Great place and amazing value for the price! Seemed very new, very well-decorated, comfortable bed, great heat/ac system, great shower, fridge, storage. Rooftop deck has great Acropolis views and is pleasant to work from. Excellent housekeeping -- both the rooms and building were immaculate. Very friendly and nice front desk service. Only significant issue was that the cheap TV didn't work and neither myself or the front desk could solve it. Also there were no hangers in the wardrobe. Building and room is entered by code. I think they were understaffed for front desk as the same very nice woman was working for what seemed to be 15-18 hours. A 2-3 minute walk from the M2. Quick walk to the main tourist areas, but the most direct route will take you through some surprisingly run-down blocks for such a central location.

Iasonos Suites boten uns ein geräumiges Zimmer. Das Bad, insbesondere die Dusche waren super, alles pikobello sauber. Jeden Tag fanden wir frisches Wasser im Kühlschrank und neue Kaffeekapseln neben der Maschine. Die Atmosphäre ist unpersönlich, Checkin erfolgt über Zugangscodes und elektronische Türschlösser. Bei der Gestaltung der Lobby bekommt man das Gefühl, das Hotel möchte in seiner Umgebung nicht auffallen, die Lobby ist dunkel und unpersönlich. Das Hotel liegt zentral (20 Gehminuten in die Altstadt) und verkehrsgünstig (vier Minuten zur Metro) in einer offenbar wenig angesagten Gegend. Wir konnten in den sehr guten Betten sehr gut schlafen, auch wenn die Lärmdämmung der Fenster nur mittelmäßig ist und einiges vom durchaus vorhandenen Verkehrslärm (einschließlich eines mitten in Athen krähenden Hahns!) durchlässt. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist auch das Frühstück, das nach Onlinevorbestellung zur gewünschten Uhrzeit von einem Lieferdienst auf das Zimmer gebracht wird. Die Qualität ist ok, jedoch wurde jedes Mal etwas vergessen, auch die Nachlieferungen waren fehlerhaft. Außerdem fällt viel vermeidbarer Verpackungsmüll an. Ich würde beim nächsten Mal ohne Frühstück buchen und in einer der benachbarten Bäckereien frühstücken gehen. Fantastisch ist die Dachterrasse mit direktem Blick auf die abends beleuchtete Akropolis. Drinks muss man sich mitbringen, verständlicherweise lohnt sich bei diesem kleinen Hotel kein Barbetrieb auf der Dachterrasse.

Excellent staff. Neighborhood was noisy with loud traffic, but the facility was in excellent condition. The rooftop patio with view of the Acropolis a mile away was a bonus. The Hop On Hop Off tour buses have a stop just a block away, and taxi service is easy to find if you want to get to the airport using the X95 bus from Syntagma Station. Room doors are robust and very securely locked. Large sliding windows. Mironi restaurant nearby was excellent, too. Traffic noise subsided later in the evening.

In the description for this hotel, they talked about the rooftop bar. There’s a rooftop, but there’s no bar. It was very hard catching a cab from that area. We had to go to another hotel and get them to call us a cab. There was no ice machine. The staff was very helpful.

The Room was big and the amenities were great. Some of the staff is very nice; others not that much. The rooftop terrace is totally unused. It could be a great place to enjoy some drinks as the view from the rooftop is amazing.

The neighborhood it’s in can seem transitional and certain blocks in the area a little suss. It’s absolutely in the middle of the “red light district”, so if that bothers you, don’t stay here. The “safeness” changes by the block, so many areas were well busy. The hotel is off a big well lit high road, 24 hour bread factory close, other hotels, restaurants, and metro. Hotel isn’t staffed on site, but it was easy to get in using our digital codes. The room was clean, modern, comfy, and has all the amenities you need. The shower was a wonderful experience between the pressure and body sprays. The view from the roof was amazing, would stay here again. Great price for the space!

This has to be one of the best apartment type boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed. Not only is the price reasonable, within a short distance from the Acropolis, this boutique hotel is brand new purposed built for Airbnb type accommodation. All the furniture are brand new, the room is humongous, and there is a rooftop bar that is out of this world. Enjoying my coffee and breakfast at the chic rooftop within sight of the Acrpolis has to be one of my best travel experience. Highly recommended.

if you are expecting a hotel or suites you should think again. The reception staff (when theyare there) and the cleaning team are very friendly, What you get is a well-cleaned room and large bathroom. There are no other facilities in the accommodation. There is no food or beverages - other than water supplied and 1 pod of coffee per day for the coffee machine.

Wonderful rooftop terrace with view of Parthenon. Places to eat nearby (Bread Factory is delicious!) Hotel was clean, showers were very nice, big room. Air conditioner isn't the best, but works. It's right next to a sports bar so it can get loud. We felt the area was safe for our family.

