Luciana, at reception, was particularly helpful in arranging taxi tours, recommending restaurants, gelato, bakeries. She has great suggestions, particularly for places to eat. The breakfast buffet was excellent with coffee, teas, juices, pastries, cereals, breads, cheeses, meats, eggs, fruits. The hotel has a pool and gym, the gym opens in the afternoon but morning exercisers can get access to the gym in the hotel next door. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. There is no air-conditioning so to cool the room, one needed to close the curtains and open the window (we were there in summer). The only complaint is the street noise (loud motorcycles going up and down the adjacent street in the wee hours of the morning).

Todo increíble, camas muy cómodas! El desayuno se torna aburrido después de varios días, pero tiene lo básico. El spa muy bueno. Lo único es que decía que la habitación tenía aire acondicionado y no tiene, por el clima del lugar hay días que no lo amerita pero sería bueno aclararlo, únicamente tiene calefacción.

The location can’t be any better! Walking distance to absolutely everything. Only lows i could say are: the hallways as well as the rooms can become extremely hot. And only solution is to open the windows. Can’t imagine what it gets like during summer time. The second one is the lack of proper elevators. Only one was in use and it was quite outdated, taking as much as 7-10 mins to go up or down the higher floors during high transit hours, like check out.

Great location and the spa was amazing. Best message I've had in years.

The property for Ushuaia - right on the main street across from the Beagle Channel, with easy access to anywhere you want to go in the city and beyond. Expedia Gold members get $28 off at the spa, which is the exact price of a one hour full body deep tissue massage - the deal of the century in my opinion. Not to be missed.

The Albatross was a comfortable stay before our Antarctica trip. I removed one star because the elevator by the lobby was out of order so we had to carry our bags down the stairs when we left, but everything else was good.

Estuvimos durante 4 noches y fue maravilloso el servicio, en recepción todo más que excelente, el lobby muy lindo, igual que el spa y gym. El desayuno es muy completo y con muy buen sabor. Peeeeero, la limpieza que hacen a la habitación es muy mala, dejaban sucio y como que era de hacer la cama y medio limpiar, la basura que había no se la llevaban, tuve que salir a tirarla

The hotel is centrally located and convenient to everything including the boats heading to the Antarctica. Would recommend for convenience.

The hotel advertises that it has air conditioner, but it did not have one operating. The room was a sauna. We opened the window everyday but there was a lot of street noise and our room had a view of trucks, construction and garbage. It is also categorized as a four star hotel, but I felt like I was in a two star hotel at best. There’s no tissue papers, no garbage can in the room and they had the cheapest and thinnest toilet paper I’ve ever seen. The body washer dispenser wasn’t working. The towels were old and in horrible condition. The bed was very uncomfortable and combined with the heat it was difficult to get a good night!s sleep. Really the only positive about this hotel is its convenient location.

For the price, this is an old and not well maintained hotel. The room was old, dirty, with a tiny bathroom, even with a high priced room. Staff are nice and doing the best they can with what they have. It seems that management does not care.

Staff wasn’t very friendly but I got what I needed. A bit noisy at night but nothing earplugs can’t handle. Shower head was broken but the room was nice and big.

Great in most ways but the room was uncomfortably overheated and I didn't see any facility to control the temperature. The room overlooked a busy and excessively noisy road throughout the late evening and early morning. The only option was to close the window and use earplugs. The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel falicilies were good. I enjoyed my stay

The Albatros was a wonderful hotel. It was a very short walk from the port where we disembarked our cruise ship. The rooms were spacious, clean and great quality beds. The location was perfect for walking the town, shopping, dining and seeing to memorials and museums. The breakfast options are light, high on the carbs, no vegetables, minimal fruit, but everything was delicious. The street noise can be heard in the rooms but a good pair of earplugs and I slept through the night. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Ushuaia.

The rooms are not air conditioned. It ended being too hot and had to keep the window open which ended up being noisy and difficult to sleep…

Hotel, muy céntrico en pleno centro y con todo lo importante cerca a pie, es el hotel más ubicado de todo Ushuaia, desayuno regular habitación, muy amplia, pero baño muy pequeño.

