Place is run down, needs carpet and areas appeared not clean. Has coffee pot but no coffee. No do not disturb notice. Dirty elevators, only coke machines, no snacks. Indoor pool area kind of dirty. If you just need a bed not too bad. Ask about all prices and fees before arriving.

Telephone "did not" work. No soap, no washcloths, I went and got them from the person cleaning on that floor. Website shows picture(s) of laundry room for guests, "no" laundry room available, it was taken out according to front desk clerks.

The access to the beach was wonderful. The price was good. However, the property and hallways and room was dirty. The bed was not comfortable. The lock on my door was broken and at one point I was locked in my room they sent someone to fix it but it broke again and again. The desk staff was rude and dismissive. The housecleaning crew were nice though. The room and surrounding property smelled strongly of weed the entire 4 days I was there. The pool was almost brown in color so was unusable. I lived the access to the boardwalk but I did not feel safe after 9 pm.

Pool área/ lazy river/ jacuzzi had overflowing garbage cans, there was cigarette buds by the pool area and some Lounging chairs were broken. However, my room was clean and spacious and the staff was friendly and helpful

Enjoyed our stay, on the beach, easy access to everything. Parking is a nightmare. Rooms don’t get cleaned or fresh towels unless asked or go get yourself from lobby. Will pick up trash if set outside the room door. All in all it’s a nice place with pool and lazy river.

It was good. You get exactly what you pay for. It isnt fancy and the pools arent heated. There isnt a hot tub even though they said there was and it was very noisy at night due to being beside the public access. I would come back.

No parking. Unsafe conditions. No luggage carts. No safe for valuables in rooms. Nasty walk ways. Lazy river had debris in it. Too many people in the ONLY jacuzzi. Only bright spot was the personnel behind the counter. They were awesome, other than that, property was HORRIBLE.

Lazy river is why I stayed, had no current at all. Pools were 2 kiddie pools. Couldn't find the hot tub control. The parking was awful. We seen 3 wrecks & someone's window was busted out & they were robbed. Couldn't drive around for cars blocking the ends. We parked across the street which was a little better. When we first got there we had a lot of stuff for a week & couldn't get a cart & they told us they didn't know where they were.

ROACHES! The place looks like it was a very nice hotel in it's day. That day has definitely passed. The very first thing I saw when I opened the door to the room was a roach climbing up the wall. The room we booked was an ocean view with a jacuzzi tub. So, in its day that would've been a bomb-diggity of accomodations, but the aforementioned jacuzzi tub looked like it had seen and been through things that would've made Caligula blush. I

The only good thing about this place is the location everything else and I mean everything it’s disgusting. The elevator smelled like pee and looked as if it hasn’t been cleaned ever there was so many handprints and looks like poop smear on the elevator door in the walls. Walking through the hallways eye witness multiple people allowing their dogs to just pee on the carpet in the hallway where everybody walks nobody was picking up after their dogs. I almost stepped in dog poop multiple times out in the grass the shower in the bathroom was disgusting. I couldn’t even give my daughter a bath. She had to take showers and we had to take showers with our shoes on because it was so nasty. I didn’t trust being in there barefoot we stayed an entire week asked if somebody could come vacuum the sand up from our room nobody ever came when we went down to ask for new towels and turned in the dirty ones I waited 15 minutes and had the worst attitude from the employees. I will never be staying here ever again and do not suggest anyone stays here.

Room was dirty, one bed had not been changed and it had cockroaches and bed bugs, I have pictures. We slept the first night in my car in their parking lot. We changed rooms the second night which thankfully did not have bugs but mattress was bad. Checked out a day early and was told I would get my refund from my booking company. I hope that is true since I was already out for the first nights stay. There were absolutely only the barist of essential's.

There was mold all over the ceiling you pulled out the pull out couch and the bed had mold all over it that you could not even use that bed. Very disgusting parking sucks so bad had to park two blocks away because all the parking was full.

This place is deplorable!! The health department should investigate this facility immediately!!!The smell of disgust is all over the place and this place is one of the filthiest I have ever seen. To ask the front desk for anything was an inconvenience. We had to leave as the smell of the facility and odor of cannabis was disgusting!!

Mold and mildew are just terrible. Common areas are as dirty as can be. Absolutely no cares given. Arrived during what could only be described as an episode of cops occurring. It's been nearly a week and I am still experiencing significant mold exposure symptoms. Really don't know how this place can be on the beach in a popular destination and be this bad. They have every opportunity and tool to make money and be a good property despite its age.....it's all about mindset. Don't stay here folks.