Ikke la deg lure av nabolaget, dette er et bra sted å sove. Litt å utsette på manglende funksjonalitet på dusjen men et flott og meget rent rom. Kort vei til undergrunnen med en kort reise til de viktigste attraksjonene i Athen.

Very happy with our stay at Iosonos Suites. The reception staff were easy to deal with and very accommodating. The building itself is well kept, clean, and in great condition. The room was comfortable and spacious enough. Compared to other properties I saw, this represented very good value. My only issue was we stayed in an "_04" room which was next to the main road so we heard alot of the road noise. My partner & I are both good sleepers so this didn't bother us, but may be an issue for people who struggle with noise. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Overall a very nice hotel! You get a TV with Youtube and netflix, a coffee mashine and a small fridge. The bathroom is quite comfortable and clean. The staff is nice too! Only problem is noise of nearby traffic during theb night. Some homelesa people around the area are there too but didn't border us.

Great place and amazing value for the price! Seemed very new, very well-decorated, comfortable bed, great heat/ac system, great shower, fridge, storage. Rooftop deck has great Acropolis views and is pleasant to work from. Excellent housekeeping -- both the rooms and building were immaculate. Very friendly and nice front desk service. Only significant issue was that the cheap TV didn't work and neither myself or the front desk could solve it. Also there were no hangers in the wardrobe. Building and room is entered by code. I think they were understaffed for front desk as the same very nice woman was working for what seemed to be 15-18 hours. A 2-3 minute walk from the M2. Quick walk to the main tourist areas, but the most direct route will take you through some surprisingly run-down blocks for such a central location.

Iasonos Suites boten uns ein geräumiges Zimmer. Das Bad, insbesondere die Dusche waren super, alles pikobello sauber. Jeden Tag fanden wir frisches Wasser im Kühlschrank und neue Kaffeekapseln neben der Maschine. Die Atmosphäre ist unpersönlich, Checkin erfolgt über Zugangscodes und elektronische Türschlösser. Bei der Gestaltung der Lobby bekommt man das Gefühl, das Hotel möchte in seiner Umgebung nicht auffallen, die Lobby ist dunkel und unpersönlich. Das Hotel liegt zentral (20 Gehminuten in die Altstadt) und verkehrsgünstig (vier Minuten zur Metro) in einer offenbar wenig angesagten Gegend. Wir konnten in den sehr guten Betten sehr gut schlafen, auch wenn die Lärmdämmung der Fenster nur mittelmäßig ist und einiges vom durchaus vorhandenen Verkehrslärm (einschließlich eines mitten in Athen krähenden Hahns!) durchlässt. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist auch das Frühstück, das nach Onlinevorbestellung zur gewünschten Uhrzeit von einem Lieferdienst auf das Zimmer gebracht wird. Die Qualität ist ok, jedoch wurde jedes Mal etwas vergessen, auch die Nachlieferungen waren fehlerhaft. Außerdem fällt viel vermeidbarer Verpackungsmüll an. Ich würde beim nächsten Mal ohne Frühstück buchen und in einer der benachbarten Bäckereien frühstücken gehen. Fantastisch ist die Dachterrasse mit direktem Blick auf die abends beleuchtete Akropolis. The parking situation is abysmal. The shower going in and out you hit your head on the door frame. None the plugs in the room for power. It was very loud inside and I will never ever ever ever go in there again.

Very happy with our stay at Iosonos Suites. The reception staff were easy to deal with and very accommodating. The building itself is well kept, clean, and in great condition. The room was comfortable and spacious enough. Compared to other properties I saw, this represented very good value. My only issue was we stayed in an "_04" room which was next to the main road so we heard alot of the road noise. My partner & I are both good sleepers so this didn't bother us, but may be an issue for people who struggle with noise. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

Overall a very nice hotel! You get a TV with Youtube and netflix, a coffee mashine and a small fridge. The bathroom is quite comfortable and clean. The staff is nice too! Only problem is noise of nearby traffic during theb night. Some homelesa people around the area are there too but didn't border us.

Wonderful rooftop terrace with view of Parthenon. Places to eat nearby (Bread Factory is delicious!) Hotel was clean, showers were very nice, big room. Air conditioner isn't the best, but works. It's right next to a sports bar so it can get loud. We felt the area was safe for our family.

