The receptionists took great care of us and accommodated our late arrival. Got us a pack n' play, and goodies for smores. The suite was HUGE and glamorous and romantic. Perfect for our family and private enough to still feel like I am getting away from the kiddos. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Newport, OR. Reasonably priced and you get way more than you pay for!

Property did have a nice view but it was out the side windows. Could not get to the beach because of a stream flowing between the property and the beach. The master bedroom was a great space in the downstairs of the apartment but it didn't have a door. The outdoor deck and fireplace looked amazing and I wish we had time to spend there. Otherwise it was a nice apartment.

Exceptional place to stay on our beautiful Oregon coast. Easy to find, personal service. I LOVED the small business feel… we felt catered to. The grounds are beautiful and I love that they make a bonfire every night. WONDERFUL place to stay. Our new go to spot!

Pros: Beautiful place, large space, Ocean view was superb. Beach amazing! Fully stocked kitchen. Easy check in. Beds and linens, towels all great quality and comfortable. Beautiful furniture and spa tub was wonderful. Cons: No breakfast options, no first aid kit, used tooth flossers and food debris found inside hideabed when pulled out. Ceiling leaked on bottom floor when used spa tub upstairs, told the owners and they accused us of neglectful use, and woman was rude and aggressive with communication. Leaks were obviously a repeat issue but she was acting as if she was going to sue us and accusing us of overflowing tub which we didn't. Luckily we took pictures and the gentleman, her husband was civil and realistic and felt carpet around tub and felt it was dry. Was an unfortunate mood killer at check out when we were just trying to tell them about issues with the tub seal issues so that it didn't continue. Horrible customer service experience. Was too bad because we had planned to book for a week each year in the future and now not sure if we feel welcome. Overall, a gorgeous property and had a wonderful time otherwise.

Very rude owner/management. Will not be coming back to this place.Very dirty like they dont clean between visitors. Needs paint terribly bad and carpets are black and smell like old cleaner. Might as well sleep on the floor instead of the bed. This place was so nice back in the day. Now its way outdated and filthy. Not sure what changed over the past 10 years? But this place sucks!

Starfish is one of the best places on the Oregon coast. Ocean views are spectacular. It’s a very special place! Everyone is very welcoming and we’ll be back The only critique I have that the dining room in our unit had a very strong itinerary smell, I could tell they had cleaned it but the smell is still there. Hopefully they can replace the carpet there.

Pros: Beautiful place, large space, Ocean view was superb. Beach amazing! Fully stocked kitchen. Easy check in. Beds and linens, towels all great quality and comfortable. Beautiful furniture and spa tub was wonderful. Cons: No breakfast options, no first aid kit, used tooth flossers and food debris found inside hideabed when pulled out. Ceiling leaked on bottom floor when used spa tub upstairs, told the owners and they accused us of neglectful use, and woman was rude and aggressive with communication. Leaks were obviously a repeat issue but she was acting as if she was going to sue us and accusing us of overflowing tub which we didn't. Luckily we took pictures and the gentleman, her husband was civil and realistic and felt carpet around tub and felt it was dry. Was an unfortunate mood killer at check out when we were just trying to tell them about issues with the tub seal issues so that it didn't continue. Horrible customer service experience. Was too bad because we had planned to book for a week each year in the future and now not sure if we feel welcome. Overall, a gorgeous property and had a wonderful time otherwise.

Property did have a nice view but it was out the side windows. Could not get to the beach because of a stream flowing between the property and the beach. The master bedroom was a great space in the downstairs of the apartment but it didn't have a door. The outdoor deck and fireplace looked amazing and I wish we had time to spend there. Otherwise it was a nice apartment.

Exceptional place to stay on our beautiful Oregon coast. Easy to find, personal service. I LOVED the small business feel… we felt catered to. The grounds are beautiful and I love that they make a bonfire every night. WONDERFUL place to stay. Our new go to spot!

There can likely be no finer view of the Oregon coast, then is available at this property. We were amazed and opted to eat in our room rather than go out just because the view was so fantastic. The owners are charming and extremely helpful. The nighttime fire with s’mores is an added bonus.

One of the most beautiful spot to be on the Oregon coast. We were greeted warmly and found the place to be very comfortable and enjoyed the well stocked kitchen. They have a lot of movies and toys to enjoy which my daughter loved and they also have a communal pantry so you don't have to buy oil or salt and pepper or rather miscellaneous things at the store just for one meal. We will definitely return again and make it more than one night next time.
