Advertising said breakfast included, no .breakfast available, no in room coffee. The wood floor in the room was very uneven and cone apart, safety hazard. DO NOT STAY HERE. When we were checking in another customer almost came to blows with the guy at the front desk, apparently his wife sat in a chair in their room and the chair broke and no, she was not over weight

Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very poor nowhere to make a cup of tea or coffee in the evening. I had to go to the local shop a bit noisy then again you’re on the motorway otherwise good stay thank you very much

Disgusting, unclean. Smoke detector in room 218 broke off/not installed. Bed sheets were stained and dirty. Bed covering had cigarette burns on it. Room smelled like weed. Shower, dirty and ceiling falling apart. No toiletries for use. Just an overall horrible stay for an already horrible travel day.

Room wasn't ready, not clean. Roach infestation walls, floor and inside the refrigerator. I did not stay and don't recommend it to anyone. They only want your money. Former military and I've been in some austere environments. This takes the cake.

My recent 3-day stay at the Super 8 by Wyndham Rahway/Newark was an absolute disaster, especially traveling with my two young children and wife. This hotel is far from "family friendly" and needs a serious overhaul in management and basic cleanliness. I specifically reserved a non-smoking room, only to be hit with an overwhelming, stale tobacco smell upon entering. When I complained to management, they "graciously" moved us... to an even worse room! The second room reeked even more and, shockingly, had cigar butts scattered on the floor. This is completely unacceptable and a major health concern, especially with kids. The problems didn't stop there. Every single day of our stay, the parking lot reeked of marijuana. This created an incredibly uncomfortable and unwelcoming atmosphere that no family should have to experience. To top it all off, despite being a family of four, housekeeping consistently only left two towels. We had to call and request more every single day. This hotel is a massive disappointment. The lack of attention to basic cleanliness, blatant disregard for non-smoking policies, and overall sketchy environment made for a truly miserable experience. They need to make significant improvements before they can even think about calling themselves a suitable option for families. Avoid if you value a clean, safe, and pleasant stay.

Problem with cancellations, they do not return the money, so it was done in time... I paid it in full and when I did not need it, they did not refund me anything, the room was clean, the corridor and areas were dirty with garbage even outside the trash can in the stairwell areas and right at the entrance to the room there was a puddle of water

Room was comfortable. Breakfast was very poor nowhere to make a cup of tea or coffee in the evening. I had to go to the local shop a bit noisy then again you’re on the motorway otherwise good stay thank you very much

Racis and prejudice at front desk we had asked for toilet paper and wash cloths. They told us they were in the dryer so we came back they still un the dryer 5 hours later. I do t k ow if they thought we were trying to steal toilet paper and wash cloths but they stuck o recommend no one comes staff is terrible . The room is big but not comfortable. I will never step foot I. This he'll hole again. Rude staff and accommodations are the worst.Wveryonebeware

The room was mostly clean and comfortable, but the cleaning could have been more thorough. There were still visible dirty spots behind the bed that had clearly been missed. The biggest issue was the breakfast, which was extremely disappointing. There was cereal available, but never any milk, making it basically useless. The only other option was two loaves of bread for toast with jam. The coffee was also consistently empty whenever we checked. The room itself was acceptable, but the breakfast was so poorly stocked that it really shouldn’t be advertised as much of a breakfast at all. With better attention to cleaning details and basic breakfast supplies, this could have been a much better stay. As it was, 3 stars feels fair.
