Oaks Melbourne South Yarra Suites

The suite itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, and the location was convenient. However, there were several practical issues that affected our overall experience. Firstly, the car park was not located on-site. While the parking address was included in a separate email, this important detail was not clearly highlighted during booking. As a result, it was easy to overlook, and we only realised upon arrival that the parking was off-site. In addition, once parked, we were unable to drive in and out freely, which caused inconvenience. The hotel staff informed me that weekend parking would be $11 and advised me not to purchase the $30 parking voucher. However, this was not a flat rate but merely a discount. I was ultimately charged $36 by the car park, which was misleading and disappointing. Secondly, the washing machine was not functioning during our stay, which added further inconvenience. Clearer communication regarding parking arrangements and ensuring that all facilities are fully operational would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

Friendly staff, comfortable rooms with a view of the city. Close to South Yarra station. Coffee shop by reception. Laundry facilities.

Apartment was good

Rooms are functional and hotel conveniently close to train station and restaurants. The highlight however is the reception and caretaker staff… so friendly, professional and accommodating!

Reception was extremely helpful and friendly on arrival as was the person on my leaving the premises. Location was great
