When we got there, the office was closed and locked. We stood in the rain for 20 minutes, ringing the doorbell, calling the phone and banging on the door and could not get anybody to answer to check us in. We ended up having to change for the wedding that we went to in an Arby’s bathroom. We even left a voicemail and nobody ever called us back.This place was terrible zero out of five stars. We called hotels.com and got a complete refund. Do not waste your money on this crap hole.

The place was so dreary and dirty, I left and went to another hotel. I lost my money but no way I was staying there. Even the sheet were dirty with hair.

I love Bar-Mel! It has been around for many years, so don't expect fancy, but the beds are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The staff is awesome. A young man named Mo helped me with the tv remote when I couldn't find the volume button. I must have had a senior moment! He was so kind and even gave me a big hug!
