This is a lovely hotel and good value for the location. Staff are all excellent. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Good beds showers and facilities. The small gym is good and the pool was excellent- the cleanest we experienced in India. (Credit to the guys on duty around the pool they were excellent) Front desk staff were so helpful (especially Rhada and Bibek) Also the staff and food at Pizza by the lake were amazing. Breakfast was good and also well organised. Excellent hotel and highly recommended

The checking in process was smoth and simple goven that it was a last mibtue booking. The room was comfortable, to an normal standard. The pool was relaxing as it overlooked the lake, although only one umbrella was working so could not sit by the lake. The restuarants offered a good selection, and tapas restaurant served tasty food. The breakfast, the local cuisine was of a good standard, however, the pastry section could have been alot fresher, as they were hard. The only other thing was patrons ettiequette to general standards, as some people were determined to play the touching game and proceeded to touch every item with their hands.

This property has a nice view, friendly staff and good breakfast and dining option. Staff went out of their way to assist. Rickshaw stand was right infront. We walked around the lake to other restaurants. Onsite restaurants were good too. The furniture and hardware is getting old but overall experience was awesome. Taruna at front desk gave excellent service.

The stay at this property was poor. There was a wedding at the property the next day and so there were multiple workers making noise constructing the stage etc. The day of the wedding, we were rushed to check-out ( as the whole hotel apparently was booked). The swimming pool was shut, the pizzeria was shut and the common areas were all taken over by the wedding. Even at breakfast in the morning we were hurried by staff to finish as they needed it clear for the wedding. Once checked out, we were waiting for our taxi and we’re delightfully greeted with unwelcome stares by the wedding party which made us very uncomfortable. Obviously, in this specific situation the onus is on senior management. If we were notified prior to checkin that this would be the case, we would have booked elsewhere. Other hotels in the area which we stayed in kindly allowed usage of facilities without a problem. The staff at this hotel however were very nice and catering and in no way is this their fault- we understand that they are simply following instructions from management. The room was clean (contrary to other reviews) and they made the effort of delivering a cake to our room for Valentines Day. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. It is clearly a wedding hotel and members of the public should not have been able to book the hotel during this. I am disappointed and would like compensation for the distasteful experience which we had.

It’s good but they should improve a lot. Bathrooms are not in good shape not very clean .they don’t have smart TV in the room. Internet service is very poor.Staff is very good .Room service is excellent.

Really enjoyed our stay here, it was in such a good location and having the pool looking out on the quiet lake was spectacular. We could walk to town in 20 mins or a 5 mins rickshaw. Breakfast was good but not as good as other places we stayed. We tried the pizza restaurant and that was good. The outside area for drinks was nice too. The hotel let us check in very early after an overnight train and that was fantastic and unexpected. They made our stay very comfortable and I think it was a good value stay. Would recommend to anyone visiting Udaipur, compared to other places we saw the pool was much better with more space for sunbathing/relaxing.

This hotel is wedding hotel, when we checked in there were many issues in room and in hotel. This is wedding hotel and when we checked in throughout there was lots of wedding stage construction work started and very noisy and UNSAFE. They were lifting big metal structure while guests present in area, I also saw bare electrical wires live. The hotel restaurants and all common areas were taken over by wedding planner, there was nothing left for non-wedding guests. I complained t the manger and general manager but it was like talking to Brick wall. This is wedding hotel and not for normal guest. I saw young children playing very next to unsafe electrical cable by near to swimming pool and common area. I reported this to the hotel management several times. Rooms are ok, I could see pile of rubbish from my room on the lawn outside in attached photo. this rubbish was from wedding just left in common area. We paid lots of money to stay in this hotel, if we would have known these thing would have definitely not booked. I think they should not take booking from non wedding guest when wedding or wedding preparation or post wedding dismantling happening.

Sukhmani and Kanchan, provided great and ease in checking in and checking out. Food is truly authentic Indian and tastes absolutely great. Urban tadka is great place to eat, excellent service. Manish provided above and beyond five star service. Suresh is another one with excellent customer experience. Chef Hamendra of urban tadka is amazing, kudos to him for having such an amazing buffet with variety over the days. Pizza by the lake is also amazing. All pizzas here is authentic, very nice ambience and seating by the lake. Frangipani by the lake, what a bar again amazing views!! Loved our stay here, ended up extending our stay by another day!

