My mum and I had an amazing experience here. Such a quaint little English lodging. Exceptional dinner and solid breakfast the next morning. Everyone was so friendly! Jo had fantastic knowledge of the area and sent us on a cute walk to meet some local bees! Special shout out to Barney the cute doggo! If we ever make it back to England we will definitely be back!

My mum and I had an amazing experience here. Such a quaint little English lodging. Exceptional dinner and solid breakfast the next morning. Everyone was so friendly! Jo had fantastic knowledge of the area and sent us on a cute walk to meet some local bees! Special shout out to Barney the cute doggo! If we ever make it back to England we will definitely be back!

A nice quiet spot to stay, out in the country, it offers a lovely menu but the downside to this is it attracts many people for the evening, who make a fair amount of noise! The place is well kept and clean. I didn’t find the double bed particularly comfortable but that may be just me!

Lovely Inn on outskirts of Swindon by Lydiard Park. Friendly staff nothing too much trouble. Room was large with comfy beds ample tea/coffee. En-suite was clean and well sized except square shower cubicle was a little small when you’re used to one a bit larger. Breakfast cooked to order with quality ingredients. Large free car park. Definitely book again as a regular visitor and prefer the character Inn over clinical Travelodge type hotel.

Booked in for an overnight stay with my wife and 13yo son as we were visiting friends in the area. From the moment we arrived until we left the service and hospitality was first class. Our room was basic but was spotlessly clean and what struck me was it had a fresh smell about it. The room had everything you need for a one night stopover. We decided to have our evening meal in the restaurant/pub and the service and food was top class. We each had a different meal and none of the dishes disappointed. The breakfast in the morning was based on whatever you wanted ..plenty of fruit and cereal with the hostess willing to cook anything you wanted. The overnight stay plus evening meal was very reasonably priced and I could not recommend this establishment high enough.

Good value for money. Room a bit tired and mattress not to my liking , very soft. But room was clean and tidy. Could hear occupants of room next door snoring during the night. Would recommend due to how cheap it was.

The evening staff were friendly on checkin and dining - they couldn’t have been more helpful. The service was excellent and food fabulous. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely but only one staff member doing everything and feel he was struggling a little. I would highly recommend this Hotel and would stay again

Enjoyable stay. Our room was a good size and very pleasant. Tea/coffee biscuits provided which is a nice touch. Room a little warm but hadn't realised radiator was on. Didn't have breakfast, but will next time.

We arrived at 20:38, tired and hungry after a long journey, to be told, much to the amusement of the receptionist come waitress it seemed, that the kitchen had just closed and that they weren't going to make an exception even for guests at the hotel.

There were 4 couples staying for the weekend. The team, especially Jo, couldn’t do enough for us, whether it was drinks in the garden, excellent food for dinner and breakfast and were consistently helpful!

My mum and I had an amazing experience here. Such a quaint little English lodging. Exceptional dinner and solid breakfast the next morning. Everyone was so friendly! Jo had fantastic knowledge of the area and sent us on a cute walk to meet some local bees! Special shout out to Barney the cute doggo! If we ever make it back to England we will definitely be back!

A gem of a hotel with amazing food and exemplary customer service. Perfect as a destination hotel for a short break or a stop over. Highly recommended. Book early as it’s popular.

A wonderful one night stay. Immediately made to feel welcome on arrival and our room was big and super clean with a lovely comfy bed. We hadn’t booked the table as we were uncertain of our arrival time but they were able to squeeze us in. The food was some of the best we have had and all homemade! Desserts to die for. We only had a continental breakfast as we were still full from dinner but again the toast was made with delicious bread. Would definitely recommend this hotel to stay and to eat.

The evening staff were friendly on checkin and dining - they couldn’t have been more helpful. The service was excellent and food fabulous. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was lovely but only one staff member doing everything and feel he was struggling a little. I would highly recommend this Hotel and would stay again

A fabulous stay. Lovely rural location, fabulously spacious and comfortable room. The bed was really comfy. The greeting and service were outstanding, as is the food served.

It was amazing stay. I stayed for short time like it was stop on my long journey. But the room was amazing, clean. The staff was amazing. The view in the morning on backyard was amazing and peaceful. Perfect value of money.

We found the hotel room and restaurant more than what we expected. It’s excellent and I must say worth going again and again and also staff is so good and friendly. Food is so good too. We loved it.

My room was lovely and clean including the mattress, mattress protector and pillows. There were plenty of milk pots for tea and coffee too. Also, some bottled water which was a nice touch with the summer weather. With it being very hot at night, Rob let me have an extra sheet so I could stay cool rather than using the duvet. Breakfast was just right, can't comment on the cooked option as I had the Continental which was very reasonably priced with a nice selection of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, toast and pastries and very importantly served from 7:30 am as i was on a business trip rather than leisure. One minor issue, in the bathroom the shower head doesn't fit in the shower cradle however, the towels were very soft, white and fluffy which made up for it.

Nice spacious room; was noisy being next to busy road and with it being hot had to have window open so that didn't help; a fan would have been appreciated! Friendly staff.