I advised the Lasonos that I would be checking in after midnight my first day. The hotel does not have a staff that late however they sent me an email with a code for the front door and a code for my room number which was super easy to enter and get to my room. The next day I met Enxhi at the front desk. She was very friendly and was helpful with directions I asked about. On my last day when I checked out without asking she was kind enough to offer to hold my luggage if I was going to explore the city some more which I did. I also met Hlias during my stay and he was also very friendly. The room was modern and very clean. The location is a block and a half from the Hop On Hop Off Bus stop. There are several restaurants within walking distance from the hotel, many also within a block and a half. The hotel sits about 50 steps in a alley / street from the main street. I may appear questionable at first glance however I felt no danger. There is a small restaurant directly across from the hotel maybe 15 steps where locals gather. I got a few stares but after two days of eating and drinking beer there I made many of them smiling. The food was homemade and very tasty. It's not on the menu everyday and if it is the Moussaka is delicious. I was in Athens to explore for a few days before boarding my Norwegian cruise. The hotel is a clean comfortable economic no frills hotel in a perfect location to get around and explore Athens if you intend to catch a cruise.

BE AWARE, Don’t stay here. 24/7 front desk doesn’t exist. I arrived at 2 pm and no one was there to let me in. A guest finally let me in. There was only a non-English speaking, Cleaning Lady who showed up after a while. And showed me to my room. For two days, I had nobody who spoke English. I wasn’t even given the code to open front door or to access my room. I paid for the most expensive room with a view. My reservations was for three days. I asked to cancel my reservation and they did not agree. On second day manager and a nice receptionist showed up both speak spoke English. And admit it that everything was wrong and promised to make it up to me. So I trusted them and asked for a partial refund. They said they will make it up to me and all they did was give me a ride to the airport on the third day when I was checking out. I was under the impression that they giving me some sort of refund for the high rate that I paid and what I received, but of course they didn’t do anything NO BREAKFAST Available, nothing at all. Walk to Acropolis LIE. Need to take metro and go 3 stations. I literally had to go next-door to the mechanic shop to even ask how to get to the Metro. Not knowing if it was even safe for me to walk around the area. But I finally managed to find some food and Metro ROOF GARDEN that I was excited about was a mess. Hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. They cleaned it a bit while I was there. my first vacation in Athens was completely ruined.

Excellent staff. Neighborhood was noisy with loud traffic, but the facility was in excellent condition. The rooftop patio with view of the Acropolis a mile away was a bonus. The Hop On Hop Off tour buses have a stop just a block away, and taxi service is easy to find if you want to get to the airport using the X95 bus from Syntagma Station. Room doors are robust and very securely locked. Large sliding windows. Mironi restaurant nearby was excellent, too. Traffic noise subsided later in the evening.

Utmerket rom og svært gode fasiliteter. Jeg satte spesielt pris på frokosten som kunne bestilles til rommet – den var både praktisk og veldig god. Selve hotellet holder høy standard og har en rolig, fin atmosfære innendørs. Lokasjonen er sentral og praktisk, men gaten hotellet ligger i oppleves dessverre som lite trivelig, med en del narkotikatrafikk og prostitusjon i området. Dette ligger helt utenfor hotellets kontroll, og inne på hotellet følte jeg meg trygg og ivaretatt. Alt i alt et veldig bra opphold, med et hotell som leverer på service og kvalitet, til tross for utfordringer i nærområdet.

Some other reviews have mentioned it is in a seedy neighbourhood, only if you went looking for it. The Suites are ultra clean, modern and safe. Added bonus's are many lovely bars, cafe's, and the hop on hop off bus is just across the road.

Bei der Gestaltung der Lobby bekommt man das Gefühl, das Hotel möchte in seiner Umgebung nicht auffallen, die Lobby ist dunkel und unpersönlich. Das Hotel liegt zentral (20 Gehminuten in die Altstadt) und verkehrsgünstig (vier Minuten zur Metro) in einer offenbar wenig angesagten Gegend. Wir konnten in den sehr guten Betten sehr gut schlafen, auch wenn die Lärmdämmung der Fenster nur mittelmäßig ist und einiges vom durchaus vorhandenen Verkehrslärm (einschließlich eines mitten in Athen krähenden Hahns!) durchlässt. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist auch das Frühstück, das nach Onlinevorbestellung zur gewünschten Uhrzeit von einem Lieferdienst auf das Zimmer gebracht wird. Die Qualität ist ok, jedoch wurde jedes Mal etwas vergessen, auch die Nachlieferungen waren fehlerhaft. Außerdem fällt viel vermeidbarer Verpackungsmüll an. Ich würde beim nächsten Mal ohne Frühstück buchen und in einer der benachbarten Bäckereien frühstücken gehen. Fantastisch ist die Dachterrasse mit direktem Blick auf die abends beleuchtete Akropolis. Drinks muss man sich mitbringen, verständlicherweise lohnt sich bei diesem kleinen Hotel kein Barbetrieb auf der Dachterrasse.

This is not a hotel with a restaurant,it is a hotel with large rooms ,fridge,free coffee/tea,electric kettle,coffee maker ,complentary water,free wi fi.Key code to enter building and code to enter room.2 Minute walk to metro station with a tour bus pick up ,one stop to Larissa railway station.Link in room to order food.Recommend definitely.A lot of graffiti in Athens which one mightn think area is undesirable but it just part of Athens.You will see some homeless/druggies but no problems.

