We had the best time at the RCR Waikiki Beach. The hotel is in a great location with so many things (beach, restaurants, shopping) walkable from the hotel. The staff (everyone!) could not be any kinder. My only complaint is the cost to park at the hotel. We rented a car for the week so had to park it there and $62/day is quite costly. But the valet attendants were so friendly and accommodating. We are already planning our next visit!

The Ritz Carlton does it again! This is a wonderful hotel with many amenities. We enjoyed a lovely ocean view! The suite was large and plentiful for my husband, my 9yo and I to spread out. We also enjoyed their saltwater pool that had a little slide for the kiddo to enjoy. Service was impeccable as always.

Staff was great, excellent service and comfortable very clean rooms w/ amazing views!! We rented the cabanas at the pool twice and it was really nice. Will definitely come back again and this is our new Oahu, Waikiki hotel.

Ritz is an exceptional hotel but that is expected of course. Everyone there goes out of their way to make your stay the best possible. *The suite was very comfortable. * Pools were nice however the pool choice of food was very poor. * If you are with kids, you can't use the Jacuzzi. * Restaurants do not have too many choices at least in my opinion. * There is a lack of music in this hotel compared to others that we stayed at in Honolulu. Therefore the entertainment is very poor. For example, live music by the pool at the OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort was unbeatable as well as the suite lounge with free breakfast, drinks and dinner snacks. You would think that paying over $1000 per day would get you something exceptional but in my opinion it did not. Sure, the service is unbeatable however to enjoy a vacation takes more then service. Pool is on the 6th floor so it has a view but that also comes with a lot of wind which makes it cold. This is NOT on the beach so you have to walk a few blocks, therefore they should make it up in a different way which they did not. Anyway, Nice hotel, great service but will not stay there again.

The staff at this property is wonderful - friendly, welcoming, helpful. Couldn't be better. The adult pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. Overall, this is a very nice hotel.

The large pool and hot tubs were closed due to construction which only allowed for one pool to be used. This would sometimes cause for a wait or a less than ideal spot. The servers and staff were all amazing throughout our entire stay. We were on our honeymoon and were placed on a lower level near the pool construction so that could have been a little better due to the reason for our visit. The housekeepers would add little love themed items in our room and we were gifted a bottle of champagne during our first night which was very lovely!

I have mixed feelings about staying here. It was pricey so I expected nothing but the best. Staff & customer service were top notch. Rooms were nicely sized. Washer/dryer in the room were excellent. No useless resort fee here which is nice. That said there were several things I wasn't happy with. The unit's maintenance is not up to standard. Chips in the cabinets, sinks that don't drain and visible mold under the stopper. While minor, this is a high-end hotel and I expected better condition. Housekeeping was hit and miss, one day they didn't even clean the sinks. Several days they didn't top up supplies (soap, water, laundry detergent). The kid's pool was so unbelievably cold. My kids had blue lips after spending 20 minutes in the pool. I could hardly get in it at all. We had to switch rooms twice, once due to them giving split single beds which were not comfy, the pillows were lumpy in this unit as well. The second room smelled like smoke. In fairness the staff comped breakfast for us which was well appreciated. Lastly, the bed slept SO hot. My wife and I would wake up drenched in sweat even with the cold air on set to high. The bed coverings do not promote any cooling. I have never woken up sweaty from sleeping anywhere before and my wife and I were drenched from the beds retaining heat. Overall, I have mixed feelings about whether it was worth the money to stay here.

Wonderful property. It is above standard on most levels. The service at the front desk and in the restaurant can be improved. The 24 hours swimming pool and fitness center is a definite plus. The room features a versatile and convenient kitchenette equipped with a range top, combo oven and refrigerator and washer and dryer. The view from the balcony is decent but since the property isn’t located on the beach you can see the street and buildings before you see the beach. Overall it was a decent experience but I will go for a resort with beach it’s own beach next time.

Staff were wonderful - they were best part. The hotel itself is not Ritz standard. Definitely needs an update. Carpets in room were dirty and overall the hotel looked very worn and tired. I expected more having stayed at other Ritz

Despite paying over $3000 /night for a 3 bedroom suite, we had to go downstairs daily to refill our water bottle for drinking water. I had to ask for soap, clean towels, and supplies refills daily. Washer and Dryer in room did not work.

The property is great. The location could be better, but it’s fine. The rooms are well equipped and good size for a family of four. You can walk to restaurants, shopping centers and the beach. I definitely recommend this place.
The property is great. The location could be better, but it’s fine. The rooms are well equipped and good size for a family of four. You can walk to restaurants, shopping centers and the beach. I definitely recommend this place.