Hotel price should be around ₹2k a night since it shouldn’t be a 4 star not ₹17k A NIGHT!!!I can’t get into details as it was THAT BAD but I wannna be nice to other customers so here’s a summary 1. Hairs(not mine) all over 2. Smell( not mine) all over 3. Sheets( not mine) all over The lack of hygiene in this hotel is mind boggling. MANAGER LAKE VIEW, Kindly don’t call or reply to this message as I would never go back even if u gave me 10 free nights Thank you and regards and fair warning to all

I think this hotel doesn't deserve a 5-star rating. We had 2 rooms booked and for both the rooms - toilet was dirty, AC had a bad smell. Upon reporting, they offered us a couple of rooms (according to them the only available rooms) which had similar issues and had to have their toilet cleaned and use room freshener to cover up bad smell. Their staff was not very well trained and some were even rude in the restaurant. With all this bad experience, their staff didn't show courtesy to make us feel that they were sorry for it.

Hotel Lakend is an excellent place for a staycation. Right off the lake with wonderful views of the lake and the city, delicious food options available on-site, a beautiful rooftop restaurant with great ambience and all-in-all amazing staff, from reception to restaurant wait staff. Concierge gave great suggestions for touring the city, the entire place is extremely clean and serene.
Hotel Lakend is an excellent place for a staycation. Right off the lake with wonderful views of the lake and the city, delicious food options available on-site, a beautiful rooftop restaurant with great ambience and all-in-all amazing staff, from reception to restaurant wait staff. Concierge gave great suggestions for touring the city, the entire place is extremely clean and serene.

First the property is beautiful, and plenty of guests will be outside taking pictures for their social media pages. The staff was friendly and helpful, however the front desks was unmanned and all the lobby lights were off when I left at 530. Seems a bit odd. With minor wind and rain the power was going off and on over and over again. To its credit it never stayed off long but it was enough to not want to risk any elevator ride. The room was large, the bed was stiff but overall the room was clean but a bit worn. The location is a bit far from the main sights, this makes it quiet, but also leaves little in the area as far as food and drink options. Tuk tuks always await outside or walking to the palace takes about 20 minutes.

Let me first say whats not good and then whats good. This property is far away from the 5 star rating Expedia gave. I would rate it as a 3 star and the price should be half of whats listed. Not good: 1. Cleanliness - Faucets let out black colored water 2. Towels were dirty - white - but greyed from use or not being clean 3. Bathrooms are filthy - old - some mold and scaled 4. Bed sheets were not clean and bed was saggy 5. Everything is very old and it smells like cheap motel Good: 1. Property location is great 2. Staff is good and courteous 3. Views are amazing from the lake side rooms 4. This would be a good hotel if the price was half and it was listed at a 3 star

We absolutely liked the spacious room with the an amazing lake view from our window. The staff were all excellent. Bathroom design is odd. (i,e) toilet seat right there in the middle of the bathroom in front of the wash basin. and the shower doors are clean glass (see through). so if 1 person brushes or uses toilet or in shower, no other person can enter in to that area, The light switch controls were odd. it is not intuitive to switch on or off certain lights. the switch board for the lights itself is lit and is so bright at night. Food choices were very good. 1 think I had to say about the check in process. we came little before the check in time. and had to wait for the room to get ready. While we were ok to wait, what was annoying was that we were not kept updated of how much roughly the wait was. The comminucation we felt was a little bad. The staff were all good and did their best to deal with this, But to not know if there will be a wait and if there is, how much roghly is the waut. kept us in a limbo and not able to plan better, it seemed like a 5 mnin wait at some point. but then took several minutes. had we known if there was such a long wait. we could have used that time to plan our day better. So definitely a feedback for a smooth check in process. we saw other people were also waiting in the waiting area. like us not sure for the same reasons though

The staff was amazing! From the people at the reception, the food, the waitresses were so sweet an accommodating! The hotel is located in front of the lake. My room had a view to the pool. I was able to arrange pick up and drop of from and to the airport. It was a great way to begin my journey in India!

The checking in process was smoth and simple goven that it was a last mibtue booking. The room was comfortable, to an normal standard. The pool was relaxing as it overlooked the lake, although only one umbrella was working so could not sit by the lake. The restuarants offered a good selection, and tapas restaurant served tasty food. The breakfast, the local cuisine was of a good standard, however, the pastry section could have been alot fresher, as they were hard. The only other thing was patrons ettiequette to general standards, as some people were determined to play the touching game and proceeded to touch every item with their hands.

