Great room. Virtual front desk was a problem when there were no extra supplies in the room. Had to call their 877 number to find where the “supply closet” was. Parking was not convenient, although available. Had to walk a way with all our bags. Tv never could connect to our streaming account. Nice pool a few blocks away at the sister property.

Quiet and trendy "inn" comprised of a common hall / check-in area (with board games and plenty of tables to play), a large courtyard with a "stage", a main building with roughly a half-dozen rooms and several separate cabins and camping trailers each featuring a room or two. Located in a quiet residential area, butting against a dry creek and a large field under massive trees. Outside looks super old and rusted, by design. Inside is wonderfully clean, modern, contemporary, comfortable and equally well decorated. End the evening by one of the several fire pits. And sip your morning coffee on your balcony watching the deers run nearby across the creek. Beds and linen are top quality. In-room amenities are excellent. Room #6 has a loft with two twin beds, a super-fun and original configuration for families. No food on site but several nice local coffee shops and restaurants a few minutes drive away. Surprising! Refreshing!

This is a “bed and NO breakfast” even though I’m sure it was advertised as a B&B. The swimming pool is not on site. You must drive to a separate hotel. (Not advertised as such, and most inconvenient). Furthermore, the automatic door locks malfunctioned leaving us outdoors for some time as the mosquitoes feasted on us. Then the ice machine failed. Luckily the caretaker bought some ice to save the day. On a positive note, the room was nice and clean. The AC worked flawlessly. We decided to just go home after one night of our 2 night stay. We figured we shouldn’t push our luck any further.

The rooms were comfortable, quiet, contemporary, and clean. Parking was easy. It was a very cold January weekend when we were there, so we really appreciated the outdoor fire pits and the plentiful, fragrant logs. It was awesome. Luckenbach, Bandera, Fredersicksburg, Kerrville and all the wineries and distilleries in between are close by. We will definitely stay there again.

Very quiet, rustic old ranch feel. The facility was clean, staff response to any needs was immediate. The use of the pool at their sister property just a 2 minute drive away made it very enjoyable.

The main reason I booked this stay was because they had a pool. I even called before booking to confirm that there was a pool. They show one in pictures and it is on the listing, but it is confusing because the pool isnt at this property. It is at their sister property down the street. We drove over there after check in and were so dissapointed to find that the pool was bright green and so cloudy that you couldnt see into it. I asked and was told it was safe to swim in but there is no way that water could be considered safe. It looked disgusting and had a foul smell. The lounge chairs also needed a cleaning. Didnt look at all like the pictures. When we gor back to our room later that night, we realized the room wasnt cooling. We had the ac down to 64 and still couldnt get the room to cool off. Combined with hard matresses, it was about the worst night sleep. Ialso found a long black hair on my pillow case which is not what you want to see when going to sleep. Just incredibly dissapointed with this stay and frustrated that even after providing feedback we werent offered any sort of discount. I should have been told about the pools condition when i called before booking.

The resort is right on the river where deer are plentifully right out back to watch along with a nice little creek. The cabin I had was immaculate, clean in all areas, great large tub to soak in, and the bed was clean and comfy. If you want to get away from it all in a little town, and a small cabin resort this is the place for you. They are attentive to you and even provide all you need to start a campfire in the pit outside with great chairs.

The property is fun and also peaceful with lots of amenities. It’s easy to access and close to town. The grounds are well kept and the staff is very responsive. One tip if you’re renting one of the RV’s; get the unit number so you know which one you rented. It was a not exactly intuitive and I couldn’t find it in my reservation or on the text info provided for check in. Each RV has a name and I couldn’t recall which was which. My bad for forgetting which unit was pictured on the site when I booked! The staff was very responsive when messaged. The RV came with dishes and utensils for cooking, had a nice hot (but small) shower, and a comfortable bed. I’d probably rent a cottage next time. RV living wasn’t my favorite thing but it was cool to try it out.

The room was lovely, the bathtub was huge, and there was a microwave, sink, wine refrigerator, and dishes/utensils. The was nice outside sitting spaces with firepits. It is on the edge of Comfort, TX but still two blocks from the historic downtown area. We walked it easily.

Beautiful setting along the riverbank. Tranquil area. Love the fire pits, party lights and atmosphere. Great location at the edge of some amazing motorcycle roads. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and bars. Comfortable beds with great linens, good shower pressure and very spacious room. We will be back. Thank you!

Beautiful property an easy walk from town. Very quiet and safe. Cleanliness got docked because there was hair in the shower and on the sheets. Would’ve been nice to have a few water bottles in the fancy mini fridge. Would be a perfect spot to host a family gathering with so many separate rooms and the fire pit/stage area for socializing.

This place has got potential to be 5 star but my experience was only average. They are supposed to text you 24 hours in advance for instructions on how to check-in. The morning of my stay i still didn't have a text so we were unable to plan properly for our arrival. There was mold on the shower curtain, really no reason that can't be replaced. Its a nice location, beautiful trees, dry creek, and reasonable amenities in our room. With a little more attention to detail this can be a really great place to stay.

