Room was ok; housekeeping cleaned every day, even when it wasn’t needed (no “do not disturb” door hanger); several towels were stained. No one in the office unless you ring the bell. The pool has been out of service for years which makes the property look run down.

The property is old and the listing needs to be updated and remove that it has a pool and playground. Neither are usable and haven’t been for at least a decade. We picked this place because we thought it had both. It’s false advertising and won’t use Expedia anymore to book for this reason. They are responsible for the advertising and making sure it fits the description .the room was very tiny too and tv had 5 channels.

The hotel is rather dated. Not the most visually appealing, and the pool is non-functional, as well as the laundry room. But it is a short drive away from shops and restaurants. Good for an overnight or 2 day stay and cheaper than most motels in the area.

Blue screen tv, stained chairs (looks like someone took a dump on them). Ok for a 1 night stay but not a weekly stay for Brimfield. Needs alot of upgrades. Site says has a pool. It has one but hasn't been used in years with all its weeds growing in them.

We had a balcony to sit out on which was very nice. Room very nice and clean. We didn't have a coffee maker and they were happy to get us one right away. The swimming pool was wrecked so we couldn't use that but hopefully they will get it fixed.

An older traditional motel. Kind of a throwback. Very Clean. TV and remote worked. Bathroom was spotless. One end table lamp needed needed a new light bulb but I was too tired to care. Everything else worked fine. Room was spacious. Owner/Staff was most accommodating and friendly. Price was right. Would stay there again.

This is without a doubt the dirtiest motel I've ever seen. I complained, got moved to an even dirtier room. I ate the cost and stayed somewhere else after one night out of 3 booked. DO NOT STAY HERE. This place should be removed as an option on this site. Literally mouse poop in the blankets. Every single porous object in both rooms is stained

Room was not clean, hair around the sink, and on floor in bathroom, hair dryer did not work, water tray full under freezer in refrigerator, bedspreads stained and blood on one of them. Carpet not vacuumed, found tie pin between beds. We stayed here once for the past 3 years because of the price, staff very accommodating but sorry to say will not stay here again.

There was a used / unused needle in the room I stayed in 💀. Right next to the Bible in the room and my room never got cleaned/ my pillows has stains on them. (we stayed Fri-Sunday and our room never got cleaned) Kinda weird but you get what you paid for I suppose. ( I also took photos idk if I can upload them but if I can I will)

We found ourselves suddenly without reservations & not only were these people accommodating but also let us check in early since we got rained out with no place to go for several hours until check-in time. Room was immaculate, comfortable, & quiet. Felt more like being home than on the road for work. Will definately stay here any time we're in this area (actually already booked again) DEFINATRLY BETTER THAN The local chain hotel that we usually use! They on the other hand DID NOT get a good review!!!

Room itself was older but clean. The bathroom was deplorable - mold, drippy broken sink, poor shower water pressure (sink and tub were fine), hairdryer falling off the wall. A little elbow grease and small updates would make this a very nice inexpensive motel very close to Sturbridge attractions.

We received a room with no heat. There was no thermostat in the room to even change it and it was 49 degrees outside!! It was the only room available so we had no choice but to stay and be cold. The hot water in the shower went in and out, the Wi-Fi did not work at all and there was NO SERVICE at all, there were dead bugs on the carpet, the microwave looked like it was 1970, there were terrible stains on the furniture, and the towels were dirty and torn. Other than all of that, the bed was comfy and seemed clean, the toilet worked, the man at the front desk was very friendly and helpful, and it got us through the night, but WAY overpriced for what we got. Very disappointed.

The room smelt absolutely horrible walking into the room for the first time. Smelt like no one had entered that room in a long time for the air to smell that bad. The curtains were dusty. We didn’t even want to image what the bedding was like to sleep in so we went out and bought our own sheets and blankets. There were stains on all the towels and sheets. The room was described online with a KING sized bed and we were given barely a full sized bed. I would not recommend. Horrible nights sleep.

Fowl smell when entered the room. Had to leave the door open for an hour to let the fresh air in. Bathroom is hige compared to other motels. Beds are very comfortable. Surprised. Its ok to stay for a day or two.

