Great room, great stay. Check in was as easy as it could be, parking directly behind building. House itself is stunningly remodeled and the room was on par with a high end boutique hotel. Very happy.

Very quaint and old style inn. Furnishings fit the 1853 perfectly… Walking distance to downtown was a beautiful 5 minute stroll..contact free check in was a breeze. Common room area was tastefully done and our room was clean and adequately equipped.awesome place- will definitely return!

The driveway has a deep pothole. The pothole was so deep that the front of the car dropped onto the driveway and damaged the front of our car. I was not happy about this. We arrived at night and could not see the pothole. After that, I had to drive off the road to avoid the pothole. There is no staff at the house. We stayed at the hotel for a wedding. On our way to the wedding, as we were attempting to leave the house, the handle of the front door came out. We were stuck in the house and there was nobody to talk to. I am not that handy but eventually I was able to get the handle reattached to the door so that we could get out of the house. But we were stuck for a while. With all this said, the room was OK. The sheets were very nice and the pillows were nice. The mattress was extremely soft. It felt like foam. Also, the faucet in the shower was completely loose. You could literally pull the faucet away from the wall. You can hear constant traffic on the road outside.

The Inn is so quaint and instructions to enter building and room are clear. The room was spotless with a refrig and microwave available. My contact person was very helpful as I needed her help on rebooking and she contacted me immediately. Highly recommended.

Had a fabulous stay. The room was clean, and had all the things you might need in a hotel room. The owner was fast with replies and very helpful. It was very close to the town centre with its own private carpark. Would 100% recommend!

Great place to stay. Quaint house and room. The room was small but was arranged in a way that provided both sleep and work space. In room retro fridge and microwave. Great shared parlor! The also quaint downtown area is just a short walk away.

Entire room was exceptionally clean, floors were so nice to walk on. Shower was nice and hot, and everything worked perfectly. Very cozy and quiet aside from light traffic outside. Check in/out was seamless and convenient. 10/10 would stay here again!

Charming, clean, safe, nice amenities. I’d stay here again. Only minor critique would be that my room was next to the entrance porch and even though there was a window shade, light from the entryway still seeped in around the edges. If you need total darkness to sleep, maybe bring eye shades.

Everything about this place was adorable. The only drawback was how loud it was. The walls were very thin so you could hear every time one of the other guests used the water/walked around/rolled their suitcase/etc... Lovely historic property, the owners were gracious and kind, the decor is tastefully done, overall a nice place.

It is a beautiful building and the room was very nice. However, the street noise was very significant with the windows open, but the AC unit was even louder with the windows closed. It would have been fine with something like central air or, even better, mini splits. We got very little sleep with constant excessive noise. Very nice place but unfortunate conditions.

We have a very sweet room that suits us fine. Is strange that we have not seen another person at this property since we have been here. No check in to speak of. Our friend is also staying here, and his room is essentially like a closet… so small. Close to town though, so very convenient

The location was good for a family event in Walpole, NH. There was difficulty is getting into the room since the code was in correct. the problem was resolved with 15 minutes and the code was reset. We waited in the downstairs Living Room which was confortable. The room was cozy and clean.

I liked the privacy of being able to quietly check in and I loved the retro/antique decor of the Sage Room. I was very comfortable and it was very convenient to downtown Keene. The place was amazingly kept. Plush towels. Modern retro bathroom. Very tastefully, thoughtfully planned out.

The Burrell House was a hidden gem. Easy walk to downtown. Met our needs for graduation weekend. Quiet, spacious room with basic amenities (we very much appreciated the water provided as part of amenities) Shower was amazing, water was hot and plenty of water pressure. Towels were exquisitely FLUFFY!

Great location about .4 miles from city center. Guest House was a nice blend of antique and modern. WiFi supported work, conferences, and streaming.

Beautiful and charming, this was a perfect stay. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The house is right in downtown allowing for an easy walk to local spots. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

This is a lovely old home divided into guest rooms. It is really convenient to downtown and the area was quiet. Everything in the room functions well - Keurig coffee, microwave, fridge, great shower, A/C, good bed. Yet I was expecting more charm and warmth from an old inn. Parlor was unused and not very welcoming. Would have been nice to see fresh flowers, maybe coffee and tea maker in parlor with some cookies, a few throw rugs in rooms. I didn't find a comfy and well-lit space in room or parlor to do some work or sit and read.

Room was very clean. Pillows were terrible; 1 was too thin, the other too thick. TV remote didn't have working batteries and the owner, due to circumstances, couldn't come to replace them. The half and half provided for the coffee was bad.

Great place to stay. Clean, quiet and well furnished rooms

We stayed at the Burrell House for one night before heading to Northlands Music Festival, and somehow this place managed to make a 12-hour stay feel like a luxury retreat. The check-in process was so smooth it was almost suspicious. A few hours before arrival, we received all the information we needed, and from that point on, everything just... worked. No confusion, no stress, no frantic parking-lot Googling. The house itself is gorgeous and full of charm, character, and the kind of historic New England vibes that make you briefly consider abandoning modern life and becoming a poet. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet enough that we actually got a great night's sleep before a weekend of loud music and questionable festival decisions. Every corner of the house seemed to be saying, "Relax, you've made excellent choices." We honestly spent most of our stay wishing we had booked more than one night. The Burrell House ended up being the unexpected headliner of the pre-festival experience. The location was amazing for being able to walk into downtown where all the bars/restaurants/stores are. If you're looking for a place in Keene that's charming, comfortable, easy, and somehow makes you feel more sophisticated than you actually are, book it. We'd absolutely stay again, preferably for longer than the lifespan of a mayfly.

I was thrilled with the location. Very short walk into town, and had plenty of parking. Checking in was a breeze by just using codes to the doors. My first impression walking into the building was that it smelled VERY clean. My room was spotless, bright and charming. I stayed in Room #8, and it was the perfect size for a single or a couple. The ONLY thing I wish it had was a blow dryer, but that is a VERY minor mark. 5 stars all around, and will stay here again!