Not a one bedroom suite. Just a see through no lock sliding open panel glass sliders. No lock on bathroom/shower door or bathroom/toilet door. Clear see through glass wall between bathroom and room with one flimsy vertical blind outside the bathroom. Dirty beaten up. Service terrible. Location terrible. Unsafe.

I have mixed feelings about staying here. It was pricey so I expected nothing but the best. Staff & customer service were top notch. Rooms were nicely sized. Washer/dryer in the room were excellent. No useless resort fee here which is nice. That said there were several things I wasn't happy with. The unit's maintenance is not up to standard. Chips in the cabinets, sinks that don't drain and visible mold under the stopper. While minor, this is a high-end hotel and I expected better condition. Housekeeping was hit and miss, one day they didn't even clean the sinks. Several days they didn't top up supplies (soap, water, laundry detergent). The kid's pool was so unbelievably cold. My kids had blue lips after spending 20 minutes in the pool. I could hardly get in it at all. We had to switch rooms twice, once due to them giving split single beds which were not comfy, the pillows were lumpy in this unit as well. The second room smelled like smoke. In fairness the staff comped breakfast for us which was well appreciated. Lastly, the bed slept SO hot. My wife and I would wake up drenched in sweat even with the cold air on set to high. The bed coverings do not promote any cooling. I have never woken up sweaty from sleeping anywhere before and my wife and I were drenched from the beds retaining heat. Wonderful property. It is above standard on most levels. The service at the front desk and in the restaurant can be improved. The 24 hours swimming pool and fitness center is a definite plus. The room features a versatile and convenient kitchenette equipped with a range top, combo oven and refrigerator and washer and dryer. The view from the balcony is decent but since the property isn’t located on the beach you can see the street and buildings before you see the beach. Overall it was a decent experience but I will go for a resort with beach it’s own beach next time.

Everything was perfect except the bed was so soft and we were 10 inch down in the middle of the bed. We couldn’t sleep well all 4 nights but we couldn’t ask to change the mattress.!! The staff are so friendly and professional and the hotel room was crystal clear. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the cleanliness.

Just Wow!!! Staff was amazing and concierge was helpful throughout our 7 day stay. The beds were comfortable and the ocean view was amazing. Plenty of restaurants and food trucks within a few blocks of the hotel. The restaurants on property are overpriced and valet parking @$55/Day was our only complaint. 10/10 for us!

Positives: Amazing welcome from team by valet as you enter throughout trip and check in was good, with an apology for ignoring emails prior to arriving. Negatives: Emailed 3 times before arriving if special occasion & each time advised it was for my 50th & son's first time back to the Island. NOT once was it acknowledged throughout our stay, whereas at the Trump, they arranged a meal & left honolulu cookies in our room. Why bother asking 3 times, if you make no effort to do anything for guests travelling over 8k miles to stay? The quality and cleanliness of the room.. tired, dated, worn out furniture, peeling wallpaper and dirty rugs, glass and bathroom, as per images. The deafening sound of the bars and traffic 26 floors up.. wow, unbelievable for being so high. On check out, Noah never even bothered to ask about how our stay was, so I had to tell him. Visually, I could tell zero craps were given or bothered. Even said he was posting a gift card for a free 3 night stay. Never to date received that, or confirmation of it happening. Of course that makes sense as an offer. Travelling 46 hours & 3 flights to take benefit of 3 nights makes total financial sense! There is nothing 'ritzy' about this accommodation. Overpriced & poor quality. Go stay somewhere else, as this is not luxury by any stretch.

This place is really nice. The staff are very accommodating, friendly but maintain professionalism in their dealing with the customers. Big shoutout to Christina in the front desk by making our stay there really memorable! Ann in the front desk was really nice as well. I’ll definitely come back and also recommend this hotel to friends and family. We missed the free ice creams but enjoyed the free chocolates they leave in the room everyday. 😀

Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful expectations were beyond met. We came here for an anniversary celebration and were surprised with a free bottle of champagne and a beautiful card then the next day flowers and swan decorated the bed! Just amazing! The spa, the front desk and everyone that worked at the pool are just wonderful. Would not hesitate to recommend the ritz to anyone coming to Hawaii and we will stay again.

This is the sixth or seventh one week stay over the last three years. Great suite of rooms. Terrific service. The beds are perfect. Not too firm not too soft. We love the location as it’s close to everything in Waikiki but one block off the Main Street. We will always stay here.

The hotel , customer service was top notch. However, the downside is that the property is not located on the beach and you have to walk to the beach 10-20 minutes depends what beach you choose since there are a lot of them and they all open to public.

We had the best time at the RCR Waikiki Beach. The hotel is in a great location with so many things (beach, restaurants, shopping) walkable from the hotel. The staff (everyone!) could not be any kinder. My only complaint is the cost to park at the hotel. We rented a car for the week so had to park it there and $62/day is quite costly. But the valet attendants were so friendly and accommodating. We are already planning our next visit!

