An amazing location close to port in Split. Petra was lovely, she made time to meet us. Parking not easy but not a reflection in hotel

Not far from the water front. Dinning close by. The location was confusing to get to. Parking was relatively close although as with everything in Split limited and costs extra. Overall a decent find.

Well equipped room in a great location (close to everything but also peaceful) with some outdoor seating and communal coffee machines. Rooms were well thought out with beach towels provided, kettle and mini fridge.

The room was good, and it was clean, but not as pictured in the advertisement. The booking information also said that parking was available. However, the hotel did not initially respond to a confirmation message, and we had to call prior to arrival and we were then informed that parking is not associated with the room, but is public parking along a street or parking garage 5 minutes away. The reservation should not have implied that parking is available.

It’s very rare that I post a negative review but this place earned it. They say very clearly that they have on-site parking for 15 EUR/day. I sought out, and paid a large premium, for a place in Split with parking as parking is so limited. When we arrived we discovered that there is no parking at all. The host said onsite parking means street parking. I know Split well and getting street parking is about as likely as winning the lottery. The host said I “had the story wrong”…what does that even mean? They said in plain English that they have on-site parking to attract guests but the claim is not true. The closest parking is 500 m away and costs 48 EUR/day. Total bait and switch. It’s sort of an ok property but being mislead into thinking there was parking was very off putting.

Very basic amenities but fantastic location to Split. Useful as a base and if wanting to spend limited time in the room.

Location perfect just few hundred meters from the old town, the water front and the stairs to the hill with a great view. Small streets just by with cosy and healthy food and great coffee. Small but clean and with coffee available in the room. I met a host when I arrived who showed me the room but after this I did not meet anyone. No daily cleaning but that suits me fine. Nice room with rocky look, chair and table and nice shower. Nice surroundings with a small quite relaxing area.

Great location just a few minutes walk from everything, room was very clean and comfortable! The host Daniela was very helpful when it came to parking which is very competitive in the area, and had her friend reserve a spot for us! Can’t recommend enough, 10/10!

I will be completely honest and say that the photos definitely made the property seem nicer than it was, but it was still a nice enough apartment. The AC unit was a bit finicky and if you set the temperature higher than 21°C it blew out hot, moist air. The parking was also freakishly expensive at 48 euros for a day. The location wasn’t large, rolling luggage friendly but would be fine if you were traveling with a backpack. The shower was lovely though. We did have an issue with the lock on the door and ended up locked into the apartment. I reached out to the host letting her know the situation and asked if she could stop by in the morning to help (we were not planning on leaving that night). She was unable to come herself but sent an associate (Andrea) in the morning. Andrea was absolutely lovely and helped us get out! Turns out the lock just needed to be oiled:)

We chose the bottom floor and this was great, could eat our breakfast outside every morning. If we needed cleaning we just let them know and it was done. The location was perfect and close to the restaurants and 30minute walk to the beach.

Lovely little place in the heart of “where it’s at”! Clean and newly renovated. A perfect stay.

This property checked all the most important boxes I look for as a solo female traveler - it was safe, quiet (far away from the main promenade to not hear the noise, but close enough to easily walk), and clean. However, the other aspects of the property didn’t justify the cost and 4-star rating in my opinion. The room itself was very small - really just enough room for a twin bed and a small table. The bathroom didn’t have any shelving in the shower, so I had to place toiletries on the floor while showering. It also didn’t have space near the sink for toiletries, so I had to get creative. There was a slight sewage smell on and off in the bathroom. The most uncomfortable part for me was actually the bed situation. There was only a single pillow and no actual comforter. The only “blanket” on the bed was an oversized towel (terry cloth material), which wasn’t very warm. The curtains also weren’t adequate to block out the light, which is a bit of an issue in the summer when sunrise is so early and sunset so late. Another big factor when booking my room was the airport transport since I had an early flight out. The host did a good job coordinating that with the driver. Unfortunately, communication with the driver herself was a bit difficult and she ended up sending her husband to drive me which I wasn’t comfortable with for my own safety since I was originally expecting a woman. This was only communicated to me at pick up time and I opted not to take the ride.

We had a bit of difficulty with check-in and getting information, it would be helpful to receive a message with the basic details before arrival, as we ended up having to sort that out on the spot. Other than that, everything was perfect!

Very clean and centrally located apartment right near the centre of Split. Steps up to main building so you need to be able to negotiate these. Otherwise very nice. Self check in.

Tolle Unterkunft. Sehr gepflegtes und charmantes Zimmer. Habe mich direkt wohl gefühlt.

Perfect location in walking distance to everything you need to see in Split. I had a very warm welcome and the room was great. It had a really authentic feel to it.

If you can find this place, it’s great. Very charming building, rooms very comfortable and modern, strong AC. Location is great too. Only caveat is that it is extremely hard to find, even with WiFi. I wouldn’t book unless you will have both WiFi and phone service. No one attends the house. We wouldn’t have found it had two lovely neighbors not taken pity on us and called around to all the neighbors to figure out which house it was (no names on it) and then called the proprietor who told us nonchalantly the door was open, to just let ourselves in and grab the room keys. Never saw anyone who worked there or the owner. All that said the accommodations were very charming and our stay comfortable. Just hard to find.

The property and apartment itself was nice, but upon check in we realized that the keys were just being left in the door for guests to check in themselves. This however was not the issue, after landing in split at around midnight we got to our room only to find out someone had used our room instead of her own. The host did provide us with another room, but we had to carry our bags up many flights of stairs in order to even get there.

The accommodation was superb, great location, just a really short walk into the old town and literally a minute or two from the promenade. Despite the fact we arrived late morning we were able to check in straight away and the host, Daniela, arranged our collection from the airport, everything from the start of our stay to the end was perfect. Finally, once we had returned home my parents realised they had left their purse in their room, containing cash, cards and house keys. When I messaged Daniela to explain this, I really didn’t expect to see it again. But Daniela messaged to say it had been found and arranged for it to be sent back to us - it arrived back with all the contents there too. If you are planning to visit Split, I would definitely recommend you stay here!!

i arrived in the evening so it was already dark. i did have a hard time finding it but i think that was only because of the dark , once i found it i had no issues coming and going. i called also to speak with the owner when i couldn’t find it and she was super friendly and helpful. cute room. i would stay again and wish i had booked longer the first time :)

Very nice comfortable room in a central location. It was hard to find in a small alleyway at night.

We stayed for one night and were really pleased with the property and the location set back from main roads a short walk from a lovely square with bars and restaurants. The host was polite and helpful. A short walk to the main promenade and harbour.
