We make a stop overnight to take a break from a long drive. We got a king suite, it was more like a standard room but for the cost it was worth it. The indoor pool was freezing but my son still liked it.

I asked if it was possible to get an early check in and they said come now, noon. My only quibble was the pool was cold and the water looked a little mrky. The room was nice though

I like the modern style of furniture, decorations and utilities, essential but elegant. The bed was very comfortable and the room smelled fresh and clean. The EV charging capabilities are ok but a bit expensive. The desk is compact but functional, and the slim chair surprisingly comfortable. I will certainly keep it in mind when I travel again to this area. Highly recommended.

Bed was comfortable. There is a Japanese restaurant across the parking lot which is very good. Kayleigh at check-in is very nice and friendly. The pool was clean and I had it all to myself . All in all a nice, quiet stay.

Great little hotel if of I81. Very friendly staff and streamlined service. Darci was exceptional. Rooms are small but very nicely appointed and clean. Hot coffee in the lobby when we arrived. Decent breakfast. Indoor pool and fitness center. Definitely recommend.

Friendly staff, but the room smelled of stale air, the king bed had broken springs with a big hollow part on one side, the pillows were hard and lumpy, there was only one regular coffee pod instead of the customary two. Additionally, my daughter found blood on the underside of the sofa bed mattress when she was putting the sheets on it!

Cleanliness in room bathrooms could be better. Some have mold but they are quick and happy to clean it if you bring it up to them and/or change you to a different room. Manager is really understanding and nice, as well as the rest of the staff.

The shower was stained and the toilet was not completely cleaned. There was feces on the seat. They have half pillows not full ones. Everything for breakfast was cold and they did not have real half/half for the coffee. The rooms were clean overall.

It was just a quick night stay, location was perfect for hat I was doing in town and it felt safe. Gentleman who checked me it was extremely pleasant. Unfortunately there were hairs left in shower that were obviously not mine and I found that extremely gross, rest of room was clean. Also entry door did not close on its own so I came back to find room not locked after breakfast. I would stay at this hotel again.

This hotel has the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever come in contact with!!! If there are any issues they are always quick to correct problem and make things right. I can always expect a super clean room and easy check in and check out. I won't stay at any other hotel, since I've found the Microtel Inn & Suites in Winchester, VA!!

I loved the simplicity of hooks and shelving (rather than drawers. Beds were comfy, too. The one thing that we didn’t like was the loud fan/light in the bathroom. We like to keep the bathroom light on with the door ajar to find our way into the bathroom during the night and not falling or knocking into something.

The walls are incredibly thin. You can hear every word being spoken in the rooms on either side and in the hallway. Would not recommend if you are looking for a relaxing stay or a good night sleep

For the price it is ok. Walls are paper thin. We were there for a week woken up 1 morning buy a bunch of guys getting up at 4 to get on the road, 2 mornings due to neighbor’s CPAP buzzing, and 1 evening when several people who don’t understand indoor voices came in at 11:30 and continued to make noise in the hallway. But overall, the hotel is in great condition for the traffic they likely get. Staff is great - except for one surly clerk early Christmas Morning who was not very understanding of the frustration of being woken out of a deep sleep by a buzzing CPAP and how at that point a guest does not want a lecture in how to properly register a complaint - I just want it to stop! All in all, it was a good stay though.

The rooms were okay and clean but nothing special. We skipped breakfast. Front desk staff were not properly trained. The entrance way was not good. No drive thru and we had to unpack in the rain so didn’t start off welll. The hotel is built in block shape with nothing interesting at all. You can find better for the money elsewhere.

Nice property, quiet location and very clean rooms! I checked in late on New Years Eve and was put in a room next to a noisy family. Staff at the front desk were super nice about it and quickly and easy moved me to a quiet room with no issues.

The guest service personnel apparently hates her job, or was having a bad day. You had a scold on her face during our entire interaction. Whenever i asked her a question, she was abrupt and cut me off. As for the room, it was one of an adjoing with another guest/s. They were loud most of the night. My bathroom was dirty. I had gloves with me and I cleaned before I went in. The rest of the room was ok, the bed sheets was clean.

