Parking was difficult, if you did not use the valet option at $45 per day. The location was convenient with easy access to river street attractions.

Beware that parking is Valet only and it cost $39 for them to park my car 20ft away from where I left it and I was told three times that the valet drivers work for tips only, also the management recently remove a guest ability to use the HDMI input on the tv in the room and people who travel allot use that for a firestick or other device, otherwise its a great hotel in a great location.

The Cotton Sail is in a great location, if you stay, try the River House restaurant downstairs! The staff was friendly, the rooms clean, and the location was terrific! Parking will cost $45/night in valet so plan on the extra cost, but the convenience made it worth it. This is a short 25 minute drive to Tybee Island, and an easy 5 minute walk to the market place. I would definitely recommend a stay!

Perfect location close to City Market & the Riverfront. Rooms were spacious & very clean. There is a sports bar & a small eatery on the rooftop. Both overlook the river. We had drinks & appetizers at The Nest on the rooftop. Breakfast too. Food & drinks were very good & reasonably priced.

Location is excellent, Employees very friendly, bed comfy and view fantastic. The room had a balcony but really, really small and only room for 2 people to stand on it and it is also scary as it seems like it would be unstable so not worth the extra money to book this. Gym is really small, only 3 machines and a yoga ball, no weights. Rooftop bar/restaurant is very cute and excellent view.

We enjoyed watching cargo ships from the balcony. Top Deck bar was a great place to view the river and enjoy drinks.

$45 per night valet

Perfectly situated hotel, with friendly and responsive staff. We had an issue with one of the beds, but it was corrected right away. Valet parking was more expensive than advertised on Hotels.com. Rooftop bars have an amazing view.

The property and room was nice. The location was very convenient and the rooftop restaurant and bar had great options with a scenic view. The only cons was the $45 per day valet parking, and the floor we were on was noisy at times. Overrall it was a nice stay and I would stay here again the next time I visit Savannah.

The best option for parking is the public parking garage across the street versus $45 a day for valet. This property does not have a swimming pool.

The property was great, except for the roach that fell out of my wife's bathrobe when she went to put it on.

The staff was excellent but the room was a different story. The room had that “Old” world smell we could deal with that but the wood floor had a “sticky” substance like maple syrup. For the price we paid, you would expect more.

Bed bugs …. That is all - still have marks all over from a week ago

Awesome place. Our view from the balcony was wonderful. From the valets, to the desk staff, to the cleaning staff everyone was very friendly and went out of their way to accommodate us. My only negative was the floor in our room was sticky, it seemed to need a thorough cleaning.

Wonderful front desk and lovely valet. Condition of room was horrible. Paint spatters on furniture and fixtures. Floor dirty. Dirty linens stained duvet and bathroom condition was very dirty. Super expensive and not worth the money. Reserved a river view and not honored. Horrible stay. Hard to believe a Hilton Tpaestry.

Housekeeping was so poor. Rooms were dirty, there was no service and when the housekeeper came in, all they did was empty trash and left their own hair in the bathroom. Didn’t refill coffee offerings, etc. beautiful hotel and comfortable beds. Housekeeping is ruining it for them.

The floor in the room was not clean. The shower was not squeaky clean. The blow dryer was filthy with scum and build up. There was not even a soap dish in the bathroom. One night, there was a cockroach in the bathroom. The towels were thin and rough. For a boutique hotel, we felt it was not a good value for the price.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was good, but our room smelled terribly like mold and the floors were covered in dirt and debris. I had a hard time sleeping in the comfortable bed due to the very strong mold smell. I ended up with a headache and stuffy nose from it. The floors in our room were so dirty, we had to wear shoes or slippers the whole stay. Piles of dirt around furniture and in corners and a full covering of dirt, glitter, and other stuff clearly visible on the uncleaned/mopped floors. I paid extra for a river view king room and our view was of trees out of a very dirty window, not much of the river could be seen. The pictures will make you think you are getting a small balcony or a great river view, but that is not so in room 319 or I would imagine most of floor 3. The double tree was much nicer. Parking is also a nightmare on a weekend, so keep that in mind. Would not stay again.

I arrived to wait for a valet that was five feet from my car, watching me load up and carry all my things do nothing and when my hands were full, I had to put things down to hand them my key. Check in was great but the rooms are dumpy, and loud based on location. Oh and there is a profound lack of insulation so not only do you get street noise but noise from everything else. Skip it.

Within walking distance of everything. The riverview room is nice but not enough bathroom counter.

Room was well appointed. Hotel was clean, well located, offered plenty of dining options, and valet parking was easy. Our staff was very friendly, and helpful. Our room was on the 5th floor, located just below the rooftop bar…so a bit noisy until they closed. Not a big deal, but worth noting.

The staff and restaurants were excellent. The room was clean but smaller than excepted for how expensive it was. Also, tge "balcony " was more of a fire escape. Standing room only for barely 2 people. My only other issue is the rates online while there were about 80 dollars less a day.

Great location and clean overall. The even numbered rooms on the 3rd floor look into an alley, so the room is always dark.

It's a great location if you're wanting to walk around old town and get to the bars and restaurants. Convenient location. Floor had some sticky spots from the cleaning supplies on the hardwood and is really small. Balcony was nice for the observation but very small.

We had a great time and were thoroughly pleased with the Cotton Sail. Everything was just as we booked it. Concierge was very helpful, front desk took care of us and “Tru” the valet became a friend. Perfect location right between old and new river street. Had a room with a French balcony overlooking the river just like we wanted and we will definitely come back.