Front desk was good at check in. The room was tight. Everything was unplugged. Beds were hard. Outlet in bathroom did not work. Table was wobbly. Fridge smelled. There were stains on the walls. Unable to get regular TV stations. Served its purpose. Was a place to sleep in between long trips of taking son to school in Maine and returning back home. Very very basic- affordable though on a holiday weekend.

WiFi often craps out, hot water faucet was not working, you had to manually drain the bathtub after showering by holding the knob, towels looked quite used and discolored, pillow case also discolored.

The place could be way better if property was actually taken care of. But cheapest around so you get what you pay for. Just one main issue. Fix your WiFi. Pretty much useless to be listed as a perk of your stay to offer WiFi that is garbage.

One of rooms had a dehumidifier running , it was so loud we had to turn it off. The bathrrom had holes is wall and the door wouldn't close the whole way. Bathrrom was in desperate need of paint. The guy who checked us in was nice but was also on a personal call while doing so. No one was around when we were checking out. The box forvthe room keys was overflowing.

Very satisfied, especially since the room was so reasonably priced. I found the bed and rom temperature to be comfortable. The Spectrum cable box didn’t function, it wasn’t an issue for me and I didn’t bring it to the attention of the management (room 244).

They robbed me. Didnt allow me to ch3ck in but kept my money. Used my 1 yr old and 2 yr old as justification. Very dishonest rude people. I feel they never had an intention of providing a room just scamming me.

The owner was great. He held me get my things into my room at check-in and assisted me when I checked out. Everything in the room was great. The bed was comfortable. There was a microwave, refrigerator and a table with 2 chairs. I had everything that I needed. The room is outdated but, that doesn't affect one's stay. The room was quiet. The hotel is very close to everything

The hotel is rather dated. Not the most visually appealing, and the pool is non-functional, as well as the laundry room. But it is a short drive away from shops and restaurants. Good for an overnight or 2 day stay and cheaper than most motels in the area.

Our stay at the Economy Lodge was good. The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. It was also very quiet for sleeping. My only negative comment was there were no instructions in the room to get the Tv to work and they never gave us the password for wifi.

Hotel was fairly clean, but needs a deep cleaning. Bed very comfortable. No breakfast, but coffee pot in room. Nice inexpensive hotel.

We had a balcony to sit out on which was very nice. Room very nice and clean. We didn't have a coffee maker and they were happy to get us one right away. The swimming pool was wrecked so we couldn't use that but hopefully they will get it fixed.

It was ok. Paid 81$ but i was expecting a pool because this cite told me it had one. No breakfast. The haunted house next door was neat.

If I could give this negative stars I would!! I booked this through Hotels.com which is always amazing. I had to call them to complain about our room, as well as the establishment. Kurt from hotels.com contacted the front desk was while I was on hold & they were extremely rude to him. Wouldn’t give their name nor speak with him. Said they would speak with us directly & were just as rude to us!! Came into the room & shot down every complaint we had plus told us we should be thankful we had a bed to sleep in. I mean really?? The room smelled terrible & there was some kind of spray to camouflage it. Stains all over carpet, hair in sink & shower. Granted the room was not modern, but it didn’t need to be in order to keep it clean. The pictures online did not match the actual room by far. Would 100% not recommend this to anyone and if I were the owners or even the manager I would look to hire new front desk help. A paying customer should not be spoken to or treated the way we were. They would not cancel our reservation or refund us so we could find a different place to stay, so we sucked it up and stayed the one night BUT we did it begrudgingly!!

Our room was clean and quiet, staff friendly and the grounds well kept. For an economy stay we are quite happy with this place. Being just outside of Sturbridge, we escape the heavy traffic yet its close to all Sturbridge has to offer.

For check in we had to wait for staff to come from downstairs. The room had only small lights on the celling and one lamp. Poor lighting so you couldn't read. One of the pillowcases had stains on it and so did one bedspread. Only 2 wash clothes for 3 people and one was stained with something, and one towel was stained too. The mattresses were like concrete, and the pillows were so flat you had to double it up to get any kind of support. When we went to check out the doors were locked and we had to leave the key in the drop box. Thank goodness it was only one night's stay. Would not recommend this place at all.