Excellent hotel on many levels. The breakfast was delicious and varied, the staff were attentive and mostly spoke very good English, the rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the facilities were impressive. The location, next to the lake, is fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

The stay at this property was poor. There was a wedding at the property the next day and so there were multiple workers making noise constructing the stage etc. The day of the wedding, we were rushed to check-out ( as the whole hotel apparently was booked). The swimming pool was shut, the pizzeria was shut and the common areas were all taken over by the wedding. Even at breakfast in the morning we were hurried by staff to finish as they needed it clear for the wedding. Once checked out, we were waiting for our taxi and we’re delightfully greeted with unwelcome stares by the wedding party which made us very uncomfortable. Obviously, in this specific situation the onus is on senior management. If we were notified prior to checkin that this would be the case, we would have booked elsewhere. Other hotels in the area which we stayed in kindly allowed usage of facilities without a problem. The staff at this hotel however were very nice and catering and in no way is this their fault- we understand that they are simply following instructions from management. The room was clean (contrary to other reviews) and they made the effort of delivering a cake to our room for Valentines Day. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. It is clearly a wedding hotel and members of the public should not have been able to book the hotel during this. I am disappointed and would like compensation for the distasteful experience which we had.

The location of the hotel is excellent. Delux lake view rooms offer unobstructed view of Fatehsagar lake. Breakfast buffet had a good spread. Transport desk helped us planning our days and arranged for very efficient driver. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

First the property is beautiful, and plenty of guests will be outside taking pictures for their social media pages. The staff was friendly and helpful, however the front desks was unmanned and all the lobby lights were off when I left at 530. Seems a bit odd. With minor wind and rain the power was going off and on over and over again. To its credit it never stayed off long but it was enough to not want to risk any elevator ride. The room was large, the bed was stiff but overall the room was clean but a bit worn. The location is a bit far from the main sights, this makes it quiet, but also leaves little in the area as far as food and drink options. Tuk tuks always await outside or walking to the palace takes about 20 minutes.

This is a lovely hotel and good value for the location. Staff are all excellent. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Good beds showers and facilities. The small gym is good and the pool was excellent- the cleanest we experienced in India. (Credit to the guys on duty around the pool they were excellent) Front desk staff were so helpful (especially Rhada and Bibek) Also the staff and food at Pizza by the lake were amazing. Breakfast was good and also well organised. Excellent hotel and highly recommended

This property has a nice view, friendly staff and good breakfast and dining option. Staff went out of their way to assist. Rickshaw stand was right infront. We walked around the lake to other restaurants. Onsite restaurants were good too. The furniture and hardware is getting old but overall experience was awesome. Taruna at front desk gave excellent service.

This hotel is wedding hotel, when we checked in there were many issues in room and in hotel. This is wedding hotel and when we checked in throughout there was lots of wedding stage construction work started and very noisy and UNSAFE. They were lifting big metal structure while guests present in area, I also saw bare electrical wires live. The hotel restaurants and all common areas were taken over by wedding planner, there was nothing left for non-wedding guests. I complained t the manger and general manager but it was like talking to Brick wall. This is wedding hotel and not for normal guest. I saw young children playing very next to unsafe electrical cable by near to swimming pool and common area. I reported this to the hotel management several times. Rooms are ok, I could see pile of rubbish from my room on the lawn outside in attached photo. this rubbish was from wedding just left in common area. We paid lots of money to stay in this hotel, if we would have known these thing would have definitely not booked. I think they should not take booking from non wedding guest when wedding or wedding preparation or post wedding dismantling happening.

This was a recommendation however sadly we arrived early at noon and waited for the time of check in which was at 1pm and 1.45pm i started to moan as still the room was not ready, we had travelled 24hrs and were exhausted. I appreciate the manager made contact and left a bottle of red wine in the room for the non drinkers that we were. Although I wish that never happened as it would have been a better stay.

I think this hotel doesn't deserve a 5-star rating. We had 2 rooms booked and for both the rooms - toilet was dirty, AC had a bad smell. Upon reporting, they offered us a couple of rooms (according to them the only available rooms) which had similar issues and had to have their toilet cleaned and use room freshener to cover up bad smell. Their staff was not very well trained and some were even rude in the restaurant. With all this bad experience, their staff didn't show courtesy to make us feel that they were sorry for it.