Loved the location, walking distance to everything. The view was great. I only wished the balcony was large enough to sit out on.

Only complaint is a lack of refrigerator in the room. With so much good food around not being able to keep leftovers was a bummer. But aside from that it was a wonderful experience and I'd highly recommend.

We always visit Savannah at least once a month and normally stay at Hilton properties because they always are nice, clean and customer service has always been good. We decided to try a different location and booked on Hotels only to find out Cotton Sail was also a Hilton property once I checked in. They were kind enough to add my Hilton Honors to my check in since I am a Diamond Member. That is where the good STOPS!!!! The rooms were extremely small, but nice. We laughed and made the best of it, and after my wife got a shower we realized AC was not cooling. I went downstairs to state it wasn't working and they offered to change our room. That was extremely sad being we had to unpack everything just to make space in our room, but we decided to go ahead and move rooms on the same floor. I asked for a key to the new room so we could just walk our stuff unpacked to the new room and the once nice and sweet lady that checked us in turned down right mean. Stated that was impossible to have keys to two rooms and that she would have to be there to watch us walk out of the room with all our packed luggage and move to the next room. I was dumbfounded by her change and the lack of customer service. Why would this be an issue!!! I told her if we had to pack all thing back in our luggage I was moving hotels completely. So within an hour we checked out and left. Hilton needs to address attitudes and customer service with this individual or remove the Hilton stamp on this property

We had a great trip in Savannah and staying at the Cotton Sail. Sandra at the front desk was top notch. Our room was a bit behind being ready, she updated us and went above and beyond after checked in; the next morning she text'd to see if we needed anything. The room was clean, well stocked. the pillows weren't the best but that's common in Hilton properties. And that is the only negative, the pillows. Nothing, but good things.... great location, grabbed a drink every evening upstairs, they were great as well!

The only thing I will say that I liked about the property was the location - it was a great spot, convenient to attractions, trolley, and restaurants. Other then that, it was a huge disappointment from the time we pulled up to the valet parking until the time we left. There are no bellman at this "supposed" luxury boutique hotel. So, here are 2 women in their 60\'s taking their own luggage out of the car, and dragging it to the room. The restaurant had no regular coffee on Monday, and also no bread except white bread. The room was acceptable, but that is all I can say about it for the price that we paid. It definitely could use some remodeling. We could not get the safe to work, called maintenance, they supposedly fixed it, but it still wouldn\'t work. Had to call them back again until they were finally able to get it to work for us. There are no refrigerators, even if you ask for one, and the floors definitely need to be refinished. At check out, I called down and asked if someone could help the two of us with our luggage, and was politely told No, we do not have bellman. I asked if perhaps one of the valets could assist us if possible. She said she would check and see, and if so send him to our room. He did come, kudos to him, and took our luggage down to the car for us. I am retired, and no longer have any Hilton status. I used to be minimum Gold when I worked, and was always treated with utmost respect and received wonderful service at Hilton. Not here.

Didn’t love having a room directly under the bar where a DJ loudly blasted music til 1 AM. Also when I asked a concierge about whether the local paper was available, she was rude in her response.

Staff was rather unengaged once you have your digital key. No assistance with luggage’s to the room. Not a Hilton welcome.

The room had food crumbs all over the floor even the mirror on the wall was disgustingly dirty. We would have overlooked this but what happened in the morning was inexcusable. You have to use the valet for parking. He brought the car around, forgot to give us the key to the car, then we went to drive away and couldn't figure what we were hitting. He had parked it we got in to drive away and hit something. Got out and he had left the pylon in front of our car and we had to move it. Who does that?

First off, Savannah is beautiful and a very walkable city. Second, the hotel was in a very hot spot. So ,the only, again, ONLY reason it did not get five stars from me is it was in the bar/party area. A little loud at times. However, for anyone reading this, note that the music or loud noise (cars, radios, etc). Stopped rather early (10pm or so?). The room was squeaky clean but for some bizarre reason, I like carpeting. But the wood floors were super clean Also, you have to valet there. But hey, it's a city and you are right on the Savannah river. Parking is beyond a premium there So, reading this anyone? Visit Savannah and if you are the type that enjoys a few drinks, some good food and merriment, then definitely stay at the Cottonsail.

We celebrated my son’s completion of college here! Perfect location! Easy access to all the shops and restaurants! We easily walked through the entire city!

No refrigerator (needed to cool insulin- had to use ice all day/nite), no microware, $45/day valet parking- no free parking, and no breakfast- at extra cost.

Small hotel, but standard Hilton property, albeit nice. The room was spacious, with wood floors, and the ceilings were high. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft. The bathroom was nice and the water pressure was good, but the shower head had a lot of mineral buildup. The only slight downside is: I wish the room had a mini-refrigerator and the hotel needs better coffee. The k-cups are some unknown brand and produces coffee flavored water at best.

The Cotton Sail Hotel is one of our favorite's, the staff is amazing! The beds are super comfortable! We love the rooftop bar! Food is always spectacular at The Nest! It is the perfect location right on the river! We will be back for sure!

I can't say enough about this property. We will NEVER stay anywhere else Savannah, and we have stayed at several luxury resorts. The front desk was top notch, the valet was excellent, the rooftop bars and restaurants were off the chains and the most comfortable beds and rooms are right here. We LOVED our stay!

Very nice hotel. Our only issue was with the restaurant on the 6th floor. It was sub-par to say the least and the decor was awful. Our room was just fine and the staff was friendly.