The Team and the Property are absolutely lovely Getting your Breakfast delivered to your room is next level Awesome We got a text every night reminding us to order our breakfast for the next day, with a link to choices. Didn’t get the upgrade bottle of wine, not that bothered because the rest was fantastic. The Rooster on the roof a few doors away wasn’t great, but definitely different Everyone had a smile and was happy to talk to us, really nice people and great service

Utmerket rom og svært gode fasiliteter. Jeg satte spesielt pris på frokosten som kunne bestilles til rommet – den var både praktisk og veldig god. Selve hotellet holder høy standard og har en rolig, fin atmosfære innendørs. Lokasjonen er sentral og praktisk, men gaten hotellet ligger i oppleves dessverre som lite trivelig, med en del narkotikatrafikk og prostitusjon i området. Dette ligger helt utenfor hotellets kontroll, og inne på hotellet følte jeg meg trygg og ivaretatt. Alt i alt et veldig bra opphold, med et hotell som leverer på service og kvalitet, til tross for utfordringer i nærområdet.

BE AWARE, Don’t stay here. 24/7 front desk doesn’t exist. I arrived at 2 pm and no one was there to let me in. A guest finally let me in. There was only a non-English speaking, Cleaning Lady who showed up after a while. And showed me to my room. For two days, I had nobody who spoke English. I wasn’t even given the code to open front door or to access my room. I paid for the most expensive room with a view. My reservations was for three days. I asked to cancel my reservation and they did not agree. On second day manager and a nice receptionist showed up both speak spoke English. And admit it that everything was wrong and promised to make it up to me. So I trusted them and asked for a partial refund. They said they will make it up to me and all they did was give me a ride to the airport on the third day when I was checking out. I was under the impression that they giving me some sort of refund for the high rate that I paid and what I received, but of course they didn’t do anything NO BREAKFAST Available, nothing at all. Walk to Acropolis LIE. Need to take metro and go 3 stations. I literally had to go next-door to the mechanic shop to even ask how to get to the Metro. Not knowing if it was even safe for me to walk around the area. But I finally managed to find some food and Metro ROOF GARDEN that I was excited about was a mess. Hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. They cleaned it a bit while I was there. my first vacation in Athens was completely ruined.

if you are expecting a hotel or suites you should think again. The reception staff (when theyare there) and the cleaning team are very friendly, What you get is a well-cleaned room and large bathroom. There are no other facilities in the accommodation. There is no food or beverages - other than water supplied and 1 pod of coffee per day for the coffee machine.

Wonderful rooftop terrace with view of Parthenon. Places to eat nearby (Bread Factory is delicious!) Hotel was clean, showers were very nice, big room. Air conditioner isn't the best, but works. It's right next to a sports bar so it can get loud. We felt the area was safe for our family.

Das Hotel und das Personal haben uns sehr gut gefallen. Leider wurde das Frühstück über einen Lieferdienst gebracht, was am ersten Tag zeitlich nicht geklappt hat. Die Omeletts waren dadurch auch nicht mehr richtig heiß.

Being my very first time in Athens, Greece, I'm so blessed to stay in Iasonos Suites. Elena made sure my stay in Athen's "best kept secret" hotel was wonderful and memorable. It was great that she allowed me to check-in early as my flight arrived early in the morning. This enabled me to get some rest before my first tour of the day. The room is excellent. Although, Uber taxi is so affordable there, if you don't mind walking, the hotel is just a few minutes walk away from major areas such as Monasteraki and Plaka and the most major landmark of the city, the world renowned ancient ruins - The Acropolis. Also, great food and drinks are just 5 minutes walk away at Bread Factory. As if all those are not amazing enough, you can enjoy a breathtaking view of The Acropolis, from the rooftop terrace of the hotel with your favorite drink and food or just hang out and take pictures there. As I assured the hotel staff, I will definitely recommend Iasonos Suites to everyone, especially to my family and friends and co-workers. I would love to stay there again myself. The room is very clean and inside the hotel is lovely. However, if you are expecting to see a staff member, don’t hold your breath. When you find them, they are lovely, but they keep strange hours. This is more like an AirBnB or apartment rental, not a hotel. If you are a solo traveler, I would NOT recommend this place. It is in a very seedy part of town and although we were traveling in a large group, we were not comfortable walking in the alleys and side streets. Lots of drug use, needles, and our driver said we were next to brothels. It’s VERY loud- the earplugs they provide are a must to sleep. You either hear the cars racing or the rooster that starts crowing around 4 or 5 am. Breakfast comes from a cafe and is mid warm at best. Some days it came on time, others it was late, which make affect your plans.
