Very helpful and professional front desk staff. Nice pool and breakfast. Comfortable rooms, adequate parking. Right next to Glendale Galleria.

Stayed here many times and I would highly recommend. Great location for mall and restaurants. Hotel is spotless, room are spacious and the breakfast in the morning is amazing. Pool is great although not a huge pool it is adequate, comfy pool chairs to relax on. All the staff are hard working and a credit to this hotel.

Upon check in room AC makes a loud sound and was downgraded to a smaller room, we needed to return most of our luggages back to our vehicle as they promised to move us to a similar room on the next day, we told them that we are going to be at universal studious the whole day and imagine all of your belongings are still inside you vehicle, in top of that, when we were moved to the smaller room and when I was going to take a shower, there was no shower gel, I have to call the front desk again to request that! The next day when we got back we were place at the the highest floor and the room had only two towels, we are a family of four and after spending the whole day at Universal Studios , of course all of us wanted to take a bath and shower, my wife called the front desk and requested for two towels and face towels! The place is pretty used up for a newer hotel in Glendale! There were no laundry too for hotel guests and all of the ice makers were broken it started on the 5th flor and then all of them broke!!! The good side was accessibility of the hotel to The Americana and Glendale galleria. Hampton Inn has good parking with reasonable price and nice breakfast daily!

The hotel is well maintained and the location is convenient. Glad that cash payment is accepted. Located directly across the street from Pasadena Galleria and convenient walking distance dining options. Staff is friendly, parking garage is secure and free breakfast is very good. Recommended!

Our room (2 queen beds, “accessible” room) was located RIGHT ON THE STRIP, super loud traffic even on a Sunday night. It was pretty bad. Even at 11pm. Sirens, muscle cars. Staff was great… Amilcar was super helpful! Forgot a toothbrush and he delivered!. Parking… $26 extra. Workout room was closed and disgusting (you could smell the mold, and ceiling had water damage). We asked for a partial refund as one of the reasons we stayed here was because of the workout room. They honored that, plus comped the parking fee. Walkable to the galleria was nice! Dinner at Seasons Spice was yummy… about a 10-15 min walk. Breakfast options were average… coffee, tea, oatmeal, yogurt - hard boiled eggs, waffle maker, light pastries. No oat or soy milk options. But it was ok! If I were to to stay here again, would ask for a different room and make sure the online description was updated w hotel before booking. Lesson learned.

Good location and very clean. Great breakfast with lots of options. The only issue we had was that the parking garage was full when we returned from dinner. Had to go into the lobby to ask what to do because they didn’t tell us there was a second garage when we checked in and paid for parking. But there was plenty of parking in the other garage so problem solved!

Loved that this hotel was next door to the trendy and upscale Glendale outdoor shopping mall where there were high end and economical stores, even a Target as well as Nordstroms and Bloomingdale’s. great restaurants there too. And the Neon Museum is nearby, wish I had a chance to check that out. Super comfy beds and pillows, microwave and fridge in our room. Spacious bathroom counter. Delicious breakfast options every morning. Didn’t want to pay for on site parking so we were able to find free street parking nearby. The only downside is that the pool is on the small side. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is a great location for shopping and dining options. Not too far from universal. I would of given this hotel higher stars except the bedroom head boards are peeling and the bath tub and sink had mold. Staff was friendly- front desk, housekeeper, and dining staff. Parking was veru convenient

The bathroom has such a strong smell of bleach that we could not stay in the room.

The first room I was in was moist, but I didn't complain, just needs to dry out. The floors were dirty enough to need at least socks at all times. There was an AC fan that vibrated loudly, hotel switched me to another room... Right above the laundry. Being in California and never having been in an earthquake, I thought I was in an earthquake until I recognized the pattern of the machine. You can feel the vibration all over the room. Obviously an old bldg, but needs some serious work. The tub needs to be recaulked and the toilet seat needs to be tightened or replaced.

We liked the hotel however our room 524, needs a good cleaning. Carpet around the bed was dirty. The couch appears to be dirty. The mini fridge wobbles every time you open the door and comes out of the cabinet. The ice machine on the floor didn’t work. Bed headboard is pealing. Window sheer curtains are torn and dirty.

Room was supposedly a non-smoking room but smelled very smoky. The bathroom floor was also very sticky everywhere. The staff was very kind and moved me to a different room. That room was much cleaner. Unfortunately both rooms seemed very run down. The headboards had peeling vinyl. The toilet seat was so loose that it moved several inches side to side. The light fixture was mounted crooked on the wall, and the desk chair was stained and ragged from wear. I should have stayed at the cheaper place next door. I’m sure it would have been nicer. This place really makes me question the Hampton brand. I would never stay here again.

breakfast was tasty with lots of options and the location is great, but unfortunately our sheets were dirty, there was no hot water and very little water pressure, and there are a limited number of parking spaces in the garage. would not stay here again.