The hotel is beautiful. Close to shops and a small walk to the beach. It’s definitely a weird location considering it’s status. The pools are great and you can see the beach in the distance. The pools do hang over to see a bunch of roofs. If you don’t want to pay the hotel food prices there are food spots everywhere. Overall a really great hotel.

Ritz is an exceptional hotel but that is expected of course. Everyone there goes out of their way to make your stay the best possible. *The suite was very comfortable. * Pools were nice however the pool choice of food was very poor. * If you are with kids, you can't use the Jacuzzi. * Restaurants do not have too many choices at least in my opinion. * There is a lack of music in this hotel compared to others that we stayed at in Honolulu. Therefore the entertainment is very poor. For example, live music by the pool at the OUTRIGGER Reef Waikiki Beach Resort was unbeatable as well as the suite lounge with free breakfast, drinks and dinner snacks. You would think that paying over $1000 per day would get you something exceptional but in my opinion it did not. Sure, the service is unbeatable however to enjoy a vacation takes more then service. Pool is on the 6th floor so it has a view but that also comes with a lot of wind which makes it cold. This is NOT on the beach so you have to walk a few blocks, therefore they should make it up in a different way which they did not. Anyway, Nice hotel, great service but will not stay there again.

My wife and I spent our babymoon here and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. First, they left us a very nice note in our room, along with two recyclable water bottles, tote bag, and macaroons. Next, the view from the room was awesome! So nice to see both the park and the ocean. The bed was also very cozy and I loved the bathroom layout with a tub that could still see out the patio windows towards the ocean. Every single staff member was incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly the whole time. La Vie is also a great restaurant by the pool and we loved that they had a live piano player every night. The location of the hotel is perfect too because, although you're not "beach front," it's way easier to walk to the beach while not being trapped by all the dense foot traffic if you rented a car like us and wanted to pop out quickly around the island. Lastly, it was nice to have a washer/drier and kitchenette because it just made the room feel so much more useful and spacious at the same time. Overall, you cant beat the location, the rooms, the quality of the service. Just a perfect stay all around.

The room was nice and the location was good. We even got an upgrade, which we appreciated. However, kids' amenity was lacking; our 3-year-old daughter was excited for a plushie that we saw on youtube before researching the hotel, but it was not offered to us. Staff overall were very friendly, but the hostess at breakfast seemed overwhelmed as she told us we should have made a booking for breakfast even though there were so many tables open. I have never been to a hotel that asked guests to pre-book seating for breakfast... Also, the breakfast credit was confusing too. The receptionist told us we had $50 per person, then told us we had 75 in total, but the team doesn't tell you that there was a 20% auto gratuity. Oh, and unlike brands like Four Seasons, kids' meals are chargeable too. So overall, the hotel is good, but for the cost, it doesn't deliver the value.

The hotel is beautiful. Close to shops and a small walk to the beach. It’s definitely a weird location considering it’s status. The pools are great and you can see the beach in the distance. The pools do hang over to see a bunch of roofs. If you don’t want to pay the hotel food prices there are food spots everywhere. Overall a really great hotel.

The staff is absolutely amazing! They are kind, courteous, and extremely helpful! David in valet amd Jayson in maintenence engineering were 2 that really went above and beyond. Jamie at the spa, was wonderful, if you plan on a massage; ask for her! Housekeeping was great, also! The proximity of shopping and dining are really good. The negatives were 2 things (for the price point), the hot tubs were down for 4 days and it was impossible to get reservations for dinner at LaVie and Sushi Sho. SS was booked until April 😳 The front desk stated they are 3rd party so the Ritz doesn't control them, which is unfortunate. One of the reasons we chose this hotel was restaurants onsite. They should require them to hold a certain amount of tables for guest or at the least inform guest when booking. We booked almoat a year in advance and could have booked then! All in all it was a good place.

Residences/hotel/staff were all excellent. Only one item needing improvement was the Italian restaurant. Pasta that I ordered was bland and tasteless. Otherwise I would give the Ritz Residences a '10'!

Myself and fiance went to Hawaii to celebrate her birthday wewere very disappointed based on our experience at the this hotel. It was not clean from the moment we walked in I noticed the room had a very stale smell to it. There were areas of the room that were dusty and appeared as if the room had not been used in a long time. We came back from dinner and as I got into the shower I noticed there was hair in the shower from the previous guests. Then as we pulled the covers back to get into bed I noticed two small stains and then as I pulled it all the way back I saw a big red stain. I called housekeeping and they came and changed the sheets. The next day we noticed a red stain on the headboard it appeared to be old blood. We had greater expectations for the Ritz Carlton not only because of the name but the big price tag that came with it. Management did nothing we definitely won’t be back.
