Beautiful unique lodge in the mountains! Lovely staff, super fun games room, tons of amazing hiking, delicious coffee. Fireplaces and soaker tubs, comfy beds and birds!! Truly loved it:) We are plant based and survived and they helped / oat milk and overnight oats were appreciated. My only tiny note is you could hear cars from the patio so its not dead quiet but pretty quiet:) Would def go back!!

Cool hotel. Has the feel of a log cabin and a Hobbit movie. Pet friendly and gourmet breakfast. Fire place in room and fire pits on the grounds. We stop very year on our way to Maine for the summer from Florida. And look forward to this particular stop.

Nice bed and Breakfast, friendly staff. Breakfast was good, Continental plus one hot cooked item each day. Cozy rooms and community area with drinks and snacks. Would highly recommend if in the area

Excellent all around. My husband and I take at least one trip up to the Catskills area per year, but it’s usually twice, and this is the best hotel we’ve experienced. Service was lovely. Especially enjoyed the included breakfast with excellent coffee and plenty of options. Unbelievable water pressure in the bathrooms. Very close to Hunter for skiing, which was the draw for us this particular trip, and lots of hiking trails nearby. Cozy game room and fireplace in the evening. Only con/tip if you book would be to avoid room #1 if you can, as it’s the only room on the first floor and we endured very loud footsteps above us early in the morning.

I stayed at Hotel Mountain Brook for a hiking trip, since it's a short drive from many hiking trails in the area. I couldn't be more pleased with my stay. The hotel is fairly small and creates a more intimate setting for everyone staying, which allowed us to befriend a few people who were staying there around the same time as us. The staff is very kind and accommodating, free breakfast is freshly made to order, there's a wide variety of snacks available in the common area, and the hotel is walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and there's plenty of parking space behind the hotel. I will definitely be staying here again when I'm back in the area.

Loved our stay!! Friendly staff, great breakfast and had a cozy feel. Loved that they had filtered water and a glass bottle we could fill up. Completely snacks and drinks. Fun collection of DVD’s you could watch in your room. The Village of Tannersville was quaint and walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Very clean, very cozy atmosphere. Would definitely stay here again. Great for a weekend getaway or retreat to simplicity. We enjoyed the DVD collection! It was a nice touch. TV was a bit small, but otherwise great facilities. Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, very accommodating.

I love this Hotel! The staff were so friendly and kind. The room spelled so good and it was cleaned! OMG! Don't get me started on the breakfast. They have multiple options of food for you to eat. You have to try their homemade blueberry Oatmeal. It is to die for. I absolutely love this hotel, it was my first Solo trip and it made me feel comfortable and confidence. Thank you so much! I will definitely comeback again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mountainbrook and enjoyed everything about it. All the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A quiet, beautiful setting and Breakfast was excellent. We look forward to coming back!

I had such a lovely time here. Traveled solo for the first time and never felt unsafe. The staff were so kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and charmingly decorated. The property was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. It's also close to some great hiking, yummy restaurants, and fun antique shops. I never drove farther than 15 mins the whole time I was there. Perfect place to refuel the soul!

We had a wedding in the area and stayed 1 night at this wonderful hotel. The rooms are all unique and well appointed. Our Room 14 in the east lodge was just perfect - very comfortable bed, stylish decor, little balcony and shared porch. The breakfast was delicious and the hosts are really lovely people. Service and attention to detail and sustainability was exceptional. Thank you Hotel Mountain Brook, we can’t wait to go back and stay longer!

Property was very nice. The staff was excellent. My only complaint would be that the rooms are smaller than you’d think based on pics. Walls are paper thin so you hear everything in the room next door. We were lucky it was an older couple next to us so they were quiet. It’s definitely a nice place but I wouldn’t opt to stay there again.

Absolutely Loved Our Stay – A New Family Tradition! We had such a wonderful experience during our stay, made even more special as it was our first trip with our 2-month-old baby. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and hospitality of the staff made us feel right at home it truly felt more like staying at a family-run inn than a typical corporate hotel. A huge thank you to Jenn, Nicole, Chloe, Sandra, and every single team member we were so impressed by the kindness and care shown throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the cabin-style rooms, which was incredibly spacious, cozy, and just perfect for us as new parents. It gave us the comfort and peace we needed while traveling with a newborn. We’re already looking forward to coming back it’s officially become our new yearly tradition!

The staff here is the best! The only issue I saw before arrival was no elevator. Nicole immediately started carrying our luggage up. The breakfasts were so delicious! Kept us energized for our days of hiking and visits at museums. I can’t say enough about how great the staff was and we had fun in the game room and made friends by the fire pit. Thank you to them!! The room was huge and comfortable.