Great location on boardwalk near pier. Good parking. Great restaurant. Beautiful view. BUT.... Common area carpets dirty even dried puke not cleaned up entire weekend. Lots of garbage in parking lots not picked up. Lazy river bottom moldy and dirty. Dirty carpet in room and common areas. Elevator had no inspection info. Elevator had dirty walls and floor. Sticky doors and light switches in room and common area. Sink old and service cracked. Jet tub broken with dirty jets. Furniture cheap w vinyl peeling off particle board. Heavily stained mattress. Phone not working. No replacement towels in whole hotel. No room cleaning. Damaged sheets. No hangers. No coffee and condiments. No cream rinse. No lotion.

I was not told that All the rooms are smoking. They gave me a 1 bedroom, half the size of a normal hotel room. Expedia helped me resolve and cancel the 2nd night.

The bed was awlful and the bed spread. The toilet had a screw missing, had to call maintenance, got it fixed. The whole place needs painting. The people in office some were nice. I spilled my tea on my first night ask for bedding they told to come back in a hour, i did didn't have them was told to come back in 30 minutes didn't have themwas told to come back in 15 minutes, didn't have them went back they didn't have them and she got mad and told me to wait so she went to get me some. The next night had to go down twice to get a couple of towels. I was supposed to have two queen beds, got two full.

Affordable place to stay with easy access to the beach. Room is spacious and clean. But if you need anything additional get it early. We went to the front for extra pillows because ours were flat. Only to be told they couldn't help us.

The staff is wonderful, spacious double-bedded rooms, great wifi access, easy climate controlled, a 30 second walk to the beach and boadwalk, great pool and lazy river that stays open late. Overall we recommend this hotel to any out of towners on vacation.

First off: ALL the Rooms are SMOKING ROOMS. I may have missed that while booking but I would not have booked here if I knew that right away! I booked through Hotels.com. I needed a place for one night as I was in town for my daughter's graduation. PROS: Right on the beach and walking distance to all the attractions on the Boardwalk and other amusement area. Room was spacious and the Shower pressure was AWESOME! Good temperature control even though the unit was noisy. CONS: Horrible smoking stench in room, noisy because right on Ocean BLVD and could hear every motorcycle driving down street. But I always bring ear plugs so I slept great. Basic bed linens/quilt and only 2 pillows per bed. Listen, it's not the Ritz Carlton but to be in the room for less than 12 hours it was fine. Ya get what you pay for people!

Our first night we were on the first floor and our TV didn’t work and the door didn’t lock. Maintenance came in and he was so nice and fixed things. The beds were terrible and the curtain didn’t cover the whole window. The next two nights were better. We were on the 6 floor and the beds were a lot better. The area the hotel is in is not good!!

The Hotel itself could use some updates. However the view on the 4th floor made up for it. They did their best to keep it clean. We stayed from 7/27-8/1. It’s great for a budget and being by the beach.

My daughter and I took a month long vacation and stayed a week here at this location. We had a wonderful stay. First off, the ladies in check-in were great. The room was clean, the beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve EVER slept in, so much so that I’m looking into where to buy one of those mattresses for my own. We loved that it was literally right on the beach and the boardwalk. We enjoyed going to where the SkyWheel is every night without having to drive the car. We will definitely stay here again.

Overall the room was perfect for location and price! Few minor hiccups like clogged toilet, but staff was very attentive and fixed the issue quickly! Definitely would stay again!

Great stay for the price. Room could use some upgrades , my room could have used a new comforter. But overall i would stay again for the price. I gave 5/5 because it was good for the price and in a good location. Actually better than expected. Staff was friendly. I did not see any bugs at all.

The hotel stay was nice, with a clean room and polite guest services. However, we did not receive any towels or washcloths, and there was no housekeeping. Additionally, parking was terrible.

First off, the staff is amazing. Very knowledgeable and courteous front desk staff. Our shower didn't work but the maintenance staff handled that very quickly. The employees are fabulous. The building needs work and the people that lurk around the building are dealing drugs while sitting under the canopy. My husband and I watched this and were afraid to let our kids out at certain times. Our two teenage daughters were in the pool and two men outside of the gate said to them, "what would their parents do if theh went missing?". My husband and I reported this to the office staff. These women deserve some sort of commendation for their professional approach and total understanding of the situation. The men were told to leave the premises as they were not guests of the establishment. The hotel could be amazing if the outside was cleaned up. The scum bags lurking right outside of the building caused a very uncomfortable stay.

