at night and need the room cold. The only negative that was unfortunately a major one was the pillows. Maybe we got unlucky, but they were the worst pillows we've ever had to try to sleep on. It meant that we both were up and down al night. Other than that, it was great!

Not only is the hotel relatively new and clean, the real five-stars are the staff. From Jamal at check-in to the breakfast coordinators and housekeeping staff, the welcome is genuine. It's been a long time since I've experienced a stay away from home worth writing about, but the people definitely shined at the downtown Hampton Inn and Suites. Thank you for investing in terrific people.

It was perfect for attending an event at the Von Braun. We were able to walk over. It was very clean, and the rooms had adequate space. It's my first "newer" construction hotel, but I was impressed by the rooms that had a "doorbell" for the visually impaired guests. The only thing I would improve would be adding a milk alternative and maybe a vegetarian breakfast meat alternative. But I LOVED the strawberry Belgian waffles.

the staff was friendly. the hotel was exceptionally clean. breakfast was good with hot options like waffles, eggs, sausage, grits. they also had cereal, yogurt, muffins and croissants. the Community Coffee machine was nice so you had more options than just black coffee. the man working the breakfast was very friendly. housekeeping came by daily to take trash and bring clean towels.
