Parking area was great as it was covered! The staff were excellent. We would like to especially thank Jenny (at the front desk) for all her help and assistance! She gave excellent directions for dinner suggestions! Breakfast was excellent and the room was excellent and extremely clean! This was a wonderful place for a few nights to relax in the area! 👌😘

The hotel was nice, clean and the staff was great! The best amenity for us was the available garage for parking with a door leading directly in to the lobby. It was 70 degrees and sunny for the first two days of our visit, and that turned to 29 degrees with 3 inches of snow for the last two days of our visit. Interior parking was really appreciated!

Although it isn't a 5 star hotel, for a small town it gets a 5 star with full amenities, a nice breakfast, great staff, great value and an impressive exercise room for this hotel! We would definitely stay again!

The room was fine, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The hotel itself is not your typical Hampton. I should not have assumed that it would have the regular amenities, but was disappointed that there was no pool, hot tub, or business center. It seemed quite overpriced for what it offered.

We like Hampton but unfortunately this location was not up to the same quality. Staff was friendly, facility looked good inside and out. But, we found a bottle cap and piece of Kleenex on top of our fitted sheet…evident the sheets had not been changed. We reported it to the front desk and they had the sheets changed. Unfortunately, the new pillowcases included a soiled one with mascara or some other black marks in several areas. I’ll be writing a letter to corporate. Everything else was fine, but dirty linens was definitely a turnoff.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at the Hampton Inn in Lead SD. Front reception was welcoming when we checked in; our room was super clean; the rooms on our floor were quiet, as were the halls; the recently remodeled Hampton Inn was and clean from the gathering spaces to the kitchen breakfast area. Wi Fi was great; the large TV had good reception. We really liked the covered parking area with spaces that were wide, it was nice to have parking in that area. The 3 breakfasts we enjoyed were different each day; selection was wide and plentiful. Also, the hotel offers 'grab and go' breakfast bags, i found those are for folks leaving early, and contain fruit, bagels and PB usually, also would be great for workers staying at the hotel. Also the room we had had a closet instead of a rack for clothes. I would recommend to my friends and we'll book there next time we head toward Lead!

The rooms were clean. Staff was good. Parking was fine. breakfast was good. Laundry for guest to use was rather expensive $10 a load to wash and dry. Laundry mat a couple blocks away was a lot cheaper. The mattress was firm I didn’t like that.

Room was clean and staff very helpful. Not a real walkable area. No dining options close to hotel. Deadwood is 10 mins away so spent most of our time there.

Rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. They advertise a buffet breakfast but it was not good. Breakfast is 6-10 and by 8 they were out if most stuff and no one was refilling unless you went to ask. No fruit at all, orange juice ran out day two of our trip and never replaced. It should be listed as maybe a continental plus but definitely not a buffet.

Clean room, very nice staff, they made sure my family had a conjoined room, let me check in early, my kids enjoyed hot cocoa they had available 24/7 at the coffee station, staff gave my children cookies at the front desk. Very welcoming, will stay again. The parking garage was also a plus

Front desk was very friendly. Seems he was trying to take care of front desk and breakfast at the same time. Kept running out of stuff at breakfast. Then had to find someone to refill juice, waffle batter, forks, etc. Nice, new hotel. Room was great and clean.

So we called this Hampton and specifically asked if there would be shuttle service over the weekend. The person we spoke with said it would be running until midnight. We would never would have stayed in that remote location if there wouldn’t be a shuttle into town. It was below zero so walking wasn’t an option. When we got there the desk person said there wasn’t a shuttle and didn’t know anything about it. He then called someone, apparently it was the owner, who told him to tell us it was broken down. So we didn’t get to go anywhere that night, and the day the staff told us the real story, that they just didn’t have any one to drive so they hadn’t done it for awhile. It’s bad enough that we were stuck there, but the lying to us was the limit. You couldn’t pay me to stay there again!

So we called this Hampton and specifically asked if there would be shuttle service over the weekend. The person we spoke with said it would be running until midnight. We would never would have stayed in that remote location if there wouldn’t be a shuttle into town. It was below zero so walking wasn’t an option. When we got there the desk person said there wasn’t a shuttle and didn’t know anything about it. He then called someone, apparently it was the owner, who told him to tell us it was broken down. So we didn’t get to go anywhere that night, and the day the staff told us the real story, that they just didn’t have any one to drive so they hadn’t done it for awhile. It’s bad enough that we were stuck there, but the lying to us was the limit. You couldn’t pay me to stay there again!

Parking area was great as it was covered! The staff were excellent. We would like to especially thank Jenny (at the front desk) for all her help and assistance! She gave excellent directions for dinner suggestions! Breakfast was excellent and the room was excellent and extremely clean! This was a wonderful place for a few nights to relax in the area! 👌😘

Although it isn't a 5 star hotel, for a small town it gets a 5 star with full amenities, a nice breakfast, great staff, great value and an impressive exercise room for this hotel! We would definitely stay again!

The rooms were clean. Staff was good. Parking was fine. breakfast was good. Laundry for guest to use was rather expensive $10 a load to wash and dry. Laundry mat a couple blocks away was a lot cheaper. The mattress was firm I didn’t like that.

Rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. They advertise a buffet breakfast but it was not good. Breakfast is 6-10 and by 8 they were out if most stuff and no one was refilling unless you went to ask. No fruit at all, orange juice ran out day two of our trip and never replaced. It should be listed as maybe a continental plus but definitely not a buffet.

Front desk was very friendly. Seems he was trying to take care of front desk and breakfast at the same time. Kept running out of stuff at breakfast. Then had to find someone to refill juice, waffle batter, forks, etc. Nice, new hotel. Room was great and clean.

Very clean and modern after a recent renovation. Huge lobby and lounge area. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I’d ever had. Huge variety of food with a chef on site cooking. 10/10, nicest chain hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Close to deadwood and black hills.

Absolutely LOVED our stay at the Hampton Inn in Lead SD. Front reception was welcoming when we checked in; our room was super clean; the rooms on our floor were quiet, as were the halls; the recently remodeled Hampton Inn was and clean from the gathering spaces to the kitchen breakfast area. Wi Fi was great; the large TV had good reception. We really liked the covered parking area with spaces that were wide, it was nice to have parking in that area. The 3 breakfasts we enjoyed were different each day; selection was wide and plentiful. Also, the hotel offers 'grab and go' breakfast bags, i found those are for folks leaving early, and contain fruit, bagels and PB usually, also would be great for workers staying at the hotel. Also the room we had had a closet instead of a rack for clothes. I would recommend to my friends and we'll book there next time we head toward Lead!

This place is a nice, clean and staff is very friendly! They have a great breakfast in the morning and for dinning I recommend the sled haus it is within walking distance. Would stay again

The hotel is fairly new and well kept. The room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy; pillows - eh. Bathroom conveniently designed with quality towels. Staff was helpful, particularly a younger girl with a dark ponytail in housekeeping who ate Takis on the elevator. :) She went out of her way to help us with something in our room - wish I had gotten her name. Breakfast was the only thing that needed improvement. It's set up weird; people were tripping over each other going from area to area. The hot food was not very hot and the second day had plant based sausage. Curious for western South Dakota. However, there was plenty of seating, which is rare. Easy parking and a good hub for the northern Hills.

This hotel was fabulous!! I’ve stayed here in the past but it was under a different brand. This room was functional and VERY clean!! Also had a very decent sized TV. The lobby was gorgeous as well. I checked in around 1am and the young lady that checked me in was super nice and helpful. A+++ property and stay!!