Peaceful and serene! Super quiet area. Me and my husband traveled with other couples we had our privacy and the fire pits gave us a place to hang out and visit! Will definitely stay again. Rooms were clean and grounds were well manicured. Super easy check in and out.

There is so much to like about this property. Pros: Gorgeous views, beautiful places to walk on the property, spacious cabins. Cons: There’s so much gravel everywhere, it was just getting stuck in my shoes. There is a mention of a pool, but it is literally only for the airstream. It’s called a bed-and-breakfast, but there is no breakfast offered our room was for the most part very clean, except for the fridge was full of old, moldy food.

The property was incredibly clean and our cabin was well appointed. Self check-in was very convenient. There were a lot of thoughtful touches around camp property and the cabin that elevated our experience. Did I mention clean? We will definitely stay here again if we travel back to Comfort.

I had such a wonderful experience staying at Camp Comfort! Traveling solo with my dog, I was looking for a place that felt safe, peaceful, and welcoming — and Camp Comfort was absolutely perfect. The setting is beautiful and relaxing, with plenty of space for walks and quiet moments. The room was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully designed, and my dog felt right at home too! The staff were so friendly and accommodating, making the whole stay even better. I can’t wait to come back — it’s truly a hidden gem for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, especially if you’re bringing a furry friend along!

Camp Comfort was a quaint little place in Comfort, Texas. We rented a room which was very cute and nice. I love the wooden floors and the tub with airjets. It was a large tub that could easily fit two. It was our honeymoon and I would definitely stay here again. Also, the room was nice and cool. It had everything we needed.

The room is very cute & looks exactly as pictured. We had a small issue with water pressure in the shower but it was still adequate. The whole Camp is adorable.

The room was very clean and newly renovated. I do have to say however that the description of our room was misleading. It says that the room has 1 king bed and 2 twin beds. What the description fails to mention is that the twin beds are in an attic with a very low ceiling (you can't stand up straight) and to go up to the attic you need to climb a wooden ladder which I found was quite dangerous. I wouldn't feel safe having a child younger than 13 o 14 using that ladder or anyone over 40-45.

The only complaint we have about this place was that our bed was stiff. We are in our thirties and woke several times having to adjust our bodies to a different position, which was unfortunate because the comforter was really comfortable. I don’t feel you can really accommodate everyone’s needs for a good nights rest but hours later my shoulders still hurt.

The room was lovely, the bathtub was huge, and there was a microwave, sink, wine refrigerator, and dishes/utensils. The was nice outside sitting spaces with firepits. It is on the edge of Comfort, TX but still two blocks from the historic downtown area. We walked it easily.

Minisplit AIR CONDITIONER was exceptionally quiet! Silent actually!! So different from a normal hOtel room AC. NOone stomping abt above ur heads or down the hall. No HALL!! LOVELY QUIET PLACE outdoors on the creek.

Second stay at Camp Comfort and loved it! Bed is a little firm for our preference but still confortable and clean. Simple room with all you need for your stay. Love the large tub. Clean and comfortable! Pool was perfect after sunset. Definitely coming back!

Excellent customer service. We stayed at a king size room after making a mistake in our first booking. Office was so helpful and patient in helping us get the right room. The place is gorgeous inside and out with porches, fire pits and outdoor seating outside, and comfortable beds and fantastic tubs inside. We loved the history and the modern touches. Definitely will be staying here again.

Great room. Virtual front desk was a problem when there were no extra supplies in the room. Had to call their 877 number to find where the “supply closet” was. Parking was not convenient, although available. Had to walk a way with all our bags. Tv never could connect to our streaming account. Nice pool a few blocks away at the sister property.

We stayed here only one night and were pleased with our stay. The AC blew nice and cold all night(something essential for any Texas stay!). The room was thoughtfully stocked with plenty of towels, bottled water, coffee, and dishes. I greatly appreciated the communications I received via text before, during, and after our stay. This would be a great place to stay as a group or party for an event!

The ambiance of the property was spot on. Unfortunately this was overshadowed by the room now being ready for almost 3 hours after our check-in. There was a party going on outside till almost 12 am in the morning as well. We would have given this property a 5-star review had those issues not occurred.

This place was a great stay, room was spacious and clean. The staff was really kind and helpful , really on top of things. I loved the vibe of the property , it was really cool. I had no issues and would definitely stay there again if I’m ever back on that side of town.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Camp Comfort! We had an issue with the AC and it was handled IMMEDIATELY, which I’m very impressed with and thankful for. There are many cameras on the property which made us feel safe! Overall, 10/10!

