We paid for 2 seperate rooms. Both have issues Room 1 Door does not close properly Floor dirty with sand No soap to wash hands No shower gel Unused bed has sand on bed sheet and dirt marks from the previous guests There is no switch to switch the light off Room 2 Paid for balcony with sea view but door was broken and can’t open the door Bed was sandy Shower drain is not draining and stood in a pool of dirty water Bathroom is not very clean Elevator broken so had to climb up to the 8th floor Cockroaches Mosquitoes Vent for the A/C is mouldy

We had a great stay 10/10. The property is positioned greatly. The room was nice and each balcony had gas grill for braai. They have all you need on site but there are restaurants close in walking distance and a checkers less than 5 minutes away. The staff is great. I’d like to specifically thank Sandra for finding an additional night for us when it became available. We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the fire works were amazing. They put on quite a show for the guest. All of our food and drinks were good. We were ready to extend our trip a few more days how nice everything was but they were book solid. We are really appreciative for the extra night that we were able to book even though nothing was left online. The ocean views, the pool and the beach were all great. It was my first time visiting Balitto while visiting South Africa from the US and I’ll definitely be coming back on my future trips to this beautiful country. Thank you La Montagne staff keep being great.
