Very disappointed in our room 119. This was a treat for my husband as its his birthday tomorrow so we came away for it. Immediately, the plastic slot where the room card goes was missing its front facing, which was found near the desk. Once we'd managed to get some light we noticed that the light was flickering above the bed which needed the bulb tightened to stop the strobe effect. The Lightstrip above bed doesnt work at all. The Carpet is very stained... with who knows what.... definitely not a good impression when entering the room. Wooden strip by shower shedding paint where it has got damp but not been repaired. Shower rail top fixing is loose coming away from wall One of the Curtain has unknown stains on it. The metal flexi shower hose is filthy with grime. There is Mould on outside of shower glass between the shower and the toilet. Sink plug hole doesn't open a lot, so takes ages to drain. Neither of us slept well.... the neds appeared comfy but were a bit hard for sleeping. Breakfast appeared good.... lots of choice but the hot options disappointed....soggy hash browns, very peppery scrambled eggs, the bacon was very dry and over cooked, and there was an eyelash on my sausage. Far from ideal, and far from the treat that I would have liked for my husband on his birthday.

Great hotel for what I needed - a good night's sleep whilst travelling and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't quite as good a quality as other places I've stayed.
