The hotel itself is located in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable. We visited the pool/hot tub once, and quickly left as it was dirty and the hot tub was not working (jets), so the water was just sort of sitting there with the dirt (leaves, bugs), but it was warm. The continental breakfast that was offered was underwhelming. We were the only ones in there and I think the only ones that visited. However, it was nice that something was provided. The booking process had its own set of issues, but they were resolved within a timely manner.

The suite was dated, but spacious and cozy. The continental breakfast was excellent. The heated pool was a little cold but the jacuzzi was wonderful. We will not hesitate to return.

The room was immaculate and the inn was positively charming! I loved the layout of the room; it was spacious and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace in our room each night and loved the heated pool and hot tub. The continental breakfast each morning was lovely and the dining room felt like Gramma’s house on a Sunday. The manager greeted us daily and made great referrals for the area. Truly a remarkable stay and I can’t wait to return!

The location is great, right on the main road into Napa. The room was quite big and provided everything we needed. However, it had a musty odor, perhaps changing out carpet would help. And our specific room had no privacy, we had to keep all the shades closed because all of our windows faced the parking lot. The breakfast is simple but adequate. Providing honey, for the yogurt and tea would’ve been great. Overall, good enough for one night. Maybe a different room on the property with more privacy and a fresh scent would make this more attractive for a longer stay.

The room was clean, until we found ants running around the bathroom. The bath towels were quite small and could have been softer. The bed was very worn out or simply a mattress with no support. The breakfast was a bit awkward with or plates or utensils to take back to the room.

Clean room and common areas (pool, outdoor spaces, walkways, etc.) and delightful staff! I booked sight unseen and could not have been more pleased. Wonderful location, delicious and satisfying Continental breakfast. The next time I get back to Napa Valley, I will definitely hope for a vacancy at Vineyard Country Inn.

The property is quiet and comfortable. Very close to town. It is close to the main road but you can't hear the traffic. Breakfast was lovely - many delicious items from The Model Bakery. The room could use a decor refresh and the bathroom a remodel. However, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, not to mention the price was right! We will be back to stay!

This is an excellent hotel situated in a vineyard setting, conveniently located just off the highway in St. Helena. The hotel itself offers rooms with fireplaces, most welcome during our chilly January wine country trip, and small fridges. While not a modern style, it is quiet, comfortable. Overall, a very pleasant place to stay. Highly recommended!

This property feels like staying at an old aunts house. It has an odd smell, the carpet is dated & the 2009 TV pretty much only plays commercials. For the high room price per night, I expected better. In addition the road noise is quite loud from 5am-8am and the breakfast was lacking in everything but hard boiled eggs.

Vineyard Country Inn is a beautiful and comfortable hotel. We stayed in a King w/ Vineyard-View room. It had a cozy sitting room with a fireplace and a beverage counter w/sink, a very clean, good-size full bathroom and another sink by the window off the bedroom. Everything was well planned and so convenient. From the patio, we admired the gorgeous view of vineyards and mountains. We enjoyed our stay very much. We’d like to come back again!

Lovely Inn that was very welcoming. Suites were large with separate living room area with wood burning fireplace.. nice to use on the couple of chilly nights. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay!

This was a really cute place; however our room was right along the road and the noise was bad all night. The room also needed some updating - the fan in the bathroom made a horrible noise the whole time it ran. The breakfast had no hot choices and the only protein option was a boiled egg - would have liked more options for this price.

The cleaning staff was excellent and provided excellent service every day of our stay. However, the staff at the front desk were not only not helpful, but denied several of our requests. 1. We asked to be moved to a room closer to the couple we came with and were denied. They told us all the rooms were booked; however, the parking lot was almost empty through our entire stay, we only saw 1 other couple in the dining room, and the rooms requested were dark and clearly NOT occupied for during our stay. 2. We requested 2 plates to take to our room and were denied. They told us they needed all their plates for the next day even after we told them we would return them later. 3. They didn't provide a toaster for breakfast but told us we could toast items by request. The first day, the accommodated us; however, the second day, they refused. The owner should replace their front desk help. They are rude and are not inclined to help their guests. They seemed much more interested in looking at their phones than helping us. We will not be staying at this property again and we will advise others not do stay either.

We arrived at 5 pm but there wasn’t anyone for check in the the front office, they left keys inside a letter with our names stuck to the window. I was a little worried at the time I got this but the next day the check out with the staff was great. Rooms were very nice but the carpet is a little old and the room felt stuffy, that is the only thing I would change. The beds and pillows were super comfortable.

This property is very conveniently located on Highway 128 just south of the main part of town but with very little road noise.The staff was very friendly and check in was quick and easy. Very nice rooms with some overlooking a vineyard and very clean with a large and comfortable bed. The only negative was a shortage of hot water in the evening. Lots of hot water in the morning however. We will stay again.

Lovely spot in St. Helena to stay while visiting the Napa Valley. The rooms are huge and the breakfast layout is generous (though there are few gluten-free options). Pretty gardens to walk through too. It’s not really walking distance to much of anything, but it makes up for that by being a short drive to a billion things to do, eat, and drink. Extremely comfy bed in our room (113). I would stay here again.

Great location, spacious rooms, nice view of the vineyard next door. The property is a little dated but it’s clean and adds to the charm. Price is also reasonable for the locale.

Excellent location. Love the fireplace in separate living room. Sinks in bathroom, minibar (with fringes), and in a separate nook in the bedroom. Lots of towels. Super convenient. Continental breakfast had great pastry and coffee. Also had water, juice, hard boiled eggs, cookie and yogurt/cereal. The dining area has nice quaint set up with view of a vineyard.

The hotel itself is located in a great location. The room was clean and comfortable. We visited the pool/hot tub once, and quickly left as it was dirty and the hot tub was not working (jets), so the water was just sort of sitting there with the dirt (leaves, bugs), but it was warm. The continental breakfast that was offered was underwhelming. We were the only ones in there and I think the only ones that visited. However, it was nice that something was provided. The booking process had its own set of issues, but they were resolved within a timely manner.

Clean room and common areas (pool, outdoor spaces, walkways, etc.) and delightful staff! I booked sight unseen and could not have been more pleased. Wonderful location, delicious and satisfying Continental breakfast. The next time I get back to Napa Valley, I will definitely hope for a vacancy at Vineyard Country Inn.

This was a really cute place; however our room was right along the road and the noise was bad all night. The room also needed some updating - the fan in the bathroom made a horrible noise the whole time it ran. The breakfast had no hot choices and the only protein option was a boiled egg - would have liked more options for this price.

The room was immaculate and the inn was positively charming! I loved the layout of the room; it was spacious and cozy. We enjoyed the fireplace in our room each night and loved the heated pool and hot tub. The continental breakfast each morning was lovely and the dining room felt like Gramma’s house on a Sunday. The manager greeted us daily and made great referrals for the area. Truly a remarkable stay and I can’t wait to return!

We love the Inn and for the most part, it was an amazing find and stay. We will stay again. The property, room and view were great. It’s convenient to anything you need and lots of wineries! The only negative is the thermostat doesn’t allow you to set it below 68 for the A/C. It was reading 68 but it felt warmer. There was nothing we could do and luckily the weather cooperated because we had to leave the back door to the patio open for a couple hours to cool it down. I’m a 56 year woman and have hot flashes, especially at night. It would have been nice to drop it down to 65 like I do at home. I didn’t sleep well a few nights because it was too warm and no fan. But again, the Inn was a great find and I look forward to staying there again. Just take a fan if you’re warm blooded.
