This property was a highlight of my multiweek trip to Costa Rica. The road access to the property is quite adventurous, and you absolutely want a 4x4 to get here confidently... But wow. Once you get here. This. Is. The. Jungle. Palace! Only forest stay I did that was better in Costa Rica was Finca Exotica down in Corcovado. However, Cascada Elysiana is much closer to San Jose and Liberia airport - so that is an advantage! Take advantage of the breakfast and dinner! Do the hike to the private waterfall! And remember to take off your shoes before walking into the main building! If considering between booking this hotel and another nearby... As long as you have a 4x4 to get here, this is the one to choose without hesitation!
