Warm welcome by excellent staff despite limited operating hours. Very good food both for dinner in its own restaurant and bar, and breakfast in its separate dining room. Outside seating area perfect for a drink in the sunshine with fantastic views of the yachts and boats on the estuary and beyond to Isle of Bute. No lift but adequate bedroom with good looking shower which however contained no gran bars, no soap tray, and no toiletries inside the shower cubicle. Solely a rainfall shower. Overall a very comfortable well situated hotel in a quiet location and small viiiage where required good dining facilities in house with alternatives a good walk away. Decent value and would stay again if the opportunity arises.

We had a lovely stay at the Kames hotel. It was really busy and buzzing but the staff still took the time to make is feel really welcome. The meal in the evening was delicious and our little dog enjoyed the treats. Would certainly visit again 😁

Amazing place . Great owner everything is perfect fab room with great views . Room is immaculate . Food great all locally sourced ! Excellent
