I booked this hotel because it was listed as “exceptional”, but I would respectfully disagree. The hotel was average with no amenities except for a coffee machine, with free coffee, in the lobby. The rooms are what Americans would consider small, but average size for Paris. There is no gym or spa and the “bar” is wine bottles that you can purchase wine by the glass from by prepaying a card-then a glass of wine is dispensed. The staff was very nice and helpful. There are lots of restaurants and stores in the area. The hotel is walking distance to the Eiffel Tower. I have no complaints, but again I would not consider it an exceptional hotel and feel that that rating is a bit deceiving.

This hotel was very convenient for its location. It was close to restaurants and bars. Rooms are a little small and if you’re travelling from Canada, keep in mind they don’t turn the AC on until it’s their summer. For my visit, the elevator was not in service and neither was the amenities as they were getting renovated, which would’ve been nice to know prior to arriving and booking. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

The room was a little smaller than we’re used to (first time in paris) but over all everything was great. the private sauna and hot tub was delightful. and the service was incredible, so pleasant and eagerly helpful.

Clean comfortable, great cleaning crew but tiny room. Also elevator very rickety and small. We were in building 2 which we weren’t sure why we couldn’t be in main building. Area safe with many shopping and restaurants around. Very close to Metro. We had additional city taxes which we tried to check out even though we had prepaid room which was disappointing

Room smelled like sewage, and we had backup in one of our rooms during our stay. Took hotel two days to correct and still smelled like sewage. Could not use the shower. Paid partially in cash and could not get a printed receipt. Was told it would be emailed and never received. Was promised a call by manager and never heard from them. Had adjourning rooms with outside door. Required to give adjourning room key to front desk when you leave and they misplaced it and accused us. Maintenance left our adjourning room door wide open with the key still in the lock, the key they accused us of losing. Too many other choices in Paris to stay here.

On arrival at Hotel du Cadran, we discovered that the room assigned to us was nothing like the pictures presented on the hotel website. The room was very small, very much showing its age, and the rug was dirty. In addition, garbage and cleaning equipment was piled up next to the entry door to the room. The staff was very nice, but had no alternate or more adequate room to offer us for the duration of our stay. We decided to cancel our reservation and select another hotel in Paris, and checked out within a couple of hours of our arrival. The hotel website and pictures should be updated so that other travellers know what to expect when reserving at the Hotel du Cadran. This property in Paris had been recently renovated so it was very clean. It was centrally located. Metro was two blocks away from the hotel. Very walkable. Plenty of restaurants close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very small but it had everything we needed.

Great location (near Rue Cler and close metro), excellent breakfast. Rooms are small (as expected) but clean and well-equipped. Be aware, the family room (1 full room plus a room with two twins on the same small corridor) worked for us with older teens but the corridor door does not lock so it is not your own private area; we would not have felt comfortable with younger kids being in their own space in basically an open hallway with a room next to ours. Simple remedy would be to put a lock on the corridor door. Overall a nice stay that worked for our family.

Wonderful staff and the location is great for walking to the Eiffel Tower and the Seine. Our room was VERY small which is not that unusual in Europe. However there was only one tiny closet with two small shelves, and NO drawers. This was a challenge given our stay was several days.

Very small room but a cool view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. Please note that if you travel during the winter the AC will not work in cooling mode. That was not a problem since it was very cold in Paris and we needed the heater on. Very conveniently located for a walk to the Eiffel Tower as well as many dining options. I would stay here again if there was a bigger room.

This was such an amazing hotel. From check in to check out we couldn't have asked for a friendlier staff. The location was perfect! Delicious food all around us and felt extremely safe to walk around even very very late at night. The Eiffel tower was a 10 minute walk and lots of amazing places all around...... We would 100 % come back this hotel and hope to even see our friendly desk man again. Absolute gem in Paris!!!!!

The location and the staff couldn't have been better. We booked transportation from the airport through the hotel and were amazed to find the driver waiting even though our flight arrived an hour early. I would definitely stay here again.

Very rude front desk worker who said we didn’t have room booked until he realized he had wrong list and was still RUDE. Room smelled very bad, I was glad we only stayed one night. Rats outside in the streets of Paris do not make me want to visit this city ever again.

