Wunderbare Hütte am Meer. Sehr gemütlich mit 3 Betten, Sofa, Sessel, Grill, Outdoor Stühlen und Terrasse. Kleine gut ausgestatte Küche mit allen nötigen Geräten. Sehr steile Anfahrt und keine Einkaufsmöglichkeiten im Dorf. Leider hatten wir schlechten Internet Empfang und konnten die Bratpfannen nicht nutzen. Das Bad ist leider bisschen eng und es fehlen jegliche Halterungen für Badetücher und Klopapier. Der Preis ist bisschen hoch aber die exklusive Lage rechtfertigt dies. Die Kommunikation mit An Island Apart per Email war bisschen mühsam. Unbedingt die Katzen lieb haben.

Da wir die Ruhe mögen, war diese Außergewöhnliche Unterkunft genau das richtige für uns.

We were looking for a remote location in a beautiful area. This Villa was exactly what we wanted. The drive in and out is demanding, so we planned our day accordingly and only left the Villa once per day

We initially really liked this holiday house, especially because of its beautiful location right by the sea. Unfortunately, our experience quickly turned negative. As soon as it rained, water started leaking heavily from three different spots in the ceiling – within one night, we filled 2–3 glasses just from the dripping water. There was also a strong musty, moldy smell throughout the house. The bathroom was much smaller than expected and not shown in any photos, which felt misleading. The biggest issue, however, was the location and access. The road to the house is extremely steep and dangerous. Due to bad weather, a storm caused a landslide, and we were effectively trapped, unable to leave. We had to coordinate with the fire brigade and civil protection services to get out safely. Given the safety concerns, we tried to arrange alternative accommodation, but the hosts showed no understanding or support. There was no compensation offered – neither a replacement stay nor even a partial refund, despite the serious issues. Overall, very disappointing and stressful experience.

If you like to stay far away from the crowd, book this beautiful house. The only noise you hear are the waves of the ocean. Beautiful spot. Nice house with all you need. Well equiped kitchen. Nice living room and terrace. Small and simple bathroom.