Hotel Lakend is an excellent place for a staycation. Right off the lake with wonderful views of the lake and the city, delicious food options available on-site, a beautiful rooftop restaurant with great ambience and all-in-all amazing staff, from reception to restaurant wait staff. Concierge gave great suggestions for touring the city, the entire place is extremely clean and serene.

Sukhmani and Kanchan, provided great and ease in checking in and checking out. Food is truly authentic Indian and tastes absolutely great. Urban tadka is great place to eat, excellent service. Manish provided above and beyond five star service. Suresh is another one with excellent customer experience. Chef Hamendra of urban tadka is amazing, kudos to him for having such an amazing buffet with variety over the days. Pizza by the lake is also amazing. All pizzas here is authentic, very nice ambience and seating by the lake. Frangipani by the lake, what a bar again amazing views!! Loved our stay here, ended up extending our stay by another day!

Really enjoyed our stay here, it was in such a good location and having the pool looking out on the quiet lake was spectacular. We could walk to town in 20 mins or a 5 mins rickshaw. Breakfast was good but not as good as other places we stayed. We tried the pizza restaurant and that was good. The outside area for drinks was nice too. The hotel let us check in very early after an overnight train and that was fantastic and unexpected. They made our stay very comfortable and I think it was a good value stay. Would recommend to anyone visiting Udaipur, compared to other places we saw the pool was much better with more space for sunbathing/relaxing.

This is a lovely hotel and good value for the location. Staff are all excellent. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Good beds showers and facilities. The small gym is good and the pool was excellent- the cleanest we experienced in India. The checking in process was smoth and simple goven that it was a last mibtue booking. The room was comfortable, to an normal standard. The pool was relaxing as it overlooked the lake, although only one umbrella was working so could not sit by the lake. The restuarants offered a good selection, and tapas restaurant served tasty food. The breakfast, the local cuisine was of a good standard, however, the pastry section could have been alot fresher, as they were hard. The only other thing was patrons ettiequette to general standards, as some people were determined to play the touching game and proceeded to touch every item with their hands.

This property has a nice view, friendly staff and good breakfast and dining option. Staff went out of their way to assist. Rickshaw stand was right infront. We walked around the lake to other restaurants. Onsite restaurants were good too. The furniture and hardware is getting old but overall experience was awesome. Taruna at front desk gave excellent service.

Excellent hotel on many levels. The breakfast was delicious and varied, the staff were attentive and mostly spoke very good English, the rooms were spacious, modern, and comfortable, and the facilities were impressive. The location, next to the lake, is fabulous. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel!

worst property, pathetic staff, zero food quality. I have videos for big bugs crawling in breakfast buffet. Ridiculous culture and Yash their manager is the most unhelpful, unaware individual with negative hospitality. I wasted 50,000 in 2 days.

Really enjoyed our stay here, it was in such a good location and having the pool looking out on the quiet lake was spectacular. We could walk to town in 20 mins or a 5 mins rickshaw. Breakfast was good but not as good as other places we stayed. We tried the pizza restaurant and that was good. The outside area for drinks was nice too. The hotel let us check in very early after an overnight train and that was fantastic and unexpected. They made our stay very comfortable and I think it was a good value stay. Would recommend to anyone visiting Udaipur, compared to other places we saw the pool was much better with more space for sunbathing/relaxing.

Sukhmani and Kanchan, provided great and ease in checking in and checking out. Food is truly authentic Indian and tastes absolutely great. Urban tadka is great place to eat, excellent service. Manish provided above and beyond five star service. Suresh is another one with excellent customer experience. Chef Hamendra of urban tadka is amazing, kudos to him for having such an amazing buffet with variety over the days. Pizza by the lake is also amazing. All pizzas here is authentic, very nice ambience and seating by the lake. Frangipani by the lake, what a bar again amazing views!! Loved our stay here, ended up extending our stay by another day!

Staff was not able to help during stay for extra bed. On expedia, it was showing us that 3 person can easily sleeps on king size bed. But hotel staff want us to pay extra for one more kid. Which was absurd . We paid extra for that. Overall experience for property was nice including rooms and food.

This is a truly beautiful hotel with amazing views over the lake. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. We’ve stayed in 7 different 5 start hotels in different cities on our travels in India and this is by far the best. Make sure you take the time for a swim with a view of you go here.

Hello must stay very good location and good staff but initial check in was horrible the front desk girl was so bad later manager did take onus and for the room as per the requirement but first impression was bad and marriage was there which was not listed so was disappointing
