The staff was great. The pool however needs a good cleaning, towels were usually out or running low. Bathroom in room also can use a good cleaning and repairs. Breakfast was ok.

Nice property, staff was helpful. Right across the street from a mall and some restaurants, plus they have a restaurant on site. Breakfast was great.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Fairlawn and was very pleased with the experience. The hotel’s location is also very practical for nearby shopping, dining, and highway access. Would stay again.

Check-in and check-out was smooth. Complimentary breakfast had a good spread and the staff was constantly cleaning the counters/tables and making sure it was stocked. Rooms were comfy and clean. Only negatives - our fridge was not cold and we wish there was a hot tub for after using the fitness area. Overall, great stay.

Overall nice room, comfortable stay. The pool was OK, not as clean as the rest of the property, no towels available for use. The breakfast was on the lower end of what you would expect from the hotel such as this. They were out of several things, including fruit, juices, and other staples.

The ice machine and the pool were out of order. The elevator and hallways were dirty. Everything is dated. Our in laws in the room next to ours found dried blood on their sheets. The restaurant menu was disgusting.

Very nice and clean, close to dinning. I thought it was advertised with a hot tub it did not have one.

The room was nasty blankets weren't changed we complained to room service they didn't do anything for hours almost till it was time to check out I will never stay here again

Hotel rooms were not clean enough. Cobwebs in the window, smudge marks, hand prints on the bathroom door, bathroom floor tile not clean. We wiped the floor with towels and lots if dirt was on the towels. Public areas were clean. Breakfast was good and staff very pleasant. Desk staff was nice.

Overall experience was fine, front desk was awesome. Room has been surface wiped for too long and is in need of deep cleaning. Worst part was plenty of black mold under toilet rim. Room is presentable if you're not looking too closely. Bed was super comfy, pillows are amazing, and all that was clean. Has fridge and in room coffee, everything worked, nothing broken, just in need of deep cleaning, new caulk in the tub and that kind of thing.

The desk staff was wonderful and the bed was comfortable. However, one of the drawers under the television had 5 of what looked like used washrags in it. The bottom sheet on the bed had a huge stain on it. The tub was a Jacuzzi tub with jets - the jets and filter were filthy and the shower head was dirty.

The Toilet was dirty and mold inside. Bathroom was not cleaned and dust on all surfaces. I had to check out.

Great breakfast and staff, great location. Bed was really comfortable. Room was not very clean. Hairs on the shower, stains on the linens (bed and towels) and you could see that it was not deep cleaned in most areas. Lights flickered a lot, very noisy fridge.

The room is sparsely furnished which is fine. The room carpet needs replacement or at least a good cleaning. It was the bathroom that was disgusting. The bath tub had mould on the edges. The shower curtain was torn, filthy and stinking! My partner refused to shower in there!

The front desk ladies were wonderful. King room was clean. Bed comfort wasn’t bad. Location was nice. Could hear the group that stayed in the room above us come in super late and tromp all over their room and what sounded like, dropping stuff on the floor. Surprised I could them so well.

Hotel was very nice. Rooms large and clean. Plenty of parking and booked rooms not too expensive.

Got there after a hit of confusion. Check in was smooth. Lots of restaurants close by to choose from. Awful weather that evening but felt safe in the room. The shades were awesome for keeping our room dark so we could sleep in. Continental breakfast was good.

This property appeared to great at first glance. It is in a great area close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. The restaurant attatched to the hotel waa delish, convenient, and the service was top notch. The issues began the first night when we went to get into bed. One bed was fine, the other felt damp. Upon further inspection, we noticed a ton of yellow stains on the sheets. I went to the front desk and told them about the issue. I requested that they change the bed sheets for us. The lady at the desk informed me that they didnt have any clean sheets. I alao told her that the state of our bathroom was unacceptable as there was mold all over the outside shower curtain. She said she didnt have access to those either. She tried to have us switch rooms (at 11:30 at night after all of our things were unpacked for our stay). I asked if i could look at that room first. The bathroom in that room was spotless, however, one of the beds also had stains in plain sight. We ended up taking the bed sheets off the clean bed in the other room to remake our original bed (ourselves). The next staff member that came in for the front desk changed our shower curtain. The 2nd night we noticed we had only gotten 3 towels (we had 4 adults in our room). When we went to the front desk again (same lady as the night before) she again said they had no clean towels. We had to go down a 2nd time and tell her that was not acceptable and miraculously she found a clean towel. We wouldn't stay here again

This hotel charged me again for my 3 night stay even though I paid through Expedia. I went to the front desk and the young man said he would take care of it and will credit the charges back, but nothing happened. I went back the next morning and talk with a lady and she took my name, and number, and said she would have the manager to contact me, and will have the to it fix. The next morning there was a credit, but a few hours later they charged me again. I will not be staying here ever again! Please Beware!!

Checkin time is later than most places, 4:00. Arrived close to 5 and room wasn’t ready. They were supposed to call me when it was ready, but didn’t. I called about 5:45 and I was told it was ready.Not cool! Manager was looking into a discount but didn’t apply anything.

Upon arrival, we were told our room would be ready in 15 minutes. Our room was not ready for over an hour.

I told the front desk person it was a prepaid reservation but they charged me twice. Then they said they couldn’t credit the amount back because I had to wait till the next morning to discuss it with the volte manager, starting 7am. The next morning same story. The person in charge at the front desk said the Manager was not it that day and I had to give them a call to discuss my claim. Very very upset and disappointed

Staff was helpful and friendly.

Rooms were not ready at check in time, lobby was full of angry guests. When a room was ready it was a double not a king i had reserved but I was charged the same amount. The room was disappointing in cleanliness.

The hotel was nice, and appeared updated. It was an easy drive to Blossom Music Center, and the staff were nice. The breakfast was good as well with decent options.

Very nice place. It’s quiet even though it’s on a very busy street. A nice mall across the street with many restaurants around it. Friendly staff and nice rooms.,

Clean, spacious. Recently renovated and allowed for late check-out. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Nice clean hotel. Weekend breakfast was limited on Sunday morning for som reason.

Room was clean and comfortable, The staff was very efficient and helpful. They had a nice breakfast offering, small cheese omelettes , muffins. bacon, yogurt , sausage and more. We would stay there again.

Fast check-in. Better than average breakfast options. Good WiFi.

Friendly, helpful staff from start to finish. Room was what you’d expect with Dove soap toiletries (I liked that). Plenty of plugs and lights and thank God the heater worked because it was 10 degrees outside! The breakfast (complimentary) was impressive! Hot stuff , cold stuff, way more than the typical stale muffins some hotels offer. I visit Akron often and will be back when I do.

Facility is modern. Would not recommend the breakfast.
