La Dime de Giverny - Cottages

Beautifully renovated cottage, amazing! We did not take the breakfast - as we had the great kitchenette in the cottage - anything one might need! Someone put a lot of thinking in this cottage. Highly appreciated!

Very walkable to Claude Monet’s Giverny house and garden

Nous avions hâtes d’y séjourner au vu des notes! Mais nous avons été extrêmement déçus. C’est surcôté. Ceci n’est pas une maison d’hôtes pour moi, car aucun sens de l’accueil. Petit déjeuner donné au compte goûte. Nous avions demandé si c’était possible d’avoir un croissant en plus. La réponse était que ce n’était pas possible! A 250 euros la nuit! Le style des chambre est joli et la propriété est grande, mais il y’avait pas mal d’araignées dans la nôtre.

The grounds were beautiful. The breakfast offerings were awful. The narrow staircase to the bedroom had no safe railing or lighting.

What a delight to find this gem. It has to be the most special place to stay in Giverny. We were fortunate to arrive at lunch and the cafe was open and serving. The food was excellent for meal. Our breakfast was served at our table in the morning and surpassed anything we found in our two week travel through France. This is really the only place to consider staying at in Giverny. Stay two nights!
