Family of 4 stayed 5 nights in Deluxe Double Room with Sauna. Despite the spacious room and the nice view, the hotel failed on basic expectations such as room comfort, cleanliness and security. Due to this I can not recommend this hotel. Room comfort. The lack of air condiditon made sleeping uncomfortable and difficult. After sunny days between 20-29 degrees, the bedroom temperature remained over 25 degrees for most of the night. Opening windows, only using the duvet cover and applying the two noisy fans did not mitigate this problem. Cleanliness We found a double digit number of Longtail Silverfish (Ctenolepisma longicaudatum) on the bathrooms. These insects may easily entre suitcases and become a permanent feature back home. When informing the hotel, this was said to be expected due to proximity to nature. During checking in there was also a long hair in one of the beds and on the floor. Security. The hotel is unmanned at night. This may lead to a number of inconveniences, such as the one we experienced. The fire alarm went off at 02:00 one night, so we quickly evacuated. About 30 guests where standing outside for 20minutes listening to the alarm without anything happening. We eventually called the fire department. Shortly after a technician arrived by car and turned off the alarm. The fire department and police arrived around 35minutes after the alarm went off. According to the fire martials, the hotel has no automatically warning of the fire dept. if fire.

The views from our apartment were absolutely wonderful - much better than the blurb on the internet suggested. Absolutely beautiful views of the lake vista with huge windows across the entire view. Amazing. Loved sitting on the large balcony at night, watching the day turn to dusk and then night time. Perfect and luxurious. Although the location is up the hill (hence the brilliant views), there is a handy shortcut using the number 71 bus which saved the legs on more than one occasion. The apartment was super-spacious, with loads of storage and hanging for clothes and places to store bags. The beds were large and comfortable. Showers fantastic - much needed after a hot day in the summer. Downsides for us: 1) no instructions for using the hob or cooker. We could not get the hob to work - in the end someone came up to show us and the issue was the wrong pan. Easily remedied, but frustrating after a long day of travelling. We also spent about an hour trying to change the instructions on the cooker from Arabic to English after someone said they would come up but didn't show. Simply changing this or leaving instructions would have been really helpful as even with Google translate it was tough. 2) No air con - mostly this wouldn't be an issue but in the height of summer it was hot given so many windows. We made it work by closing the curtains during the day. 3) Wasps. An issue across Zell but some wasp traps would have possibly helped minimize this further.

The room was super stylish and well equipped with a great terrace and lake view. Spotlessly clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The in-room sauna was amazing. The location is good and only a short walk down into town. Highly recommend.

Beautiful room overlooking the lake. Free parking available which was convenient. Sauna was An added bonus. Comfy bed and pillows. There was a hairball in the bathroom and trash already in the can so unsure if the toilet area was cleaned. The rest of the room was great. Only other complaint was no air conditioner. For such a nice property it should have had air. They did supply a fan but it was SO loud it made it hard to sleep.

Très belle chambre. Un peu loin à pied du centre ville de Zell am see (en haut dune côte) mais se fait très bien quand même. Nous avons été situé au dernier établissement ce qui a été pratique car un stationnement était disponible proche de notre chambre. Nous aurions aimé écouter Netflix mais il n’était pas disponible sur la TV. Seulement les postes de TV en allemand disponible. L’accueil s’est très bien déroulée.