The two lady’s at the front desk are rude as hell. Mostly the older white lady and the other girl with the accent is her little back up. Other than that, the room was pretty clean and stay was good! The area isn’t the best, lots of crime/cop chases and fight broke out. Convenient to lots of restaraunts and stores. My only issue was the ladies up front. And that when I booked it, I booked oceanfront and somehow it got changed to “city view”. But honestly the side view is a better view of the ocean because of all the trees they have in the back, so that worked out to my favor. Overall- probably won’t be back. Simply because of service and area. Good hotel for the price though.

My daughter and I took a month long vacation and stayed a week here at this location. We had a wonderful stay. First off, the ladies in check-in were great. The room was clean, the beds were the most comfortable beds we’ve EVER slept in, so much so that I’m looking into where to buy one of those mattresses for my own. We loved that it was literally right on the beach and the boardwalk. We enjoyed going to where the SkyWheel is every night without having to drive the car. We will definitely stay here again.

This is my favorite place to stay just wish they had kitchens so I can move in longer. The location is right at the beginning of the boardwalk and love that it's next door to the pier.

The clerk was nice upon arrival he helped as much as possible. The room smelled old. There was a dirty wet towel in the bathroom. The area didn't feel safe. Too many cigarette smells. The inside pool area was filthy. Kids were in the Jacuzzi beer bottles were left around food and trash were near the pool the water looked greenish. The outside pool was better would've been great if adults didn't have to smoke around children. Even when outside you can still smell it. Another guest was complaining about roaches in her room upon arrival. All parking was taken had to walk from a sketchy dark area across the street about a block away. Close to the beach so that was good. Overall the whole exp felt dirty and unsafe.

It's what you'd expect. Older hotel - Oceanfront Myrtle Beach. No bugs -- clean. THey don't rent to locals so no stupid party crowds on benders. Close to about everything. Indoor pool wasn't heated == but is was February. For the price -excellent.

for the price this place is great! you cannot pay for 2 stars and expect things to look 5 star! the property is ocean front and on the strip. have reasonable expectations and this place is amazing!

The beach was very wide, even during the high tide. Nice fishing pier next door, with very good restaurant; something for everyone. Could walk to the former pavilion and sky wheel areas, therefore leaving car at resort. Units were older, but clean.

I usually don't leave reviews, but I felt i needed to do this one.Well, first of all the shower had sand and pink mold in it. We went and bought bleach and cleaned it ourselves. The pumps and filters were apparently not working on the pool or lazy river. I felt the water jets and there was barely any flow coming from them. The pool was so cloudy and cold. We'll never visit again. Visit at your on risk

Budget friendly beware, you get what you pay for. Do NOT recommend. Pros: right on the water, two pools many things to do within walking distance. Brand new full size refrigerator in the room. Cons: The parking lot on the property is much smaller than the capacity of the hotel. The room was dirty: cigarette butt on the floor under a bed, some type of tube lid and a cigarette butt in the bathroom sink drain, pillows had stains, trash left behind under another bed. They’re listed as a 24/7 office yet they were closed when we tried to check out. There was no warning in advance that they would be. Sign said they would open at 5a, but they didn’t. I started calling the office at 5:12a (sign said they were closed for an audit) after calling for 10 minutes Shanequa answered and said they were closed. I told her I wanted to check out, and the sign said 5a. She begrudgingly came to the door. All she did was take my key card, I asked about a confirmation that I checked out and she said there wasn’t one. Wouldn’t stay here again.

I don't know how to begin first we got there got unpacked my husband laid back on the bed then the sheets and blanket were wet. Call maintenance he kind of was like well how'd it get wet and we're like I don't know we just got here so anyway probably had to beg him for sheets he brought some but no blanket finally he brought one but acted pissed off but I was the one that had to make the bed back up and everything. Then we went to get in the shower and it was clogged so we wound up standing in two or three inches of water while taking a shower. So we called down to the front office and he came up snake the drain good . We started noticing black mold in the corners of the room the carpet was so dirty that you couldn't walk on it would you feet black. Next morning I get up to go to the bathroom and I walked out thank God one of the panels came down in the bathroom and it just started pouring water all over the place got two or three inches in the bathroom running over into the carpet. We got there there's only two towels and two washcloths and we're supposed to be there 10 days so I go down there and she goes well how many you want like four and I was like yeah I guess for now but anyway , yeah went ahead and called Expedia and canceled our plans 7 days early because of this so I will . Very disappointed never go back here ever