Hotel Mountain Brook is a wonderful find! We were looking for a relaxing weekend getaway and this was the perfect place. Sandra was so welcoming and made us feel at home. The game room with 24/7 snacks, beverages, and lots of movies to watch was awesome. The decor was lovely posh mountain rustic. Can't wait until we can return!

I wish I could've stayed for more than one night. The staff is so welcoming and makes sure their guests have what they need to really enjoy their stay. The breakfast in the morning was really nice. They have a great assortment of usual breakfast items but with a homemade touch. And they serve a daily hot item as well. Sitting out on the porch eating my delicious breakfast, listening to the birds chirping in that gorgeous setting was such a treat. I'll definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area. The hotel and the room was great. However, it was very hard to catch any sleep at night since there are load of floor squeaks when someone is going up or down the stairs or anyone walking right above your room. If you are staying on the 2nd floor and there is a room right above yours, get ready to hear squeaks and steps right above your room when trying catch ZzZ. The area around the hotel was okay, I mean it is ideal for hikers and nature lovers but there are not many restaurants to choose from. Def go to surrounding towns for food option.

Excellent all around. My husband and I take at least one trip up to the Catskills area per year, but it’s usually twice, and this is the best hotel we’ve experienced. Service was lovely. Especially enjoyed the included breakfast with excellent coffee and plenty of options. Unbelievable water pressure in the bathrooms. Very close to Hunter for skiing, which was the draw for us this particular trip, and lots of hiking trails nearby. Cozy game room and fireplace in the evening. Only con/tip if you book would be to avoid room #1 if you can, as it’s the only room on the first floor and we endured very loud footsteps above us early in the morning.

We were looking for a nice quiet few days. The accommodations were clean and well-appointed. The staff was outstanding--friendly, efficient-- a very warm feeling. Breakfasts were delicious--varied, healthy (and not!), and well prepared. Tannersville is quiet, but it has a few good restaurants and places to explore. Excellent location-close to Hunter and other winter activities-- or to simply power down (which is what we did).

I stayed at Hotel Mountain Brook for a hiking trip, since it's a short drive from many hiking trails in the area. I couldn't be more pleased with my stay. The hotel is fairly small and creates a more intimate setting for everyone staying, which allowed us to befriend a few people who were staying there around the same time as us. The staff is very kind and accommodating, free breakfast is freshly made to order, there's a wide variety of snacks available in the common area, and the hotel is walking distance from plenty of restaurants and shops. The rooms were very clean and spacious, and there's plenty of parking space behind the hotel. I will definitely be staying here again when I'm back in the area.

I had such a lovely time here. Traveled solo for the first time and never felt unsafe. The staff were so kind and helpful. The rooms were very clean and charmingly decorated. The property was incredibly peaceful and beautiful. It's also close to some great hiking, yummy restaurants, and fun antique shops. I never drove farther than 15 mins the whole time I was there. Perfect place to refuel the soul!

Cool hotel. Has the feel of a log cabin and a Hobbit movie. Pet friendly and gourmet breakfast. Fire place in room and fire pits on the grounds. We stop very year on our way to Maine for the summer from Florida. And look forward to this particular stop.

I love this Hotel! The staff were so friendly and kind. The room spelled so good and it was cleaned! OMG! Don't get me started on the breakfast. They have multiple options of food for you to eat. You have to try their homemade blueberry Oatmeal. It is to die for. I absolutely love this hotel, it was my first Solo trip and it made me feel comfortable and confidence. Thank you so much! I will definitely comeback again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mountainbrook and enjoyed everything about it. All the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and clean. A quiet, beautiful setting and Breakfast was excellent. We look forward to coming back!

Jammer dat we maar één nacht konden blijven. Heerlijk om te verblijven in zo’n mooi hotel in de rustige natuur. Het personeel was super vriendelijk. Makkelijk om te parkeren, verschillende eetopties in de buurt. Ontbijt was heel goed. Heel erg van genoten.

Fabulous hotel to stay at in the Catskills. Very near to all the different villages in the mountains. The hotel is Beautifully appointed and our cabin, (rose) was fabulous. Breakfast was continental with a different hot dish served daily along with freshly baked pastries. Delicious! Kudos to the mgr Chloe and her team

This was one of the most charming hotels. The amenities like free cokes and snacks are not something I’ve ever seen. And the breakfast is not your typical bland continental breakfast. Do not hesitate to stay at this charming hotel.

I really enjoyed staying at Mountain Brook. The attention to detail was 5 star. Breakfast and amenties was amazing. Chloe went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable . Everything was provided for . Loved the breakfast the extra tea and beverages whenever we desired. Of course the smores for fire pit and blankets if cold. Place was super clean and well maintained. As an artist I enjoyed painting the grounds. Would love to get my artist friends to do an event there. I cant wait to be back next year or sooner.