My stay at Cadran Hotel began well. The day staff who checked us in were friendly, and one staff member even walked us to our room and was very kind to my daughter. Unfortunately, the experience with the hotel-arranged transportation to Disneyland completely overshadowed our stay and left us feeling unsafe. The front desk told me the round-trip cost would be 120 euros, and the driver who picked us up confirmed that price before we got in the vehicle. But after the return trip, a different driver suddenly demanded additional payment, claiming the cost was higher. Perfect location, incredibly helpful staff, clean rooms, very comfortable beds. This was our third year at Cadran, and we love it so much. The staff is amazing and the location is perfect. We always talk about trying out a different neighborhood when we got to Paris, but Cadran feels like a home away from home, so we keep going back. I did a lot of research the first year in where to stay, and I'm so happy I chose Cadran. You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay! The location of this hotel is unbeatable and for the price, it is surely a win. The staffs Sebastian and Miriam at the reception are both warm, kind, and very professional. They both helped us during our stay and we never felt intimidated asking for assistance. I will highly recommend this place to others especially if Sebastian and Miriam are still there or if you train others to be like them.

This hotel was only a 15 min walk from the Eiffel Tower. Cafe’s close by on every corner (it’s Paris) and close to shopping and the Louvre. The staff spoke English well and was very helpful.

Location is fantastic. Staff are very accommodating and polite. Room is a bit tight for 3 people in spite of having 2 beds. It wasn’t a bigger room, just more beds. Bathroom was sufficient but VERY tight. Amenities were nice. It was quite well priced for the area. Ecole Militaire metro station is a block away.

Great area! Truly love the nearby cafes, shops, and restaurants. Also love the little market and the fresh baked goods in the morning. The hotel is located in such a great spot and nearby grocery stores. Also- walkable to the Eiffel towel which was pretty convenient for us as well! Great location.

Excellent in all respects! Service at front desk is enthusiastic and helpful!! Breakfast is fantastic, crepes, croissants, yogurt, eggs, prociutto and freshly squeezed orange juice. Located not only walking distance to Eiffel Tower and train station to Versailles (& metro to rest of city) but also beside Rue Claire , a walking street with many restaurant patios and shopping. Room is small but very clean, modern and quiet. A perfect selection for 3 day visit to Paris. Merci everyone at Hotel du Cadran!!

I had searched online for a hotel with a Breakfast Room, many hotels in Paris don’t have them, Hotel du Cadran was the best I’d seen advertised. Although it looked attractive, we found breakfast was limited. Fruit, dairy yoghurt, croissant, scrambled egg, toast. My husband is both Gluten and Dairy intolerant. GF bread was provided upon request but no dairy free alternatives were available for him, therefore it was a daily ‘fruit only’ breakfast for him. The Breakfast Room had an amazing electric fresh orange juicer but sadly there were no oranges available on our second day. Expensive hotel for very little. Been to much better for a lot less but maybe that’s Le Paris! Hotel du Cadran is well situated for Eiffel Tower and metro transport links to Champs Elysee, Arc de Triomphe, Trocadero etc. Lots of nice restaurants and cafes locally. Bed & pillows were comfortable. Room has real opening window/french doors. No bar in hotel for late night drinks other than a prepaid wine vending machine so the hotel sign on website stating Hotel Wine above a bar photograph is a tad misleading, we never found the large pleasant terrace that was advertised. Overall we enjoyed our trip very much.

I planned this trip for my daughter who wanted to celebrate her 50th birthday in Paris. Hoping to find a hotel close to the Eiffel Tower,this was the perfect place. It was close to everything and in the midst of cafes and various bakeries and markets. She was able to feel the true French experience. Breakfast was well worth it and servers were wonderful. Staff was extremely helpful, especially Maryem. She arranged our transportation to and from the airport as well as to the train station when we traveled to the South of France. Although we spent minimal time at the hotel,I would have liked a slightly larger room, but I definitely recommend this hotel and price is very reasonable.

This is an amazing hotel that is extremely well located just a block from Rue Cler. It is within 10 minutes of Eiffel Tower with multiple options to catch metro, bus, or regional trains. I had breakfast included in my package and was very pleased with the extensive breakfast offered. My room (superior) was equipped with a mini fridge. The staff was excellent and always very helpful. If/when I return to Paris, this is where I will stay. Highly recommend!