Good and well maintained hotel, but be aware that they do not have a working table and chair in the room. Makes it very difficult to to get any office work done. They did provide a small table and chair on request, but it was very difficult for me to work.

Proximity to the port was good. Rooms were hot. Quite noisy if windows are open.

I was in a room over the trash yard with a paper thin connecting door to another room. It was bare bones , loud and when I checked out all they cared about was if I took anything from the minibar, which I didn't, and also had no pricing or instructions about if it costs or the water was free, there were no water glasses...

The room have no circulation. Only way to get fresh air is to open the window and the. You have all the noise including motorcycle racing conning in. Could not sleep at all. Either provide fans or do something about the noise.

Convenient. Close to everything. Walking around Usuhuaia, my husband fell outside hitting his head and bloodied his face. Upon our return, The front desk was excellent in providing first aid products and referred the hospital. Their help was outstanding. A comfortable place to stay before the cruise.

Everything went smoothly & Lusianna from front desk in particular was so accommodating & friendly.. I was granted late check out and I’m truly thankful for that…

The best of all was Louisiana; the front desk officer who was so accommodated & friendly.. I also appreciated getting the late checkout…

Recepção muito demorada Chegamos no hotel 15:00 E só arrumaram o quarto as 18:00,no segundo dia não arrumaram o quarto e no terceiro dia só depois de pedir para arrumar 3x arrumaram as 16:00

Very pleasant hotel with excellent service. I would have had dinner there had they opened before 8 PM.

The hotel is well located but, the neighborhood had motorcycles with no muffler running at 2-5am through the area. Who knows if this is a one off but, it was obnoxiously loud. The rooms also do not have individual thermostats. You can turn the radiator off. I'm sure this is "cozy" in some times of the year but, with outdoor temperatures of 10 degrees C its excessive to set the room temperature at 26-27 C with no way to bring it down. Welcome to your personal sauna. The staff was simply not up to the task of a 4 star hotel - a martini on the bar menu but, no clue how to make one. An ask for a one hour later checkout led to a debate about 4 & 8 hour late check outs - off topic - and to no effect - housekeeping banging on my door 10 minutes before "normal checkout" as if its the only room they could work on. Then calls from the front desk while I was in the shower to again harass about the absurd 10am check out. No recollection that the objective was to give me an hour or two not to rush out in the AM to sit in the lobby. However, just a busy signal when trying to call the front desk back. I pulled the manager aside and informed him of this tragic execution by his staff. To his credit, he comp'd food and beverage. This hotel should be perfection from its facility and location to the cruise port but, it is simply not up to the job. Incorrect information on getting from hotel to ship at the dock was the capper. Told a taxi would get me to my ship, totally false.

Great location, staff was ok, but I’d like to mention Jorge front desk and Agustina masseus. I appreciate that they kept our luggage while waiting for our late flight.

The hotel is centrally located and the perfect place to stay before a cruise. The restaurant is also terrific. The breakfast could be a bit better. The room was great. The service amazing. I had a great massage in the spa. I really enjoyed my stay.

Very convenient location, friendly staff and overall very comfortable. The only note is about the breakfast, after a couple of days you get a bit tired of it, too many carbs, it would be nice to have more protein options.

Very well located in the city center, with easy access to port, restaurants and tours. Usually short of staff in the coffee shop, causing delays.

Accomodation was fine. Don’t bother to pay for breakfast or eat in the restaurant. Very bland food that didn’t meet expectations/cost. Location is central and an easy walk to all restaurants and port.

This property was close to the cruise port and we were able to we were within walking distance of our ship. But also within walking distance of good restaurants the day before. The Albatross served an excellent breakfast the morning of our departure and the staff could not have been more helpful.

I loved the location of this property its walkable to the sea port where you can book excursions and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants. The only thing was mid is their breakfast. A lot of sweets and NO fruits.