The property its self was ok. The staff was very nice and friendly. The gentleman at the bar was really nice. The room had some rips in the head board. There was no caulking around the shower or outside the shower. There were dirt stains on the outside of the tub. The toilet paper handle was lose. The ac & heat did to work at all. The thermostat needs to be updated. The breakfast had no flavor at all. The oatmeal was tasteless.

We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again! Breakfast was until 10 which let us sleep in longer love that! Food was good too. We had a great view as well!

This hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. There's a nice lobby area and patio area to hangout in. Breakfast has eggs, sausage, and potatoes in addition to your standard continental options. Room was clean and beds were comfy. The Americana and Glendale Galleria were across the street for shopping and dining. Only complaints I have were the fridge didn't get that cold and the AC was a bit loud. Also road noise from the street was a bit loud. But I would stay here again.

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was a suite. It included a sofa, extra large television, a large desk/table with ample plugs for all of our electronics, desk chair, a couple of extra movable seating options, small sofa table, decent sized closet, several options for housing whatnots, a small refrigerator with its own wet bar area, a small (but decent) bathroom - however, the hand washing sink was outside of the bathroom area. Although this is fine in one’s own toilet area, I do not care for this in a hotel. The room had floor to ceiling windows, as I run a bit hot, I called to ask about the air conditioning. Although it was set at 64 degrees, I was still hot. I contacted the front desk (it was late at night as we had just returned from a concert), despite the late hour, the phone was promptly answered, as this was the coldest setting on the thermostat I was quickly provided with a fan. The gentleman was very kind and asked if I needed assistance sitting it up. This comment was made in a kindly manner and much appreciated despite my not needing assistance. Shopping and dining was either right across the street or within a short walking distance. At no time did we feel unsafe. As this is an older hotel (despite it being very clean) it could use some updating. Parking was fine. I would have appreciated a safe in the room. The breakfast area was clean, the staff constantly checked to ensure we had enough. The breakfast was flavorful. We will stay again.

The location is great. The room we got was absolutely awful. We stayed here a year ago and had a nice room. This time we were given a small dark room where the outside light was blocked by a massive wall. For the amount of money we paid, we expected a regular room.

Too noisy due to the hotel is on a busy street, you might have problem sleeping at night if you are a light sleeper, hotel should do a better job on sound-proof especially for the rooms next to the street.

After a horrible travel experience with the airline, our stay began with exceptional service from Jonathan and continued throughout our stay. Every single employee we encountered got it right. Professional, polite, accomodating, friendly, happy, etc. Bravo to this staff and the hotel for such a high level of customer service.

Main lovby staff gave our room to other guests to so they opened the door and walked into the room at 10:30pm while we were sleeping. Our key cards were deactivated, no one apologized. Only said I just started my shift. Horrible service

There were no drawers for clothes, and no clock. Also, the wooden door to the refrigerator just fell off when we opened it. We had no idea how to use the heat until we called guest services. The guy we spoke to was great and explained how to use the heat in the room. But it wasn't obvious, and there should be an instruction card in the room. Hot water in the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was ok. But I would like to give a real thumbs up to Lourdes at the front desk. We asked her to arrange for us to get a taxi to go to the airport (we don't like Uber), and she was polite, friendly, and got it done for us with great efficiency. We really appreciated that.

My 82 year old mother walks slowly and they put us on the 3rd floor furthest room from elevator. Headboard was worn, covered by a pillow. Room was dusty and carpet was filthy. Cost more than what my reservation said. Called for late check out which they said was complimentary but called back saying the room was booked on a Thursday and we can’t check out early. I’ve machine broken on our floor, breakfast was cold and woman doing the food was rude. And Netflix button on remote but not available without a subscription. Elevator had dog food spilled and no one cleaned up until next day

Excellent customer service.

I made the reservation on Friday night and the front desk person was upset that we showed up late. Her attitude about a late check-in was so horrible. We had to wait to check in for over an hour and we had just arrived after an eight hour drive. I will not stay at this hotel again.

This location is so conveniently situated! It’s across the street from the largest shopping mall in the area (and a Target nearby for more thrifty purchases), banking, and plenty of good eats. There’s easy street access and off-street parking, to boot. The staff are above and beyond professional cordiality, but even more so convivial, helpful, and ready to assist as best as possible!

We arrived and found parking right away close to lobby entrance. Check in was also a breeze. We had an issue with the tv remote and maintenance came soon after we called to fix the issue.

The room had everything we needed and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and had a good selection. The staff were very kind and helpful. This is our second time staying and we will always look to stay here when we visit!

Great location in downtown Glendale walkable to many restaurants and the Galleria. But even though we were in the heart of the action, it was also very quiet in our room. Covered parking is a plus. Nice amenities too. Front desk staff was very helpful.

Clean room, outdated worn room, breakfast only had boiled eggs no scrambled eggs, when asked a worker they commented thats all they had , been her multiple times this time they came short on service

The breakfast was the worst meal I have ever had. Lights and side tables were loose and very old. The bathroom was not clean; most of the washing liquids were empty.

Very pleasant stay. The room was great. Clean, well maintained, comfortable. Breakfast was very good for an included breakfast and had many options. Staff was always super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay.
