Farndale Den

Perfect location to walk into the city centre. Warm and welcoming property very stylish.

We stayed here, family of four, for a long weekend. The location, on a quiet residential street, is fantastic and only a 15/20 minute walk into York along the river. The house is fairly well equipped and just a few additions would elevate it further. Lots to do in and around York and easy to get around walking or by public transport so the car wasn't used at all. Would definitely stay again.

This house is next to river, very quiet at all times while we were there. Very clean, could do with a lamp in living room as I'm not keen watching tv with ceiling light on, but this is a minor thing. Would definitely stay again.

Everything from the original booking process to check-out - and a very comfortable stay in between - was first class. All made very easy and at a very competitive price. Cosy, stylish and comfortable accommodation and properly equipped. We very much enjoyed the location and the walks into the city centre via the river path. Being dog-friendly was a big bonus too as it enabled us to bring our little Miniature Schnauzer with us. Even the weather did not dampen our spirits. Comfortable house. Well sited for a walk along the river. 15 mins walk to city centre. No parking permit provided although there were always a few spaces on the street.
