I loved the location, close to everything I wanted and the parking in back was great. Our room, and the whole inn was lovely. The breakfast was delicious, the chef was great. We had a wonderful stay.

If you are going to Gettysburg, stay at a bed and breakfast. The Tillie Pierce House is a good choice. Close to downtown Gettysburg and walking distance to restaurants, shops, and ghost tours. We stayed one night but our stay was comfortable. Pleasant staff and great breakfast. It was very hot with temps in the mid 90's but the Tillie Pierce House has central air conditioning and the temp was very comfortable. Small but clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Enjoy your stay.

Breakfast was difficult to nail down. Online stated 9-11 and it was 8:30-930 at the house. Parking passes were not handed out to several guests. That was frustrating. The house itself is clean and a beautiful representation of the houses of the era. Its history from the battle of Gettysburg is immense and deep. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit stiff for my liking. And the pillow fee is mind boggling. I would sincerely think about removing that cost from the billing. I don’t think people are wanting to take your pillows, or at least the pillows I was using. Staffing becomes an issue during the day as well. Sometimes there’s no one available to help if a problem were to arise. I feel that should be remediated. The toilets take some getting used to flushing, but they do flush. Just be prepared. Overall I did enjoy the feeling and dynamic of the houses and guests. I would consider staying here again.

The Innkeeper, Bob, was very pleasant and accommodating. Each room had their own bathroom and there were snacks and drinks available at all times. It was conveniently close to the festivities on the square on New Year's Eve.

Host was very accommodating with early breakfast request. Loved that coffee/tea/lite bites were available at any time. Quiet house, tillie pierce room was small but large bathroom! Very clean. Other rooms were absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed our short stay!

After a hot day at bike week in Gettysburg, we were so excited to get back to our suite at the Tillie Pierce house to cool down. Much to our dismay we walked into our room and it was very warm. We saw that the rooms could'nt be controlled individually and were so hot all night and could barely sleep. Bed was very comfy but because of the temperature, it didnt matter. Also, the house is not staffed so noone to help if there is a non emergency issue. Breakfast smelled great the next morning, but we were excited to get back to our air conditioned home. We will go back to the Farnsworth House again next time.

The Inn has wonderful character and the innkeepers are pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was good (however a bit later than we would prefer). The only real concern was that the bathroom had not been cleaned properly before our arrival.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Tillie Pierce House. I didn’t realize that the house had a reputation for being haunted when I booked it. My husband and I did have something unexplained happen in our room. This just added to the fun Gettysburg adventure! Would stay here again.

The building / Bed and Breakfast Inn…was there during the battle of Gettysburg and was used as a hospital for wounded soldiers, The rooms were very comfortable and authentic for the 19th Century giving one the feeling of traveling back in time.

Nice, historic, easy walk to most anything in Gettysburg. Friendly, helpful staff. Room small but adequate; couch/folding bed was OK to sleep on once I rearranged cushions under the thin mattress pad.

Overall I did enjoy the feeling and dynamic of the houses and guests. I would consider staying here again.
Breakfast was difficult to nail down. Online stated 9-11 and it was 8:30-930 at the house. Parking passes were not handed out to several guests. That was frustrating. The house itself is clean and a beautiful representation of the houses of the era. Its history from the battle of Gettysburg is immense and deep. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a bit stiff for my liking. And the pillow fee is mind boggling. I would sincerely think about removing that cost from the billing. I don’t think people are wanting to take your pillows, or at least the pillows I was using. Staffing becomes an issue during the day as well. Christine, the innkeeper during our stay was very dedicated. She also gave some additional information about the home and town. We appreciated that! The rooms weren't fancy but they were very comfortable, quiet and decorated as close to period as possible. It's a lovely house and Tillie Pierce's story is amazing. The location is great. If you like a period type setting and a great location downtown, this is a good choice!

Host was very accommodating with early breakfast request. Loved that coffee/tea/lite bites were available at any time. Quiet house, tillie pierce room was small but large bathroom! Very clean. Other rooms were absolutely beautiful. Enjoyed our short stay!

This place was AMAZING! Our host, Mark, was wonderful and very accommodating to our needs and requests. He was very personable, told us stories about the area, and let us in on the plans to do some period-appropriate upgrades to the house! The tillie pierce room was cozy, easily accessible, and perfect for the two of us. We were lucky and were the only guests staying at the time which was nice to come and go as we pleased - which was perfect since the main town is a quick walk away. We also walked to the Gettysburg Diorama museum and the Lincoln Train Museum, and we took a trip to the battlefield and walked around there. We will definitely be staying here again!

After a hot day at bike week in Gettysburg, we were so excited to get back to our suite at the Tillie Pierce house to cool down. Much to our dismay we walked into our room and it was very warm. We saw that the rooms could'nt be controlled individually and were so hot all night and could barely sleep. Bed was very comfy but because of the temperature, it didnt matter. Also, the house is not staffed so noone to help if there is a non emergency issue. Breakfast smelled great the next morning, but we were excited to get back to our air conditioned home. We will go back to the Farnsworth House again next time.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Tillie Pierce House Inn. We were in town for a wedding, and Gail was very friendly and helpful. The inn was comfortable and in a great location. Everything was within walking distance. Great restaurants, shops, tours, and pubs. We will definitely come back to see more of the battlefield. We loved Gettysburg and the inn!

If you are going to Gettysburg, stay at a bed and breakfast. The Tillie Pierce House is a good choice. Close to downtown Gettysburg and walking distance to restaurants, shops, and ghost tours. We stayed one night but our stay was comfortable. Pleasant staff and great breakfast. It was very hot with temps in the mid 90's but the Tillie Pierce House has central air conditioning and the temp was very comfortable. Small but clean rooms and a comfortable bed. Enjoy your stay.

The Inn has wonderful character and the innkeepers are pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was good (however a bit later than we would prefer). The only real concern was that the bathroom had not been cleaned properly before our arrival.

I could not believe the shape the Inn was in this year .My daughters and I loved this place .First 'the state of the office was completely junk filled .Looking into the kitchen every counter was filled with dirty food and dishes,the laundry room from our view was filled with piles on the floor. Our tv was not connected Or working and the little heater switch would not turn off ,you need to pull the plug. There were dirty stains on all the doors and spiderweb in the bathroom. In the morning the fire alarm went off due to smoke from the oven . In the dining room the counters were covered in sugar and trash,the buffet server had broken lids so you had to use your hands to take the hot lid off.Looked like the Inn was not cleaned from the weekend. We were given A bunch of excuses ....

Other than being handed the wrong key while checking in and almost being locked out of the room for the evening, it was a lovely stay and the day staff were great. They really should have a back up service at night for incidentals like pipes bursting, power outages or when the ghost cat is on a tear.