Checked in after an exhausting trip and immediately laid down for a nap. Well the family in the next room had a baby that was crying loudly for quite awhile (30-45 minutes), so I went down to the front desk and explained the situation. The young lady immediately booked me into another room. We didn’t hear any noise at all for the entire night! Then, the next morning, we left and travelled 500 miles north by car. And when we arrived, I discovered that I didn’t have my cell phone!! It had apparently fell out of my purse pocket at the hotel and when I called they had it! Mystic sent it to my home via UPS. I am thrilled with the service I received from this team at Microtel, Winchester, VA!! Truly Outstanding!!!

Friendly staff. Clean, minimalist room decor. Located in proximity to highway, so you can hear traffic noise at night. Spartan, uninviting free breakfast bar (however, there is a Denny's across the street). The town center of Winchester is about a five minute drive away. Okay for a one night stay.

Very close to Rt. 81 - easy access in and out. Close to a gas station with a convenience store. Also within close walking distance to a nice Japanese restaurant. The hotel itself is new and clean. I liked walk-in shower - great water pressure. Hot breakfast was okay. For my 1-night stay, the hotel worked out great. However, I’m not sure I would have liked the room as much for a longer stay because there wasn’t much drawer space to store clothes. Very close to Rt. 81 - easy access in and out. Close to a gas station with a convenience store. Also within close walking distance to a nice Japanese restaurant. The hotel itself is new and clean. I liked walk-in shower - great water pressure. Hot breakfast was okay. For my 1-night stay, the hotel worked out great. However, I’m not sure I would have liked the room as much for a longer stay because there wasn’t much drawer space to store clothes. Great location, just off the I-81. Room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable as well. The TV had many channels. Coffee was available 24 hours down in the lobby. Breakfast was OK ....cheese omelet with potatoes, yoghurt, etc... Great Japanese restaurant within walking distance of hotel Hotel is a great value for what we paid.

Nice clean hotel. Simple but modern and everything we needed for a one or two night stay. Friendly staff and well priced. Only disappointment - breakfast was sub par. Little variety and most everything was cold. Even the coffee. But we stayed again on our return. Just had breakfast and coffee elsewhere.

The hotel is an inexpensive, but well-designed hotel. The room easily accommodated two queen beds and included a microwave, etc. The folks at the front desk were warm and welcoming. The problem was breakfast. I opened the cover to find that, at 8:00 a.m., there was neither eggs nor bacon and had to request that they replenish the two. I had to take the Raisin Bran canister and shake it to get any out—and then discover that the milk pitcher was empty. I thought, in the absence of eggs, bacon, or milk, that I would have a danish. I put it in the microwave—and the microwave didn’t work. (The folks at the front desk had to do some magic to turn it on). I decided to try the coffee, but the coffee was cold. The guy in the table beside resigned himself to a cold bagel and an apple. Not a great breakfast experience. So, comfortable room, comfortable bed, disappointing breakfast experience

When we walked in we were met with kindness and check in was very easy. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. Good location and close to plenty of food and shopping. The provided breakfast consisted of bacon, eggs, cereal, danish, a variety of bagels, fruit and yogurt and then a pancake machine. All were very good and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was good, very nice room. The breakfast was awful, no fruit or yogurt as in the past, no bread, stale bagels and rubbery eggs. Was told they get a food delivery tomorrow. So they serve rubbery eggs, some ham and stale bagels to their customers who are expecting a good breakfast. Everyone does not get the same level of breakfast every day, just when they have enough food? The women at the desk did not seem to even care. I will not be back nor will I ever recommend to my friends traveling south. Extremely disappointed I paid for an included breakfast and ended up going somewhere else.

We love staying at this hotel. It's always clean. The staff is friendly. The rooms are nice with very comfortable beds. They serve a nice free breakfast with hot choices and a big variety. 😋 There's a fitness room and an indoor heated pool. 24 hour coffee bar.

Everything was very clean and new. The staff were all very helpful and nice. The road noise from the highway was disturbing. The water pressure was terrible and the 24 hour coffee was rarely fresh. I would also have liked more than one pillow.