The property is fun and also peaceful with lots of amenities. It’s easy to access and close to town. The grounds are well kept and the staff is very responsive. One tip if you’re renting one of the RV’s; get the unit number so you know which one you rented. It was a not exactly intuitive and I couldn’t find it in my reservation or on the text info provided for check in. Each RV has a name and I couldn’t recall which was which. My bad for forgetting which unit was pictured on the site when I booked! The staff was very responsive when messaged. The RV came with dishes and utensils for cooking, had a nice hot (but small) shower, and a comfortable bed. I’d probably rent a cottage next time. RV living wasn’t my favorite thing but it was cool to try it out.

I’m an older woman, and my daughter was helping me move this past week. We were exhausted with sore backs, and just needed a break from the chaos of moving. We found this little place online and it was incredibly cozy, comfortable, and perfect. We absolutely loved it and did not want to leave. Customer service was excellent, check in was a breeze, and did I mention we did not want to leave? We hope to stay with them again. Highly recommend!

This is definitely a place to visit! The staff is sooooo attentive! We stayed in one of their airstream mobile homes and loved it. It was cozy and sweet. Comfort Tx. is so close to many other big towns. However staying here will give you that small town vibe. It is a safe quiet place. We will DEFINITELY come back again!!!

Definitely recommend!! Cute cabins and campers. Grounds were nice. There’s a little creek and we saw deer by it the mornings. Some of the places around neighborhood were not so nice, but we never felt unsafe. Management was very helpful and quick to respond.

Inside is wonderfully clean, modern, contemporary, comfortable and equally well decorated. End the evening by one of the several fire pits. Room #6 has a loft with two twin beds, a super-fun and original configuration for families. No food on site but several nice local coffee shops and restaurants a few minutes drive away. Surprising! The rooms were comfortable, quiet, contemporary, and clean. Parking was easy. It was a very cold January weekend when we were there, so we really appreciated the outdoor fire pits and the plentiful, fragrant logs. It was awesome. Luckenbach, Bandera, Fredersicksburg, Kerrville and all the wineries and distilleries in between are close by. We will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely perfect! We wanted a family peaceful getaway and we were beyond impressed. The deluxe cabin was so cute with the ladder to the second floor for the kids. The view was beautiful as well. We had a fire pit right outside. Just a few blocks away is the cutest vintage shopping area, must see the 8th Street Market, especially around the holidays.

Beautiful setting along the riverbank. Tranquil area. Love the fire pits, party lights and atmosphere. Great location at the edge of some amazing motorcycle roads. Walking distance to restaurants, shops and bars. Comfortable beds with great linens, good shower pressure and very spacious room. We will be back. Thank you!

This is a “bed and NO breakfast” even though I’m sure it was advertised as a B&B. The swimming pool is not on site. You must drive to a separate hotel. (Not advertised as such, and most inconvenient). Furthermore, the automatic door locks malfunctioned leaving us outdoors for some time as the mosquitoes feasted on us. Then the ice machine failed. Luckily the caretaker bought some ice to save the day. On a positive note, the room was nice and clean. The AC worked flawlessly. We decided to just go home after one night of our 2 night stay. We figured we shouldn’t push our luck any further.

Great accommodations. Nothing cookie-cutter about it. Good, responsive, welcoming staff. Just wish they offered a breakfast because I'm sure they would do that well, too.The best place I have stayed on a 5000 mile road trip.

Comfort is a charming old historic town. Camp Comfort met our needs, even though us wasn’t what we expected. We stayed in an Airstream trailer, which was quite nice. The Camp is an old German athletic club with several cabins. Not your standard hotel, which is great. Places to have campfires and plenty of open spaces. The negative was no breakfast, due to Covid(?). We would stay there again.

There is so much to like about this property. Pros: Gorgeous views, beautiful places to walk on the property, spacious cabins. Cons: There’s so much gravel everywhere, it was just getting stuck in my shoes. There is a mention of a pool, but it is literally only for the airstream. It’s called a bed-and-breakfast, but there is no breakfast offered our room was for the most part very clean, except for the fridge was full of old, moldy food.

Stayed here for the quiet night and stream. What I got was loud music from the front building 3 pm-6 pm. Kids running around unsupervised and knocking on the door. Then around 7 pm the noise level trippled and I loom out to see people partying at the fire pit outside my room. The owner rents out the front building and outside firpit and stage for private parties for people that were not even staying at the hotel. Why show a nice outside area and fire pit in photos and then rent it out so guest can not enjoy. Music was so loud I could hear it through my door.

I was pleasantly surprised about the cabin and the grounds for camp comfort. You have a little kitchenette, big bathroom, and two big queen size beds. When I had question everything was answered via text immediately. Very good customer service. They have a sister Hotel that has a pool you can use. I can only say positive things.

We stayed in a cute Airstream, called Bambi. Very quiet and no other guests running around at night keeping you awake like in some hotels. Quick drive to area hot spots like Remedy Hall, Cocky Rooster Bar, and Comfort Pizza were great! Very friendly people in this small community. Camp Comfort is pretty and calming.
