Very cool experience. Loved the outdoor deck and fireplace, especially at night. Convenient for cycling and walking to the main street. The park has a really nice big pool in summer. The room is very well designed to use the space - not luxurious but comfortable. Coffee v. good.

Such a unique experience! The suite was well-stocked with water, and a few treats. Loved having the fire pit at night (and early morning), especially since we came in the fall. Bed was super cozy. There’s no EV charger onsite, but there is one 300m away at the city hall. The Flotel is located within walking distance to everything.

It was like being in a tiny house on the water.👍 It was a fun experience and would try it again. The only fault weI countered was that the parking was a 1/2 block from the flotel. We were admonished by workers who we’re doing work at the public restrooms for driving up to the flotel in order to drop our bags off. None of those people had anything to do with the flotel business. Our stay was great easy dining and many different cuisines within walking distance.

Other than the location of the oRkong, the whole experience was fantastoc. The room was clean and comfortable. The view was amazing. We had paddle boards and could easily get them in the water.

We almost got locked in the bathroom because of the door not working well (room#4), and the water pomp is VERY noisy and starts everytime. And the view is 90° lake, and 90° mainroad and industrial background.

Great houseboat hotel on the rover just stros away ftom downtown Valleyfield. Cozy, clean, tiny house style accomodatoobs with rivrrside firepits and plenty of free parking. No staff onsite. Very cool place

Let's be clear about this, This is not a 5 star Hilton hotel. If that is what you're expecting you will be disappointed. What this is, is an unique and interesting experience. Flotel Valleyfield is a 6 room hotel made out of shipping containers on 3 barges floating in the harbour. Each room has a small sitting area, a "wet" room toilet/shower area, and a sleeping nook. The interior is finished all in plywood. Amenities include TV, a small cube fridge, and Nespresso coffee maker. On the water side of the room is a shared deck with wood chairs you can put the provided cushions on and a propane fire table. There is also a steep stairway up onto the roof where there are other wooden chairs. You can swim off of your deck as there are 2 swimming pool ladders to help you get in and out of the water. There is NO front desk. On the day of your arrival, you will get a text allowing you to sign in. Once that is done you will get a 4 digit code to use to unlock/lock the door. If you do need assistance there is a 1-800 number to call. The rooms all have 2 sliding patio doors onto the deck. These doors have security bars to prevent anyone from breaking in although in my room one of them was missing. The TV is a ROKU system which can be difficult to use if you are unfamiliar with it. The is a fan in the sleeping nook but needs to be plugged in every time you want to use it. Small inconveniences. The bed is VERY comfortable and the linens are soft and luxurious but it's only a double.

Unique place, quiet, enjoyed the deck and fireplace on deck. Would have liked a regular coffee pot to make tea and coffee instead of a expresso machine. Also needs a light over the coffee shelf. A little horrified to find the duvet wasnt covered by a top and bottom sheet.... Just a top one .....so the duvet touched me all night , but who was it on the night before? When the cleaners came round they didn't carry new duvets so I'm sure they are not refreshed each day . It's too bad that mared my memories of the place because I loved it's clean, simple, rustic vibe

Totalement insatisfait du logement car nous n avons pas pu dormir dans celui ci car il etait rempli de mouchette et de moustique a notre arrivee a 20h00. Nous avons du louer une chambre a l hotel plaza situe a 300 m qui nous a couter 280 dollars car impossible de dormir avec autant d insecte. Nous avons pris des photos comme preuve. De plus le logement n etait pas propre ( toile d araignée, poussière, ...). Il faisait trop chaud et tres peu de moyen pour rafraichir le logement ( un petit ventilateur au niveau du lit. Il n y avait pas egalement d eau chaude. Ensuite tres peu d information, voir aucune par rapport au parking du coup risque d amende ou de remorquage. Nous avons vraiment eu l impression d être dans un logement laissé a l abandon. Cette hébergement ne vaut pas du le prix demandé. Les personnes qui tiennent ca ne veulent juste que se faire de l argent. On pensait passer une bonne fin de semaine et finalement cela c est transformer en cauchemard.

The property and experience were both great, even in winter! Super clean! We loved the heated floors and the wonderful use of space. The bed was very comfy and there is a lot of natural light. Parking was easy and there are options for food within walking distance. Looking forward to returning in the summertime!

Around the deck outside of the room, there are a lot of spider webs with spiders. At room number six there wasn’t a blackout in the shades so you must wake up with the sun. That’s not really nice for a relax weekend.

Vraiment propre , le lit et les oreillers sont confortables . Netflix est accessible dans la télévision .

Beau concept , tres dépaysant, bon confort. Séjour très agréable sur l’eau mais un effort pour enlever les toiles d’araignées à l’extérieur.

Very Nice outside on the Deck with the fireplace. Should clean more, patio door under the fridge, didnt clean water for the coffre machine. Noisy at night near our head, something was knocking under.

Unique hotel on water. (Frozen for our visit in winter!) Comfortable bed in nook, shower is with toilet and sink on deck type floor. Nautical feel. Wish we had arrived in daylight, tough to see and figure out after dark.

The view and location were great. Our room was warm and stuffy. The thermostat did not seem to do anything. It was a neat concept. Trying it once is enough for us.

Very cute and cozy cabin. It is small but it wasn’t a problem for my girlfriend and I, we absolutely loved it! 5/5

Nous avons aimé globalement notre séjour. Toutefois, nous avons eu de la difficulté à dormir en raison de la chaleur dans la cabine qui n’est pas climatisée (alors que la température extérieure était de 18 degrés la nuit). Le matelas est confortable mais enveloppant et conserve beaucoup de chaleur. Bien qu’il y ait un petit ventilateur au dessus du lit, ce n’est pas suffisant pour aider pour la chaleur.

Une belle découverte pour moi ce Flotel. L'espace est restraint, mais pour se reposer et passer une soirée avec une vue magnifique à fleur d'eau du lit ou du patio c'est l'ideal! Lit super confo, responsable très gentil. Je vais y retourner c'est certain.

En générale c'est bien propre mais pour y accéder cest une autre histoire . Les chiffres du clavier numérique qui vous permettent d'entrer sont illisibles . Il n'y a pas de personnel sur place et noys avons perdus l'électricité vers 00.30 .

Tout à été parfait ! Les gérants ont été accessibles et surtout très accueillants .

L'accès à l'eau est génial. Le personnel est vraiment gentil.

Tout s'est bien passé mis à part un petit problème de chauffage qui a été réglé rapidement.

Very cool property. Sunset view was spectacular! Fountain was lovely too. Not sure I'd swim there though with that many ducks and boats. Boat and paddle boards rentals very close by. Excellent hosts!!!

Nice concept, but little to do in the town

Vraiment spécial comme localisation nous avions l’impression d’être en croisière sur un paquebot. C’est certain que c’est restreint au niveau de l’espace étant fabriqué à partir de conteneur mais toutes les commodités sont là incluant une vue imprenable sur la baie de Valleyfield et un plancher chauffant super agréable,

Very clean and unique. It gave me a European feeling. Also, the main street is really nice, with old style boutiques. Beautiful Christmas lights and decorations in the old town. Just like you would find in Europe. Too bad it was raining, I would have loved to enjoy the roof top deck. Well done...

Indication le soir pour se rendre au Flotel par super bien indiquer et la localisation sur le GPS incorrecte. Pour le reste, nous avons grandement apprécier notre séjour. Tranquille, belle vue et le lac semble hyper propre.
