Rooms are all huge. Carpet and furniture a bit old but not dirty. Pool, hot tub, and sauna are nice. There isn't really a "gym". There are free donuts or frozen burritos for breakfast.

Very nice hotel. My only disappointment was not being able to use the pool until 9 am as I like to get up early and swim. I went down at 9:30 to find the pool padlocked but they did open it for me

Rooms are spacious and the pool/hot tub was clean. I wish they would have posted the dog fee on the web page ($50m a night) Staff was very nice and it was extremely sweet to get homemade donnuts and OJ DELIVED every AM. I will stay again.

Very friendly front desk staff. Very comfortable. Love the little details - ice cream cone offered at check-in or anytime you want! Love that donuts and OJ are delivered to your room at the time you specify. Downside: Fitness center and pool don't open until 9am. Need to open by 8am, before guests head out to their adventures.

It was a decent place, maybe overpriced a bit for the kind of suite we got. The gym was a treadmill, an elliptical and a stationary bike from the 70s all crammed in a laundry/storage room.

Great staff very nice Only issue is that the pool and hot tub were closed if this was disclosed on their web page I might have chosen a different property. We wanted the use of a pool because the weather was going to be very hot That said, the room was very spacious and we made the best of it.

The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was spacious size which was a big plus (we had two queen beds), plenty of room for two women to get ready in the morning. Fresh home made donuts and coffee in the morning. Great price and very quiet, we will be back for sure. The only downside was the carpet could be cleaned.

The front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are a little dated, but they are very clean and big. I love the daily soft serve ice cream and the freshly made in house mini doughnuts. The price is reasonable.

The king bed we had was a complete canoe bed. We had to climb out of the bed to get up and my husband and I slept in the center of the bed. Very uncomfortable. The manager told us in the morning that it was the best bed in the hotel. He was absolutely lying to us to save face.

We spent a night at Murphys Suites during our trip up to Bear Valley and the nearby snow parks with our family of four, including two young boys. Overall, it was a great stay! The hotel is a little dated, but our room was clean, and the older decor added a bit of 1980s charm. The room was extremely spacious, featuring two comfortable queen beds and a separate living area with a second TV, perfect for giving the kids their space. The staff was incredibly friendly, and check-in was a breeze. The lady at the front desk explained everything thoroughly and made us feel welcome. We also appreciated the coffee options: our room had a coffee machine, but the free coffee near the front desk was even better. One of the highlights was the complimentary homemade donuts and orange juice in the morning—a small but thoughtful touch that made our stay even better. Overall we like staying at Murphy's suites. This time we stayed on the first floor and it was pretty noisy from guest above us. It seems like the needs a renovation but the staff is super friendly and the location is great.

The staff were a delight. They all were so friendly and helpful, from the lovely desk attendants to the remarkable custodial staff. They elevated our stay from just another roadside stop to a memory worth keeping.

The staff is the #1 reason to stay here. There was a big auto show in town and they were completely booked but everyone I encountered was helpful, happy and smiling. I noticed they went out of their way to greet everyone and knew many of the guests from past stays. It just really stood out to me. The rooms were large and very clean, although a little dated. I would recommend they replace the pillows or that guests bring one if they are particular like me. If you were going into town it’s a little off the Main Street but still close enough to be convenient. Lastly, I love love love that they offer complimentary soft serve and I like that they serve a local roast coffee at the front desk. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here 3 times in the last year. The rooms are big and comfortable. We like the all you can eat ice cream and mini doughnuts for breakfast. The woman who checked us in was the same one that checked us in last time. Last time she was very friendly and helpful but this time not so much. She was rude and short with me at first, but got better toward the end. The hotel is pretty dated. It really needs a refresh. But it was overall clean and a good location so we probably will stay here again.

The gentleman that was not wearing a name badge upon arrival was not very friendly and acted like job was a burden. When I asked about the coffee/ice cream they had for free he acted like it was a stupid question that I was just verifying about. Then he told me options for continental breakfast in low smart sorta smart aleck voice that I repeated to make sure I was correct. He just acted like it was putting him out to have to respond. I am a nice friendly person and he was probably one of the worst I've ever been greeted if you call greeted at a hotel. Hotel inside was clean but super dated like early 1980 decor, old worn out red carpet, ugly wall paper, musty moldy smell in room and towels in room seem about that old as well. Only positive is it was clean and quite.

Murphys Suites was a great little hotel to stay in for our family ski trip. Having a hot tub was a huge plus. The staff were kind and welcoming. My daughter loved the free soft serve ice cream.

During checking, there is a break time at front desk when you basically have to wait until the lunch is over. If you are tired and want to get a room right away, it will make you uncomfortable. Not enough stuff to accommodate the visitors.

All rooms face an internal corridor, rather than outside. The room is big. In addition, they offer free ice cream, small donuts and orange juice, not breakfast though. Running in early morning, I feel safe. Plan to stay next time in town.

The property is a bit dated; however, it is clean. 5 people can sleep comfortably in each room that has a separate area with sofa-bed. It is right next to HWY 4 but we did not hear the noise from the road inside our room. You can walk to downtown for dining by taking the back roads, just ask the reception for a map. It is a 10 minute walk to downtown.

Fresh donuts in the am-cinamin, regular, sugared, powdered or you can get frozen burritos with orange juice and coffee. Free vanilla ice cream off of the machine. Loved the hot pool ad regular pool. It was a great experience for the our family of 5 with 3 kids under 7. Big trees is about 20 minutes away. We went there 2 days in a row. Best experience ever for a family with little kids.

Bed was very hard (just not for me) but, the pillows were like rocks. The donuts were not good at all. Coffee was very tasty and the room and lobby were clean and inviting

The staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The hotel was in a great location so we could walk around downtown and be close to get back. The OJ and fresh donuts in the morning were such a nice treat. We will definitely come back!

Rooms are large and accommodating. They are clean and the linens are standard. The staff is EXCELLENT !! They are like a family friendly and kind. You get fresh made donuts or frozen burritos and OJ for breakfast, delivered to your room upon request and the coffee is always available. The pool and hot tub are clean and there are tables and sun chairs to relax on. Soft serve ice cream is available 24/7 from the front desk. Pets are allowed for a small fee. The area is by a school and there is a fantastic day spa (Jillian's) and great food available at Asian Cafe across the street.

The suite was of good size and was clean. There was a kitchenette but no one single utensil provided. I loved the heat lamp in the bathroom to cut down the chilling after a hot shower-something even a 5-star hotel does not provide. The bad: There is a sewage odor around the walkway from the room to the parking lot. We had to make our own bed with the linen provided- a big no no especially after a long trip. I would have giving this a 3.5 star were it not for the bad making chore. For those who visit Murphys , do realize that the town is totally dead after 8 or 9 pm. The only place you can get food later is at the Shell Gas station. The "freshly made" sandwiches stored in the frige there turned out to be water logged and inedible.

Everything was wonderful we stayed one night there I booked three rooms for me and my cousin visiting from out of state with four kids all rooms were very clean spacious and has everything you can think of to make us comfortable like at home staff were very helpful when checked in and the next day in the morning it was my first time up there if I go up there again that’s where I will stay.

Really gone down hill. We’ve stayed here a few times over the years and the accommodations continue to decline. Has not been updated at all over the 30 years we’ve been there. Carpets stained and dirty, fixtures felt grimy and bathtub had not been cleaned (hair in the tub). Terrible stains and dirty in the bathroom. I will never stay here again!
